I feel you in a way, I had a friend that I was distant to for a while (because I'm a bit retarted when it comes to friendship and talking) and I lost this person's friendship in the end. I deeply regret it and I didn't have the guts to confront this person.
I think if you have any regrets (romance-relationship-wise), you should confront them and if theres nothing else you can do, then try to move on with your life. It may be hypocritical of me to give advice in that regard but I don't want you do anything you might regret or something that doesn't make you happy.
This may be off topic but if you really love someone, then you should learn to accept their faults too, and love them wholly even if they have faults. I'm not saying you shouldn't try to change someone for the better though. For example, someone who murders people coldbloodedly. If you can't love a person who murders people then you don't really love them. Although if you disagree with their actions and try to change them (and still you can love them even if they have big or small faults), then you love them. Of course everybody has faults. In my opinion.

Femm is right. Don't expect her to change for you.... likewise, she shouldn't expect you to change for her... My opinion is that perhaps both you should make small changes for each other.
And, I know it's the urban culture I grew up with and all, but it IS sorta offensive to girls when you refer to them as hoes. If you refer to this girl as a hoe, that tells her that you think of her in the same way you would any common woman... If you really care and love her, you need to make her fell like she's not common.... and don't forget the sincerity!
