I know I haven't done an intro yet, I may after I get the answer to my question.
What I wanted to know was is this a role playing guild? I was looking around and reading things that are posted here. I saw that the guild was spawned from a role playing thread on another guild(?) that was popular. I've also read some other info that has me confused though, about how the guild is for role playing too but is also for real vampires?

I am not a "crew member" or the admin or anyone important but this guild seems to me like a rolepalying guild. there have been a few RP threads the popped up aside from the main one. you make a char by posting a format suh as
gaianame:
rpname:
age:
etc
so you yourself are not just that char unless you want to. we would like to know about you as a real person and get to know your characters well also. your chars could be hated but you, loved! its not all just rp-ing like the chatterbox sub-forum. its a little slow in there though because most people just stick to their rp-ing thread so people like me get a little lonely just postin in there. Most people here are friendly the others who arent are very friendly biggrin . I would just like to say one thing though, have a sense of humor and take things witha grain of salt. dont worry about people on the internet for they dont really know you and you can just ignore them here. For me if i offend you state so in a kind manner and i will stop or talk to you to find out why I offended you. i dont like to piss people off unless they dishonour me in some shape, way, or form.
so about the huge block but i ramble on....bad at writing genius in math: my curse. the last line in your post i think is stating that this guild is for people who like to rp as vampires/think they are vampires/want to be/like to hang out with vampires/like the dark. do not take my post as an offical response but i hoped it helped. send a pm or post here if you have more questions and if you dont want me to reply just say "sorry but this isnt towards you, Dart" rofl

thanks for the reply Dart, i apprciate it. I would still like to be fully sure and hopefully a crewmember will come and help out.
I've only ever rped once as a vampire, but the game ended before it hardly begain, so i usually don't. still have my character sheet and everything because it never really got used. lol.

If you have any questions vicklyn (the maker of thread and guild) would be happy to help Im sure. She's looking for new people right now so Im sure she could answer any question better then any other member. I was a member of the original rp when it was back in the forums, so I'd like to think I could answer your question too but like I said vicklyn will be able to give you a forsure answer.
In then end most of the people are vampires but their was someone who played a human a long time ago and just stumbled upon the manshion. You could always do something like that, or play a vampire. I dont know if your character sheet will match up with the one needed by this guild but you can always check it out and just copy and paste what is the same and add or change what will be needed.
As for rping as a vampire it truly isn't that hard, just think about it as a human with fangs, some nice powers, and who needs blood. The personalities of such people vary from person to person. So you dont have to dwell on the fact that you haven't ever played a vampire, everyone will help you through it.

It was actually just an RP I had started in the Gaian Neghborhood, it got so successful that I decided to make a guild out of it. And I'm not claiming to be a vampire or anything, but if you are, hey more power to ya, I just liked the idea (I thought it was going to die out pretty quick though). Umm but we have other roleplays in the RP subforum if the original one isn't your thing, and you could really make your character anything, even a squirell with laser eyes for all I care. Just have fun and do things your way, I'm not all that strict with things here, just post your profile in the Character Introductions thread in the Roleplay subforum and go from there 4laugh

Oh I don't think I would have any issues with playing a vampire as I acctually am one. That was the reason for my questions to tellt he truth. I don't normally join rp guilds or forums that are for vampires for that very reason. It reassures the people on the forums I'm a member of and help to mod, that I'm not all fluffy and such. Thank you vickilyn for comming in here and answering my threads. Right now I think I'll stick around for a bit and see how things go. Feel it out so to speak. I'm not sure if I'll join into the role playing though, that's basically what I'm feeling out.

Hi there im a crew member Dave and if you haven't guessed i'm a were-wolf, like inu-chick 316 said its easy althogh im a were-wolf i still RP like a human But i think about were-wolfs, there nature, hunger i also take into effect that they have tails ETC then i just throw that in, for a Vampire there a bit more sly, cunnig and elagent so you could just add those things into your text.

By the way i'm not really a were-wolf but im always told i have the attitude and anger of one.......but i try to keep my temper sweatdrop

I like how Dave rolls. Screw being a vampire! Its cool and all but everyone else is and it’s hard to have conflict, which keeps people around longer. Makes the thread exciting so I went human, even though I am not. Of course I’m buying into the humanistic idea that even though we are different from all the other species of the universe we are still strong and will endure everything!

Halfbreeds bring conflict as well. at least with some of the more prejudiced vamps and lycanthropes. )note~ Lycanthropes refers to all were beings. not just wolves.(

hah hah every time i see "were" without a word attached to it i dont say "where" i say "were" and i get confused. after i read the sentence saying "what the ******** is wrong with this?" i pull a truffle and *head desk*

smurf yesh you are! and SHHHH about the crew thingy! admitting to it means i have to act more like one or that i have powahs! i dont want to admit i have powahs or i might abuse them >.> lookin at truffle in the cb on that one.
