Whoo! Thanks for reminding me. I knew I'd forgotten a race.
I'm fleeing Hurricane Rita, tomorrow, and traffic is abysmal (duh) so if I'm still alive, which I'm sure I'll be, I'll start up the history post as soon as possible.

With those cat-dog-animal peoples, are they hairy all over or in certain places? o_o *considering that as a race for his character* I obviously won't bind you to it, as this is by no means FFXI, but the implication (although you could never see them entirely naked) is that yes, they were entirely covered in fur., though it wasn't necessarily obtrusively thick (in that it appeared no different than skin even from moderate distances)

Although, I might do something different.

Okay, since I'm breaking millions of rules, I've gotta get a general consensus on this. Vana'diel, as portrayed in FFXI, is around 17-18th century technology, with a few pushes into more modernish technology (like guns and stuff) Because of Ether(magic) this will obviously be fantasy, but this also takes places years after the timeframe of FFXI. Because of this, the technology would be more advanced.
However, since I'm totally ******** with everything, I could make it go backwards some, leave it as it is, or assume that technology is somewhat more advanced. It's up to you guys.
Also, I will be posting a map of the world as soon as I can find one. If I can't we'll either have to make do with description, or run it as a more freeform world, like we had in Blue Moon.
