The chalkboard read "lightning attack", "prefer camel meat", "powerful at spellcraft", and "like to taunt others".

Damaris seemed pretty excited about going to her class today, and of course she would be, she would be learning about him, what better class could there be? Red thought smugly to himself as he strutted down the corridor with his girl. He didn't seem at all against going to this class, this time it would be interesting. There wouldn't be any boring instructions for the girl, oh no, this time it was all about him.
Damaris loved learning about dragons, she really seemed to like all different sorts. She was really excited to learn more about blue dragons, she wanted to know if Red's behavior was like most Blues or if he was a bit of an odd ball.
She walked into the class with her hair down and in a blue neck strapped top with a short sleeved sky blue shirt underneath. She looked around wondering if she was going to be the only one in this class.
However before she was able to actually walk in the Blue strutted in in front of her, making his grand entrance.

Peri smiled as his sole student arrived, trying to hide his grin at the dragon's antics. The wyrmlings were always amusing to see at this age. They had such personality already. "Hello." He greeted the pair as they arrived. "It's just you two today, so take a seat and get comfortable."
"I usually start off the class seeing if you've got any questions. If not, there's some stuff on the board I'll be covering."

Damaris looked at the board and thought the things over in her head. She did indeed have questions, she loved dragons and she would be happy to learn some new things about them.
Red didn't seem to have a hard time settling himself down on one of the cushions on the ground, going around and inspecting them all before finding the most suitable one. He stretched himself out and settled down on it. Not as good as his girls bed at home but not bad.
"Uh, well I do have a couple of questions." Damaris mused, "Do all blue dragons like to taunt other people?" She said pointing to the board, "Red likes to keep himself away from others so far. Or is that something they develop when they get older? Is there any way to try and keep him from getting too rude? He isn't too bad now he just seems to be 'a bit full of himself'" She said cupping her hands and whispering the last part. She knew Red would get huffy if he heard that.
She didn't seem to hold back with bombarding Peri with her questions.

"Well, each dragon is different in personality, just like humans are. But, for the most part, each color dragon tends to have a sort of general disposition. You'll meet some that are different in each group, though." Peri glanced over at the blue dragon. "He may take a liking to taunting others as he grows older, or he may not."
"Hmm... as far as preventing him from being rude... or at least too rude... well, the dragons at this point are like little children and you play the role of mother. At least in most cases. As you both grow older, it'll become more like friends, but a lot of the time, if you just tell him that you don't like what he said or how he said it, he'd probably listen to you."

"Really?" Damaris asked a little skeptical. It was hard for her to think that Red thought of her as a mother figure right now. She peered over at the him.
Red had made himself comfortable on a cushion and was now lazily spacing out, they weren't talking about how great he was yet, all this conversation so far has just been boring to him.
"I heard from other people that chromatic dragons were evil. Red won't grow up to be evil if I teach him not to will he?" She asked curious. She really didn't want to have her dragon grow up to be an evil person. She cared about Red a lot, she knew that he was his own self but she didn't want him to be bad.
"But, I think that's all the questions I can think of now." She concluded sitting on a cushion next to Red.

"Well, you're the only thing he's really got, right?" Peri gave a shrug. He'd seen some of the dragons that didn't care what their kid thought... but he had to nod at the girl's next question. "Yes, blues are one of the chromatic dragons... and as a general rule, the chromatics are evil."
"However, you could probably get him to at least be more neutral. The nice thing is that they aren't with others of their kind, so some of the influence may be in part from that. But a good deal seems to be almost genetic. Depending on your relationship with him, it could affect how he acts with others..."

Damaris looked down on Red, she hoped that she'd be able to do enough for him to keep him from becoming evil. She would definitely be sure to try her hardest.
"Alright." Damaris said as she waited for Mr. Coleman to start his lecture.
Red heard the discussion of 'good' and 'evil' and he really didn't seem to care much about it, though he was supposedly supposed to be evil. The dragon pondered that for a moment and decided he was far too above the label of 'evil'.

Peri glanced back at the board as the girl didn't have any more questions. "Alright, well, blues are an earth subtype, which makes sense with their love of burrowing. They have a lightning attack and, unlike a lot of the other dragons, don't have a second breath weapon. However, they excel at spellcraft, which often makes up for that lack."
"Oh, and they love camel meat. It's their favorite food ever."

Damaris had a little notebook with her. She was writing a few things down, she loved dragons and even started to paint them lately.
"Really? I didn't know that Red...doesn't seem to care much about what he eats...he just likes to eat." She said with a giggle as she looked over at her dragon who huffed slightly.
"Is Red able to use his breath weapon now? Or does it not develop until later? Cause I haven't seen him use it yet, and I just didn't know." She asked note pad at the ready. This was probably the only class she was this attentive at.

"It'll be a while before he'll be able to use his breath weapon. A couple of years, at least. You'll be about a teenager at the time." Peri paused for a moment, thinking. "Well, really, that's about all I've got.... so, unless you've got any more questions..."

Damaris looked a little disappointed, "Aww, that's it? Well...I can't really think of anymore questions right now." She admitted. She was hoping to learn a bit more about Red today.
She was tempted to ask about other types of dragons, but that wasn't what this class was about, so she refrained.

"Well, I don't really want to overwhelm you... plus, there's a lot of stuff that you've probably figured out on your own by now. Like the fact that he's blue." The man grinned at that and gave a bit of a shrug.

Damaris huffed a little herself, hmm, wonder who Red got it from, "Alright...but can I come back another time? To learn about other dragons?" Damaris asked as she got up and nudged Red with her foot to get him motivated.

Peri gave a shrug. "Uh, I suppose so..." Besides Nibal, he hadn't met a kid interested in other dragons besides their own... "Sure, why not."
