PLOT THREAD HAS MOVED HERE!!Please note: Roniel is having a very busy semester and though she loves to plot and RP with her soqs, everything is going to be a bit sluggish.  Welcome to my corner of the plotting forum! The thread is pretty straight forward. My soquili are listed by groupings and with their personalties and information on availability of plots and breeding. Here are some various things to remember while in my plot thread! 1. Feel free to contact me by either PM or posting in the thread. 2. If a soquili is not available for breeding or plots, please don't ask about them! 3. Please don't be offended if I choose not to accept a request for RP/plots/mating. Whether it is an issue of time, availability, or compatibility, I'm not looking to upset anyone! 4. Da... don't be a jerk? And... if you don't like Roniel plots... you can always check out Roniel quests instead!

~~ The Lotus Blessed ~~
Compassion and kindness run throughout the family blessed by the lotus blossoms and sometimes a sense of adventure as well. These soquili would be best suited in plots assisting someone in need of help or advice.
MEGAPLOT IS HERE!
More mega than usual, anyways! And the plot is still being formed, so it may change around some.
The plot:
Bodhisattva is out with her father Nirvana. They are confronted by a soquili of evil character who attacks them. The evil soquili manage to knock senseless/fend off Nirvana while taking Bodhi captive. Nirvana wakes up and has no idea where they went or how to find his daughter and goes to hi father, Karma, desperate for advice. Karma then goes to the matriarch and patriarch of their family, Scythe and Vara, for advice and assistance.
Scythe, along with whoever else in the family that wishes to accompany him, goes out in search of Bodhi and her captor. They find him, defeat him, and rescue Bodhi.
Ooooooor... there could be an alternate ending. Caring souls do tend to run in the family and it is possible, though unlikely, that Bodhi might come to feel something for her captor. Of course, if they were just senselessly cruel and unpleasant to her she wouldn't. It is unlikely, but through ome combination of depth of character (and perhaps a bit of Stockholm's syndrome) Bodhi could come to sympathize with her captor and dramatically attempt to stop Scythe from fighting/hurting/killing him at the end.
Afterwards, in an attempt to knit back the family together after the damaging experience and to prevent any other such occurrences from happening again, Vara would form what family members agreed to it into a herd with herself as matriarch and Scythe as protector.
Players needed:
- An aggressor/captor: Some soquili capable of doing ome damage and wanting to. He/she'd have to capture Bodhi... for whatever purposes you feel would go best with their character. I DON'T WANT RAPE so... if they were motivated by that they'd have to hold themselves back for whatever reason. Note that if you would want to explore the plot that Bodhi might develop feelings for her captor you would have to give it some serious discussion with me. I am not going to force her emotions to somewhere I don't feel they'd go.
-Family members that might want to get involved: Have a family member? Want to get involved? Throw me a line!
-Other people that might want to get involved: Er... I don't have any brilliant ideas right now.. but if you're desperate about wanting to be involved we could try to work you in!

~ Avalokiteshvara ~
Personality: Vara is a very kind soquili by nature. She tries to help those she finds in need of help and sometimes tries to help even those who may not need it so much. She has a good sense of humor at some of the world's complications which sometimes shows itself as a sense of irony in her words. She'd like to assume that everyone she meets is kind and gentle but reality has shown her otherwise too many times for her to rely on that.
History: Vara journeyed to the Kawani lands from a place far in the east. It pained her to leave behind her family but she felt drawn away by the desire to help others. This was her single goal and mission, to help others. She wouldn't stay long in one place and instead moved and traveled to best see where her assistance would be needed. It was fulfilling but at the same time filled her with a great loneliness, since she remained with no one person for very long.
That changed when she met the kalona that would become Haya's father. She thought that she could help him and tried her best... but he left her pregnant and alone again. When the foals were born she lost one of the baskets but poured her grief and regret from that into raising her remaining son, Hayagriva. She cared for him and taught him to resist the violent calls of his kalona heritage and when he grew to adulthood she took to wandering once more.
In these wanderings s he met Scythe. A first meeting led to a second which led to an eventual lifemating. With him she had another six children which she would adore just as much as her first. Now she has decided that she has given enough new life to the world and that she will enjoy her grandchildren instead of having more children of her own. She couldn't be happier with Scythe and her family coming and going around her.

Plots: Perhaps! I don't have anything in mind for her but if you need a kind and altruistic mare with a motherly streak for anything... feel free to ask about it! Vara would gladly help anyone in need, even those of more evil persuasions.

~ Karma ~
Personality: Karma is dispassionate, quiet, and distant. Only the most pressing of circumstances can make him any shade of emotional as his stoicism is too strong for him to react to much anything else. Though he is unemotional he isn't uncaring. Karma feels compassion for the people he meets and befriends but in a subtle and quiet manner.
Karma greatly enjoys knowing how the world works as his detached nature makes understanding some parts very difficult. Since he doesn't understand why many soquili act the way they do he'll patiently listen to them talk for a long time while he tries to decipher them.
History: Karma spent much of his foalhood misunderstanding what was going around him. His quiet and detached nature left him with few friendships and made his relationship with his family more difficult as well. He grew more socially aware as an adult and the detachedness turned into more of a contemplative spirit. After a discussion with his father he became determined to find an angeni to ask them the secret of their flight powers. This journey led him to the angeni Articuno. He was filled with awe upon seeing her and their meeting resulted in the birth of their two children, Nirvana and Moani. They raised the children together as a family and separated peaceably afterwards.
The experience of being a father changed Karma for the better. He became a more open person for it and finally learned to accept and understand his own emotions and the emotions of others. Now he enjoys spending time with his family in between wondering what is next in his life.

~ Nirvana ~
Personality: Nirvana is free spirited at heart. He tends not to let things bother him unless they are a danger to himself or the ones that he cares about. He gives his heart freely but doesn't let those feelings bind him. He can be a little spacey and distant at times, sometimes even nonsensical. He has a very amiable bearing to those that he meets, even the ones that are less than friendly.
History: Nirvana enjoyed a happy childhood with his parents and his sister. Though he was the only one in the family without wings he did not let it bother him. He took this positive and laid back attitude about most of his life and still does into his adulthood. When he became an adult he left his mother and his sister with his father but then separated off from him to enjoy the freedoms of being grown. He explored the Kawani lands quite cheerfully until he met a certain mare named Symphony. This mare struck him more than the others and so he was very happy when he found her again....

RP: If it's associated with the plot, sure! If not... he has enough others so doesn't need any more currently.
Plots:
- Needed: Soquili of a darker character. Male or female. Nirvana is very trusting and accepting of all sorts of soquili... which is something I think it'd be interesting to see taken advantage of. I'd like him to meet a soquili of a darker more evil character but that would for whatever reason want to initially make a good impression. The idea is that Nirvana would talk to this soquili and befriend them only to be stabbed in the back by them, or catch them in the act of doing something evil. It would make Nirvana have to rethink his life philosophy and result in some really interesting character changes for him!

~ Padmasambhava ~
Personality: Padma is an emotional mare. She is prone to bouts of bitter jealousy that leave her unsociable and unfriendly to others. She enjoys the company of other soquili but has a hard time not being judgmental of their faults. She tends to assume that others are just as judgmental as she is and, as a result, she spends much time in insecure self-evaluation. These insecurities sometimes cause her to behave arrogantly to attempt to hide them. When she isn't caught up in her own inner workings she can be a very charismatic mare, but oftentimes it is one of her other traits that shows more dominantly.

Plots:
- Needed: Winged male or female. I'm looking for a winged soquili for Padma to get into a sort of love/hate relationship with. She is intensely jealous of winged soquili and would be of others that she met. I'd like one that she would be friends with and enjoy the personality of... but when they are gone she is filled with envy. It would create a real duality in her as she struggled to accept her friend even if they have something she desperately longs for. The friend would most likely find out about this while knowing Padma... and how they respond is up to you! The winged friend can be male or female and could hypothetically lead to something romantic... but not necessarily.
- Needed: A pretty male to be her eye-candy boyfriend. Though Padma is in no way mature enough to settle down she is at the age that she'd enjoy some male attention. I'd like to find a boyfriend for her but not necessarily breed the two of them. I think she'd just enjoy a first romance. Since she lacks a lot of maturity she'd be mostly looking for a male with a good appearance. Good personality not necessary!
Note: It's a possibility that she'd eventually breed with her boyfriend but I'm looking more for a maturation opportunity than a breeding one!

~ Bodhisattva ~
Personality: Bodhisattva is vain and self-absorbed but in a way that doesn't cause her to be judgmental or cruel to others. She loves to be the center of attention and loves to be in groups, or socializing on a more personal and private scale. She doesn't do well alone for a long time and tends to get bored and lonely when long without company. She loves to fly and sing and has a great love for any sort of beauty. She still lacks a lot of maturity and it is quite possible for her to become less self-absorbed with time. Whether this will actually happen is still yet to be seen!

~~ The Kalona-Tainted ~~
Descended from the lotus but tainted by kalona blood, these soquili are the confused and the cursed. They might have good intentions but within them is a creature with sharp teeth. To unleash these urges or to repress them and live the life of a normal soquili, these are the choices these ones must face.
They are not evil or cruel enough to fulfill the role of tormentors in plots but the occasional temper flare-ups can be dangerous.
~ Hayagriva ~
Personality: Hayagriva is a conflicted soquili. He has a very fun-loving nature and enjoys roughhousing and playing tricks. He loves to meet new people, do new things, and have new adventures. From his mother he has learned to help people and will do so if he sees a soquili truly in need. Unlike his mother, though, he does not intentionally seek out those that need it.
The other side of his personality is one that is a combination of his kalona blood and the reactions that he's gotten for it. He can withdraw his cheerfulness and become cold, unforgiving, and angry. He is prone to explosive rage under the right conditions and is likely to hold a grudge against the one who inspired it.
History: Hayagriva was raised lovingly by his mother Vara. As a colt he was rambunctious and her supervision often chafed, leading to escapes in the forest. On one of these escapes he met the unicorn Vis who would become one of his closest friends in adulthood. Haya's kalona blood only showed itself in small spurts as a foal. His occasional explosions of temper were usually brief and not dangerous. They were not a problem as an adult either... until he met the kalona Domnu.
For the first time Haya truly lost himself to rage and bloodlust. They fought and it ended with Haya running. That encounter taught him more about himself than he had wanted to know. In the streak of dark moods and brooding that followed he met Ayanna and she became pregnant shortly thereafter. Distracted from his black thoughts, Haya tried his best to prepare himself for fatherhood and to be useful to Ayanna. When the foals were born he found a new joy in fatherhood, though one filly was taken in by a mare who was a friend of his, Mapiya.
This time was a happy one until he discovered Adour, the daughter living with another, hunting for animal flesh. He was consumed with horror that she would embrace her kalona heritage and anger that her caretaker would allow and encourage this. In this mix of emotions he lost his temper at Adour and lost her when she flew away from him. He ran to Mapiya and demanded an explanation and stormed off in a rage thereafter. This rage would turn to grief when he learned of Adour's apparent death. He will never forgive Mapiya for "leading astray" his daughter and will never forgive himself for being the source of the violence in her blood and for leaving her to be raised by someone else.

Plots: Haya has some good plots already coming in his future, so he doesn't really need any more.

~ Samsara ~
Personality: Currently, Samsara is an almost normal foal. She is quiet around strangers but warms up into friendly playfulness once she's more comfortable. She prefers staying by her parents to adventuring but with the right companion would become more brave.
However, due to her heritage that mixed both unicorn and kalona bloodlines, all is not as well as it might seem. Though it hasn't surfaced much yet, soon these two bloodlines will begin to clash more in Samsara's personality. They will cause her to become emotional and moody... and more than a little disquiet as she wonders what the fate of her conflicted mind will be.

~~ The Wandering Warrior ~~
Caelin has endured much hardship and loneliness in his life after being separated from the one he truly cares about. Now he has been finally reunited with her and if anything, their love has awakened the warrior within even more. What will he do now that he has found what could be his happiness? 
~ Caelin ~
Personality: Caelin is soft spoken but has a quiet strength about him. He doesn't avoid other soquili but is introverted enough to not directly seek contact with strangers most of the time. Beyond his quiet exterior is a streak of bitter cynicism that emerges in occasional bad moods, often when he must stay in one place for longer than he'd like. Nevertheless, he is very brave and would throw his life on the line in an instant for someone he cared about. Recent interactions with Mapiya have brought back out some of his happier nature.
History: Caelin grew up in a large herd. As a foal he was surrounded by many but he only had eyes for one. It was Mapiya he loved and they spent many long and happy hours together. He dreamed that she would become his lifemate when they grew older... but that plan was thwarted by the intervention of her father. He convinced Caelin that Mapiya had been toying with his affections and that it would be best for all of them if he would leave. Without saying good bye to his love the heartbroken Caelin left to become an adult alone in the wilderness.
On his own he became a wanderer. When he stayed in one spot for too long he would become all too aware of his empty and aching heart. Because of this, Caelin never let himself stray from his wandering path and journeyed alone in the earliest years of adulthood.
Then he found Mapiya again. Their reunion was far from idyllic and they both were angry at each other for perceived betrayal and abandonment. In their encounter they realized that it was Mapiya's father who had orchestrated their separation and knowing that they slowly began to forgive one another. Presently Caelin is staying with Mapiya and her herd and has been finally learning to trust and love once more.

Treated as nobility in her youth but now alone and far from home, Mittrei is an interesting sort. More motivated by a sense of self than good, she could be an interesting player in plots requiring those who are self-serving with ambiguous moralities... 
~ Mittrei ~
Personality: Mittrei is irreverent with a strong sense of humor and irony that often is at the expense of someone else. To those other than her family she can seem arrogant and self centered with a sharp tongue. Her sense of superiority tends to keep her emotionally distant from other soquili but she is capable of caring deeply for someone she feels is worthwhile.... not that achieving that status is an easy task. While she enjoys and guards her privacy she also gets bored after being alone for too long and will then seek out company.
History: Mittrei was born upon an island to a herd of soquili with butterfly-like markings. She was born the one flutter from a long line of normals, an awakening of a bloodline that had long been dormant. As the one flutter in a herd of butterfly-patterned soquili she was treated like a princess and lacked for nothing as she was growing up.
The older she got the more the constant attention chafed. When skinwalkers began to harass the island the attention she was receiving combined with the fear and uncertainty from the skinwalker became more than she could stand. Mittrei boldly and dangerously left the island for the mainland and became established there. She has recently discovered that more of her family made the trip to the mainland and enjoys their company. She still mostly lives alone but it is out of preference. After the constant scrutiny as a filly she enjoys the freedom of living on her own.
Looking for:

Plots: Needed: A savior, male or female. And maybe an aggressor /bad guy for the encounter? I'd like someone who sees Mittrei in a moment of weakness in the face of danger and is able to help her out of it. This would knock her down a peg or two and help her to realize that she cannot always rely on herself alone. I don't have a specific idea for the danger. It could be a variety of things that being a small flutter would put her at a disadvantage. Maybe she is being attacked by one of the meaner breeds of soquili... or is trapped somewhere... who knows! The nature of the event will depend on whether I can find an aggressor or not. I'm not really looking for this to become romantic... more something that might turn into a lasting friendship.
Mate: Currently looking! She'd personally prefer a flutter... or someone just as arrogant as she is who can convince her that they're worth it even without being a flutter! Open to other suggestions, though!

Sometimes it's tough being an usdia.... other times it's great fun! Fun or not, they are what they are and can have just as big adventures as their larger counterparts. Need someone small for a large plot? Look no further! 
~ Ostara ~
Personality: Ostara is talkative and opinionated. She loves to expound upon things and also loves to just chit chat cheerfully. She's very friendly and outgoing but doesn't always have a good notion of when she is being too overbearing for more quiet personalities.

Plots:
- It might be fun for Ostara to befriend a foal. I'd like if she could befriend that foal and keep being their friend as they grow so she's friends with a fully grown adult soquili sometime.
- Needed: Two soquili of any gender and type! It also could be interesting if Ostara's talkative habits got her in trouble. I'd like if she could befriend one soquili.... and then essentially talk behind their back to another. She wouldn't mean badly by it but perhaps she spills a secret she wasn't supposed to. The second soquili would either tell the first about it or already know the first and know Ostara wasn't supposed to be telling. Either way.. she'd be getting herself in trouble!
She is also available for other plottings! Ask away!

~ Rennigan ~
Personality: Rennigan is quiet and withdrawn, preferring to keep the stronger of her emotions to herself rather than let them show. Since she holds herself back when talking with other soquili she can sometimes come off as cold and distant. Beneath her reservation there is a sad and somewhat insecure mare who longs to be accepted but lacks the optimism to seek it.
History: Rennigan was the last child of a family that had strained to it's breaking point. Her mother and her mate had long since lost what love they had for each other but they stayed together out of habit and obligation. Her mother, desperately wishing for some of the love she felt when she first became mated, found a stranger that made her feel wanted for a night and bred with him.
When the one filly was born of this coupling, Rennigan's mother's mate was not fooled by her insistences that he was the father. He recognized the golden flowers upon her legs as markings from another stallion and knew that Rennigan could not be his own. Still, out of habit and obligation they stayed together and raised the filly. Rennigan grew under the sadness of her mother and the cold disapproval of her father and learned to close herself off from the world then.
With her growth to adulthood their family broke apart completely. No longer having a child to keep them together her mother and "father" split apart. Rennigan had no wish to stay with them and the constant reminder of the pain of her childhood so she left alone into the world.

- Needed: Parental male or female. I'm looking for someone, male or female, to be a parental figure for Rennigan. Perhaps they are someone who is perceptive enough to see to her inner pain and want to try to help her or perhaps they're simply friendly enough to not be put off by her cold demeanor. I'd like them to be someone who could teach her to be a little more trusting and open without demanding much in return, including romance. Ideally I'd like some sort of very close non-romantic bond to be formed between Rennigan and this soquili.
Mate: LOOKING FOR A NON-RP BREEDING! Ren's co-owner gets rights for the first breeding and she is looking for a non-RP partner for her. If you have a stallion you would like to offer up for that you can either PM her directly (Stormbreaker7) or PM me and I'll pass along the word. ^^ I'm willing to work with a hypothetical OOC breeding to make it a bit more "official"... but it's in no way a requirement.
