i've seen where people have dollfies and dress them up in lolita. dose this mean that they are apart of it? im new to all of this, so pardon the question if it seems funny.

Dollfies aren't really a part of lolita, though the two are closely linked due to shared aesthetics. A few brands have done collaborations with doll-makers in the past, as well, and many Dollfie stylists create replicas of lolita brands for dolls to wear.
However, having a Dollfie won't make you a better lolita just like being a lolita won't make you a better Dollfie owner. Saying that having a Dollfie dressed in lolita makes them part of the fashion is like saying that dressing a Barbie in lolita makes her part of the fashion. Make sense?
Personally, they kind of creep me out. ^^;
Both hobbies are also very expensive, so it's difficult to do both and do both well. More often than not, one of you ends up looking far better dressed than the other.

Yay! I'm not the only one! When I first saw pictures of them, all I could think of was their eyes following you from across the room. 0-o

Oh, pictures are fine. It's just the whole "MY DOLL IS NAMED SO-AND-SO AND SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND!" attitude a lot of Dollfie owners have. Some of these people think their dolls are actually alive, actually have souls, and actually are real people.
I always get a bit creeped out when role-play goes a bit too far.
My friend's doll, though, is quite fine with me. She just stays in her little coffin-shaped carry box unless Jessie wants to take her out for some reason. The dolls are quite cute and interesting to look at, they also make nice props for photos or accessories for outfits. I just get a bit skeeved out when someone tells me that their doll is in love with so-and-so's doll and they're going to make little babies. o_o;

teehee I own a dollfie sweatdrop
Carring a dollfie around while wearing lolita is just another accesory. Like a decorated handbag or stuffed animal heart
And I always dress him in a matching outfit, because he'd be a very bad accessory if we clashed, it would kind of defeat the point! D:
