It was a nice, cloudless day in Katarina, the streets filled with trainers and pokemon alike! Whether it was to sell goods or buy them, every one seemed to be getting a long and enjoying their day, just how it should be, really. Those who didn't want to get along were dealt with by the police. Yes, a wonderful day indeed!
So why in the world did she feel so blasted miserable?! Head hung, causing dark strawberry blonde to fall into her face and make her sigh in frustration, magenta eyes narrowed. Shoving a hand into her back, she pulled out a hair tie and pulled back her hair to keep it out of her way. Oh, she knew why she was miserable! The pokemon center had been WAY over crowded the last few nights, making it hard to sleep. On top of that, she was low on cash until her sister could send her some and had to survive on was trailmix and water. She was hungry, tired and just a little bit lonely. But her only friends were off doing their own things.
Which was fine, she wanted them to their own things, not have to be forced to have her follow around like a lost puppy! But she was lonely... And what sucked even more was-! She had such a hard time talking to people. Kicking a pebble, she flopped down on a bench with a sigh. Today sucked.

Over by the water's edge, a boy happily threw a few bits of his sandwich into the water for the Magikarp, watching as a couple happily came to the surface to eat. One however spit out it's piece and glared up at him.
"Hm?" he lent over the walkway's railing a bit. "What's the matter, buddy? Didn't like it?" he chuckled. The Magikarp continued to glare at him. Thinking it would sate the fish to get a better piece of sandwich, he threw it another piece. However, his aim was a bit off this time, the bit of sandwich hitting the Magikarp on the head.
Fed up, the Magikarp seemed to come to a decision and started to glow. The boy found himself staring into the face of a newly evolved Gyarados.
"Uh... uh... I didn't mean it! I'm sorry!" he apologized while flailing.
The Gyarados wouldn't have it and roared angrily, sending the boy scurrying away. "I'm sorry!"

Hearing a commotion, Aimi got up to see what was going on. She thought she heard a shout but wasn't sure. Well, that was until she found a boy about her age heading her way and she blunk rapidly. What in the world had she just missed? "Uh..." she held out a hand to stop him.

Skidding to a halt so he wouldn't hit her, Kader wondered just what she needed if she felt the need to stop him while he was trying to not get eaten by the angry Gyarados.
"It's gonna eat me!" he wailed, moving to jump behind her. He hadn't done anything wrong! He'd only been feeding the Magikarp.

She rolled her eyes, this guy didn't seem very brave. Staring ahead to find a pissed of Gyarados, Aimi could only sigh and wonder what it was he had done wrong. "I doubt it will eat you, at least not yet. Mind telling me what you did to piss off the big guy?"

Her words weren't inspiring any sort of confidence in his hoping to live. That Magikarp had gone from cute to killer in two seconds flat. All over a few scraps of sandwich!
"I'd only been tossing them a few scraps of sandwich. I didn't mean for that last piece to accidentally hit it!"
It wasn't his fault it didn't like sandwiches! The thing's friends liked them well enough!

She raised an eyebrow, glancing at him. "What kind of sandwich were you feeding it?" Normally most Magikarp didn't care what you fed it as long as it was food.

"It had been a tuna sandwich, I'd saved the crust for the Magikarps." he explained, keeping his eyes on the pissed Gyarados.
There was just something about Magikarp that freaked him out. He'd never had a freaky encounter with the water pokemon, had never been traumatized by the thing either. It just didn't make sense why he was so squeamish about Magikarp.
The Gyarados snorted, hoping the girl would drag him over so he wouldn't have to work to get to the boy.

Ah, that made sense. The Magikarp must of had a taste of tuna and decided it didn't like the taste of relations. Damn that was one smart Magikarp. Or... Had been, as it was no longer the pre-evolution. Hm, well something had to be done to sort this mess out. With a nod to herself, she grabbed his hand and dragged him over. If that dragon even THOUGHT of eating the boy, she'd make sure it knew she was the daughter of a pokemon breeder.

Blinking, Kader found himself in motion. However, it wasn't away from the angry dragon pokemon, it was towards it.
"Ack!" he managed to choke out, trying to pull away.
She was gonna help the Gyarados eat him! Did everyone around here hate sandwiches?!

She turned around and set upon him a glare that warned she would feed him to it if he didn't relax. Honestly, she was trying to help and he was being a large scaredy persian! Standing a few feet away from the Gyarados now, she fixed upon him a stare, hands on her hips. "You, boy," she semi-ordered as she glanced back at him briefly. "Apologize to the pokemon, please?"

At her glare, Kader found himself not so scared of the Gyarados anymore. He half wondered if she were part dragon type. However, he was glad to hear her ask him to apologize and not demand he step into it's open mouth.
"I'm sorry!" he apologized, even bowing to the large pokemon to show just how sorry he was.
Step one to not getting eaten? Appease the creature. Step two? Get away when it wasn't looking.

Nodding in satisfaction, she'd apologize to the boy when this was dealt with, she turned to fix that same stare to the Gyarados. "And now what do you have to say for yourself, hm?" She knew it couldn't talk, but damn if it couldn't understand her. "He said he was sorry, he didn't realize there had been some tuna left on the sandwich and he obviously didn't mean to hit you in the head. I think you need to give him some sort of apology as well."

The dragon type had looked pleased at the apology, then it looked a bit shocked that she should demand he apologize as well.
"Gyaaaa~!" it snorted, not as easily cowed by her glare as the boy was.
Kader had actually taken a few steps back, watching the situation carefully. Please don't let the dragon eat her... I don't want this to escalate.

her hands flew to her hips and fixed it with a harder stare, not showing any fear to the thing. Her dad always said to make sure to show no fear. Nine times out of ten the pokemon knew when to back down. She could only hope it worked the same. ""What you did was COMPLETELY uncalled for! There was no need to get angry at a small mistake, no matter how inferior you think we are!" Her glare darkened some. "Now. Apologize."
