So... Instead of having MORE Gaia time when school let out, I seem to be on less and less. That's most likely because my music obsession has reached new heights and has essentially consumed my life. I have like four or five concerts that I'm going to next two months, and several CDs I have countdowns going on for. I went to an AMAZING concert late last month, with Forever the Sickest Kids/The Cab/The Maine/Danger Radio/Metro Station. <333 I'd recommend checking all of them out if you haven't already (well.... minus Metro Station; they're just okay).

Concerts that I have tickets for, in case anyone cares:
7/3: Warped Tour
7/13: Cute is What We Aim For, Powerspace, Danger Radio, Ace Enders
7/25: The Maine, Good Charlotte
8/11: The Hush Sound, The Cab, Steel Train, The Morning Light

And there's apparently going to be a tour with All Time Low and The Maine sometime this fall. And a Forever The Sickest Kids/Cobra Starship/Hit the Lights tour has also been confirmed. And I think The Academy Is... is touring after their Australia tour and CD release.

On July 8th, two albums are coming out that I'm really excited for:
Danger Radio - "Used and Abused"
The Maine - "Can't Stop, Won't Stop"

Edit: Because I have to brag about it somewhere, I finally have Alive 1997 (Daft Punk's first live album) on my iPod. I'd been looking EVERYWHERE for it and was talking to this kid I know about it, and he texted me the next day saying he'd found an old cassette tape of it at his house and was in the process of uploading it. I just finished listening to it all the way through, and IT'S SO EPIC OMG.

THREE BANDS YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT IF YOU HAVE TIME
1. Forever the Sickest Kids - Catchy, fast-paced dance-pop. It's a lot like snorting crack and pixie stix at the same time while dancing at a rave.
2. The Maine - Pop-Rock, I guess. Identical combovers and outfits aside, they get stuck in your head really easily. I honestly think they'll get big this summer~
3. The Cab - I won't lie; The Cab basically sounds like a 90s boy band that Disney got to, and it's NOT a bad thing. In fact, it's REALLY AMAZING. <3

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. Every time I hear that one of the bands I like is coming into town, I pretty much spaz and start sucking up to my parents hardcore so that they'll buy tickets for me, especially when I think the concert will sell out pretty quickly. It's just like "I MAY NEVER HAVE THIS CHANCE AGAIN!~"

Not if I punch you first! JKJK BUT YES WE NEED TO START TALKING. Dan and Moo Ell do NOT understand my music. Well, I've partially converted Moo Ell to some of the music, but he's not nearly as enthusiastic as I am.

LOL@ME I haven't listened to Good Charlotte since those like...two songs on the radio a few years ago. I'm going to that concert for The Maine. <3333
And I don't know anything about Steel Train or The Morning Light. But The Hush Sound is great and OMG THE CAB. Aaaand I'm going to stop there because I'm not going to fangirl over The Cab in this thread. But I love them and they're great live.

And LOL@ME AGAIN because I downloaded that forever ago. The FTSK cover is okay, but OMG THE MAINE. I LOVE THEIR AKON COVER SO MUCH. Like... WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE. Not gonna lie, that whole abum is basically LOL in CD form.

The Hush Sound IS amazing. Don't Wake Me Up and Wine Red get stuck in my head ALL THE TIME.
