The Battleground As both trainers step into stadium, the plasma screen blinked on and showed the spinning images of the different battle fields. It slows down to reveal
THE ELECTRIC FIELD
The center of battleground opened up and the electric field platform rose into the trainers' sights. The field is completely flat; no bumps or hills can be located. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field on each side are six electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These create a static discharge across the field and in the air itself for one reason: a metal piping that outlines the edges of the field floats several feet above the towers themselves, held up by the discharge. During the battle, the piping can release lightning at random points on the field due to the amount of buildup them possess. This ensures that your pokemon stay moving during throughout the entire battle.

Hayne was so excited about having another Pokemon battle. Swablu and he are still noobs to battling and any experience would be much appreciated. Having done with his little moment, Hayne took out Swablu's Pokeball and gave it a light kiss and threw it towards the battlefield. "Let's go Swablu!"
Swablu emerged from her Pokeball and flew around the electric field not liking it one bit.

Kayla gripped the platform railing as she stopped. The field suddenly changed into what look like a power house. Electrical wires and sparks were everywhere! She didn't like the idea of the possiblility of one of those setting off during a battle but she suppose it's no use worrying. Kayla and Quintrell will just have to deal with it when it comes.
As her eyes roamed the playing field, she caught the sight of another trainer. Hmm, Kayla pondered. First battle with a guy.
No sooner did he got onto the platform as well, he released his pokemon from its pokeball, which turned out to be a Swablu.
Interesting. This was the first time ever battling a Swablu. Getting an attack to be a direct hit will be much harder than her other battles but Kayla was confident that she and Quin will find a weak point.
"Alright! Let's get to it, Quin! Come on out!" Kayla shouted as she expanded her pokeball and tossed it into the battlefield. Bright green and red beams of light swirled out of the pokeball to form an eevee. Quin gave himself a little shake to get rid of the static electricity as he took a quick glance around before fixing his gaze at his opponent.
Kayla grinned a bit, knowing that Quin has a small little itch to start straightening his fur but both knew they had no time for that.

Hayne gave a little smirk when he saw the other trainer looking at him. So he’s egotistic, so what? It doesn’t really matter since the only female he true cares about is his cute little Swablu.
Hayne smiled before starting, “Okay Swablu, use peck!”

Kayla and Quintrell but watched carefully as the other trainer commanded Swablu to use Peck. Nothing to worry about this early in the game.
"Quin, dodge it and use Quick Attack!" Kayla exclaimed.
Quintrell started the attack but it seemed that being a flying pokemon, it gave her the advantage of height and managed to lay a few pecks onto Quin causing him to wince as it made contact.
As one of the pecks missed it's mark, Quin pounced up to meet Swablu and deliver the well-earned attack, hoping it makes contact.

The Eevee swiftly pounced onto Saige and bounced back, hitting her pretty badly. Saige stayed on the ground for a bit before lifting up her head, then her wing, then her other wing. Once the Swablu was up and flapping, Hayne’s only thought was payback time.
Hayne shouted, “Come on give that Eevee a taste of your Fury Attack!”
Saige flew down at Quintrell to deliver a couple of pecks.

Kayla had no desire to go through another series of pecks, even if it was a different move all together. She was sure Quin was quite annoyed by it. So there was only one option left and render Swablu from doing that again for a while.
"Dodge it again, Quin!" Kayla ordered.
Quin attempted to dodge again but it was very hard to do so with a flying pokemon. He managed to dodge a few of them but not all.
When the attacked stopped, he was slightly winded as he waited for his trainer's next command.
"Let's take Swablu to La-la-land! Use Yawn!" Kayla shouted.
The eevee opened its mouth and gave a loud, long yawn that emitted a wave of...something...that cause a pokemon to sleep because of it. Kayla hoped that it was effective.

Hayne felt super lucky that the Yawn missed. He’d be in deep trouble if the attack landed and well Swablu would be landing on the floor asleep too. Hayne couldn’t help but feel that was such a cold attack; His little Swablu asleep while being attacked relentlessly.
“Alright Swablu, let’s return the favor and give them a cold attack too. Use Ice Beam!” Hayne shouted.
A light blue ball forms at Swablu’s open beak. And as Swablu swooped down towards the Eevee, light blue beams are then released out of her beak.

Swablu was preparing for an Ice Beam and that could easily do alot of damage. They need to get out of the way and fast!
"Dodge it, Quin and use Iron Tail!" Kayla ordered.
When the ice beam was released, Quin stayed put until it was almost too late before he jumped up as high as possible towards Swablu as his tail started to change to a silvery metalic color.
Quin had jumped high enough to bypass Swablu in the sky but before he started to descend, Quin did a mid-air flip and aimed his tail at Swablu.

Aww, darn. A miss. And that iron tail Quin gave was quite flawless Hayne thought. His Swablu knocked down, got back up on her feet.
"Swablu try using Ice Beam again!" Hayne ordered.
Again a light blue ball forms at Swablu’s open beak. Flying towards at the Eevee, the light blue beams are released.

The moment Quin planted his paws onto the ground, the Swablu launched another Ice Beam attack and poor Quin didn't manage to escape it this time.
With that powerful blast of ice, the eevee was flung all the way to the otherside of the field and tumbled to a stop.
Panting and slight tremer of the legs, Quin got up to his paws and glued his eyes on the fluffy bird.
"Use Swift!"
Quin ran towards the swablue's general direction as his tail started to glow a yellow-orange color. With one sweep of his tail, it released a shower of stars at the fluffy blue bird.

Swablu slammed into the flat floor of the electric field. Her bird body on the floor. While Quin landed on his paws. After a couple of seconds, Swablu got back on her feet and stretched out her wings. Hayne grinned, that’s his Saige.
“Use Steel Wing this time Swablu!” Hayne shouted to the ascending Swablu.
Both of her wings started glowing white and Swablu flew down towards the Eevee, hopefully slamming her right wing into him.

Saige was coming straight for Quin after taking a direct hit with that swift attack. It was quite surpirsing that the little bird had so much determination. Any trainer can appreicate that.
Quin already know what Kayla wanted him to do but it was a bit too late when he tried to dodge the attack, which sent him tumbling backwards several yards.
Getting up slowly, panting and slightly trembling, Quintrell waited for his next intrustions.
"We can do this, Quin! Use Quick Attack again!"
Crying out, Quin dashed at Saige. Going here and there as he came closer to the swablu. He lept at the little bird, hoping to make contact.Quote: [Swift, Iron Tail, Yawn, Quick Attack] 300/800
