Just answer the questions of the in-depth quiz and see where it takes you. Remember, you may be surprised by the results, but this quiz in no way dictates truly what your type is. You have to keep in mind that there is a margin of error involved in any test. Listen to your inner voice. I did this test and surprisingly it said I was a bear. which makes a bit of since to me. I hadent really considered bear before. and to tell you the truth would rather not be lol I never really had a connection to one... but seeing as im not quite sure what I am i guess its passable. the other possibility was wolf but who knows? lol

Well it is possible to have more than one phenotype. The test is also not 100% accurate...it's mostly a suggestion. With something as personal as this, you mostly have to go with your gut.

Quizzes are a nifty place to start a search for a theriotype, or to do for fun, but I wouldn't put any sort of faith into them what-so ever. quizzes are limited by the person who creates them. I mean, sure, if there was a quiz out there that had every single animal programmed into it, well... for one, that would be freaking amazing. But don't assume just because a quiz told you that you're a sperm whale that you're a sperm whale. After all, this quiz may not have shark, salmon, sting ray, or duck programmed into it, and can cause people to go chasing after something that doesn't fit.
The real value in these quizzes is the questions. Not the answers you're given in the end. They get you thinking about your potential theriotype and force you to look inside of yourself. As well, quizzes often bring up points that a person may not have considered in their 'soul serching' - or whatever form of searching you prefer.
My favourite site for finding myself was wikipedia. A ton of short blurbs on every different animal with links to more indepth sites was exactly what I needed. So, once the quiz gets you thinking, move on to an informative site and see what you can discover.

I've done a lot of research hoping to help others out, and as far as quizzes go this one is pretty in-depth, covering everything from fish to insects and birds to mammals. It's not surefire but it's pretty fun whee

I fit in with the domesticated dog and wolf. neither one described me best. but i asked my spirit guide (yes I'm physic, well everyone is. if you want more info on spirit guide, pm me, I can help some. Keep in mind I am no expert.) and he said wolf. I've always know that somewhere deep down anyway. Though as a kid i walked on the balls of my feet like a fox. It was natural to me. lol but that is my only tie to the fox.

Oh yeah, I remember this! this was ShadowMyst's thing that she made long ago....
You know, me and her now think that it's not very good of an indicator because, quite frankly, Therianthropy is a personal and individual thing and other people can't really tell you about something that is individual to you. That, and she never really finished or perfected this, it's just a sloppy prototype. Personally, I think it wouldn't work at all because, well, the questions dance around on the surface, they don't go into the real truth of therianthropy, which is not a personality thing.
And Grian, I'm sure everyone here knows about Totems and Spirit Guides.

I've had a few friends do the test, but they all had pretty much of an idea what they were in the first place. I'm thinking about probably deleting this thread...
Spirit guides are pretty cool. I have two - one wolf and one an arctic fox. They both represent very different things, and when I make contact I get whichever one I need more for the task. I was pretty much raised around Cherokee, Navajo and Lakota Sioux so a lot of my connection stems from that.
