He entered. There wasn't anything flashy about it, he just walked into the room dressed only in a pair of sweats, dark gloves and sneakers. He would wait for his opponent to arrive.

Crawley descended the stairs into the pit wearing a lightweight black leather blazer, some black pants, shoes, black shirt, belt. The usual stuff people wear.
He eyed Arian as he entered. No one made him come practically unarmed but he chose to anyway. Either way, Crawley'd have no mercy one way or the other.
After entering the arena he continued walking in a relaxed pace towards his large opponent. As he did he brushed back the length of his blazer to reveal a handle. A handle that once he retrieved with his right hand, extended out, a baton...

Seemed his opponent deemed that his fight was fair in this manner, oh well. Raising his hands as he clenched his fist, he would turn his body towards Crawley, his arms looking as if he was flexing his muscles.... or giving Crawley free range at his body by taunting him. Either way he was looking down on his opponent in this manner.

Not phased. Crawley got into a little stance of his own with his right side leading. His hands dangled in front of him to the inside of his stance.
If uninterrupted, he'd put himself just within Arian's punching range. Close enough to receive the maximum force of any punch thrown. His chin, head, torso, all wide open.
"We've been through this before. You're 1,000 years too early to fight me."

"Yet your the one who brought a weapon to fight me. Interesting." He wouldn't even bother to hide the sneering tone behind his words as he lowered his hands and circled to his left, something that would take him to Crawley's back side. He hated counter punchers with a passion, but he would have to play one today as that baton put him at a disadvantage.

"Narcissism isn't very gentlemanly. This isn't just for you."
Arian was afraid of the big stick. As he tried to circle to his left, Crawley adjusted his stance further to the right. As he did, he actually brought himself a little closer to Arian. This was going to be cattle slaughter.

So basically they were going to dance around each other cuz Crawley wanted to be a counter puncher with a stick and Arian didn't want to do something dumb like walk into a trap. So he just walked in closer instead of trying to go around him. Now they stood 3 feet apart. "What now?"

Well one of them had to be a "counter puncher." But okay.
Crawley quickly skipped back to four feet and immediately let the baton flick at the inside of Arian's left knee cap.
He could check it. But that'd hurt. He could bring his arms down to block it.. but that would be stupid and it'd hurt. Or he could try to back up faster than an arm flicks.. but.. aha.

So he sacrificed power to deliver a strike that held no force behind it. Striking at 4 feet of distance meant he was short arming it or hitting with the inside of the pole. Either way he wasn't trying to cause significant damage. But as Crawley moved, Arian would simply slide his left leg forward as he cocked his torso to the right. As the back of Crawley's forearm would slam off his calf/thigh/knee area, Arian would already be whipping his torso around as he pivoted on his toes. The motion would be to bring a full body right straight to the unguarded face of his opponent.
Counter strike.

Crawley's strike wasn't one he had to fully commit to so he decided to show Arian what a real counter strike was. Right arm slamming into the left knee cap and bouncing off? Okay.
As the punch came, Crawley's left arm went up as his head lowered under the path of the punch and his right arm quickly flicked the baton out again. This time at the underside of Arian's fully exposed groin.
After making contact with whatever, he quickly weaved out two steps away from Arian from the ducking maneuver.

He had closed the gap with the slide forward, so where was the strike going to go? At 2 and a half to 3 feet of distance he was going to strike again. As the blow would be dodged, he would simply pivot on his toes again as he turned his torso to the right. Yeah he would be turning stomach into the blow, but it would be worth it as the turning of his torso would result in him throwing a bone shattering left hook to his ribs. Take a blow to give a blow. Only difference was Crawley's was a flick, Arian was a full on punch.

*Note: I intend to edit this into a post, as soon as I receive an edit with a response that acknowledges all the factors that shaped the attack.

Doesn't matter one way or another. Due to IRL situations, I am forfeiting this match.
