His nostrils flared as he landed from a much-too-long flight, and he raggedly shook his body out, since he hated using that much energy at one time. Temptation usually liked flying but it was rather windy for the day, and he wondered if a storm would blow in later that evening. For the moment though, he found himself surrounded by trees and grass, and the predicament was a usual in his mind. The area around him looked rather dull but he supposed it would do for the time being. He found no appreciation for the landscape, especially since it held no mystery or jazz to it. How unfortunate nature was.. but maybe he could change that! When his usual boredom kicked in he started walking through the grove in a selfish manner. His hooves squashed flowers and plants, and his tail was slashing and leaving horrible marks in the grass. His chain dangled across the ground, causing grass to flatten and be cut. "I suppose I can make this area more interesting." he then said, with a delighted grin. Their were times when he loved to just destroy things, and it was a habit that was well taught from his father. The beauty around him was unjust and lame, and he would end it personally. Back and forth he walked, until finally he looked to see his own crazy creation. Plants and grass were now zigg-zagged and out of order, and Temptation could only laugh from such a sight. Everything was very flat and out of order and he had caused such a ruckus and so easily. He really loved that about himself. His mind was an odd and demanding one, but he had reasonings for all of his silly tactics. Nature needed to stand out and be something unique, and he had most certainly helped the grove now.

A black and white painted mare ambled quickly through the trees, her hooves quiet against the ground. It was summer now, a warm and humid season that contrasted the harsh and icy months of winter, which had kept many soquili cooped up within their teepees. However, despite the more suitable weather the mare had only managed to meet one soquili recently; and he was a stallion just as the only other soquili she really knew outside her family was. It was rather odd in her opinion that she hadn't made acquaintances with many soquili by this point, and it made her frown in a mixed feeling of worry. It was as if the rest of the soquili population was avoiding her; yet that was certainly not the most logical answer. Eury snorted and closed her eyes, her mind searching for any answer that might explain why, even though she wasn't antisocial, she was in this predicament.
When she opened her eyes once again she halted immediately, her mouth open and her blood red orbs wide with shock; her previous thoughts had dissipated from her head. Just ahead of her the grass was shredded, the long stems of flowers were pointing up into the air at random angles. She took a few tentatively steps closer, curious as to what could of caused such an upset in the usually serene grove that she often visited. Eury's eyes scanned back and forth, surveying the stretch of land that had obviously been destroyed by an outside force. Upon the second time that her eyes flowed back to the end of the strip she noticed a figure standing there, who also seemed to be studying the area.
She began moving towards the figure before her hooves paused and willed to go no further. The mare's eyes took in the features of the other and she noticed the leathery wings adorning their body, marking them unmistakably as a Kalona. She frowned, wondering if it was safe to grow any closer due to all the notorious rumors she had heard in regards to the species. However, her curiosity continued to increase every second and it had appeared as though the Kalona had been there before she had arrived. So if anyone knew what had happened then perhaps they would... The mare coughed loudly, sure that the other would be able to hear her. She then began to move towards them once more; or she would have if her hooves weren't fixed firmly in place, preventing her from approaching the Kalona.

It was shocking that he hadn't heard the mare approach him. His overall senses were usually hungry for any sign of female though his previous rage had probably overpowered his thought process. He had heard her cough quite loudly, and that fact alone was amusing in his mind. She didn't want to speak directly to him, and from that Temptation tried to pick up clues about her personality. Once he focused his crazed eyesight towards the smaller figure, he only grinned widely, since it appeared he had a play date for the day. What was the female thinking when she approached him? He was much scarier by breed, and much bigger then her even. Did she carry extra confidence or courage in her? He would have to find out.
"Now that you've made yourself known, what is it you want to say my dear?" His scary eyes continued to eye the specimen, and he noticed the flowers that lay neatly on the mare. A chuckle emitted from his throat suddenly, and he realized he had harmed some of her comrades! Although the mare carried flowers on her as well, Temptation was thankful in knowing that she didn't reek of flowers like the actual land did. Her smell was much lighter.. and a tad more mysterious. He hoped the pretty mare would cause him some measures of fun.
He strode forward a few steps, and quickly encircled the mare as elegantly as he could. There was no reason to scare her since that wasn't his style. It was too early in the game for those tactics, and the mysterious mare needed to explain herself first. He felt intoxicated as usual as he stared at her small features and coloring. His mother's ways always motivated him to be gentle to anything beautiful, and Succubus had taught him well in how to aggressively capture what he wanted. Though, her aggression was much different then Wrath's, and her seduction was what made Temptation completely amazed as a child. He wanted to be as successful as his mother, so he took things slow with the current project...
For all Temptation knew, his mother had captured Wrath twice, so she really was unbelievable in her skill. The second time Temptation was born, and now he would continue on with his mother's tactics in her honor.

Eury was rather taken back by the stallion's words and she frowned in response. It wasn't quite how she had expected the other to begin a conversation; though Kalona were quite unpredictable as it were. Perhaps it was foolish she had even thought about how the stallion would react to her presence in the first place. Very foolish indeed. Eury mentally reprimanded herself. Though his attention seemed to fall directly upon her and the destroyed land appeared to be forgotten by the stallion; which is probably what surprised her the most. Her blood red eyes followed the stallion as he paced closer to her and then moved around her. She neither flinched nor made any motion move, simply holding her ground. The mare's eyes looked towards the glowing yellow eyes of the stallion and she responded.
"I was curious if you knew what disaster befell this groove." She allowed herself to look away from the stallion and her gaze immediately fled back to the strip of grass and other vegetation that was shredded and mutated. A look of sadness seemed to appear in her eyes as she examined it once more, but the expression died as she focused once more at the stallion so very near to her. "I often come here..." She spoke softly. "It's a shame to see the land demolished as it currently is. I wonder just how long it will take before the grass and flowers grow back in to how they naturally are..." Her words trailed off, and suddenly she realized that she was getting off topic and that her reminiscing wasn't aiding to the situation. Perhaps she didn't really want to know just what had happened to the groove...
The mare continued gazing at the stallion, and she finally allowed herself to take in his appearance. His dark gray body was adorned with red markings, red horns sprouted from head and his mane was medium-length and flowing. His tail was seemed to be leathery, just as his wings were. Eury also took in the chain wrapping around his legs and tail, thinking to herself that it was most peculiar. Her mouth opened to address the stallion again, however the wind seemed to pick up once again at that moment and she quickly closed her mouth as well as her eyes to avoid the cold pricking sensation that the wind seemed to deliver. The black and white mare's mane swished violently in the wind and one of her flowers came loose from her hair.
The flower twirled about in the wind before falling amidst the destroyed grass off to the side of where she stood with the stallion looming over her. When the gust subsided the mare's eyelids fluttered opened and she looked quickly around. Noticing one of her precious hibiscuses lying upon the ground she gasped and quickly moved over to it, her mind frantic, wondering just how she was going to replace the flower in her mane. Again, a look of sadness appeared in the mare's eyes and both the stallion and the destroyed groove had disappeared from her thoughts. The mare wouldn't be able to place the flower in her mane by herself {that was for sure} and her Indian, whom was the person who chose to decorate her mane and tail with the flowers in the first place, was no where near the groove. The mare's eyes continued to stare down at the white and red flower, wondering just what she was to do.

Ah, should he tell her that HE was the disaster? He was what shamelessly destroyed what the mare spoke of, and he was the monster who had corrupted the land? It would be much to boring to spill the beans right away, so only smiled coyly, and observed her reaction even more. He had to admit, he was surprised that she continued to speak on her own about such a grove. It wasn't her grove to take care of, so why was she so attached? Some Soquili were always so confusing to him, though he shrugged such thoughts off and focused on her current dilemma with her flower.
She looked completely frazzled, and this was all over a flower! Temptation didn't understand such feelings and he rarely expressed any sadness like kind he was watching. But still, he couldn't let the mare just stand there. He needed to build up some trust from her, and show her he was on her side. He needed to win her over, and at the moment she was completely distracted. It was a great opportunity to move in and be the right stallion in her eyes.
He the moved himself over to where the flower lay, and before bending over, he asked, "Where would you like me to place it?" And with a careful and slow swoop, he placed the flower carefully in his mouth, and walked over towards the gentle mare. He noticed the other flowers scattered about, and he assumed they were all placed their with a purpose. He obediantly waited for her response, as if waiting for his princess to command him. He really was unbelievable in his acting, though for him this was enjoyment. He liked courting mares, and since his brother wasn't around there was no reason to harm the current mare he found. Besides, why ruin a project that was in the making?

Eury's attention only returned to the stallion when he was standing before both her and the flower. The look on her face quickly changed from worry to puzzlement at the question he asked. It was quite obvious that he intended to help her; yet Eury would never expect such assistance from a Kalona. They certainly can be unpredictable... The mare told herself. She quickly closed her mouth after realizing that it had been slightly open these past few moments as she had stared at him. Eury watched as he bent down and gentle retrieved the flower, causing her to blush deeply. She hoped that the stallion would not notice her heated cheeks and was thankful for her ebony coat. "It should go just below my forelock off to the side, underneath my ear." She answered him, looking away while a small smile crept upon her lips and she continued to blush.
Eury was very grateful toward the stallion for the fact that he was going out of his way to aid her. He had even been gentle with her hibiscus, where as others might have torn the thin petals if they had picked it up roughly. The mare didn't want to be stereotypical, yet the behavior did strike her as most peculiar for a Kalona. She allowed her eyes to glance back at his gleaming yellow ones before she quickly averted her gaze once more. "Thank you." She told him quietly, before he even had replaced the flower in her mane. "I really appreciate it." Her eyes sparkled with a gleam of sincerity. Eury still didn't know just what to make out of the stallion's actions. It wasn't as if he had anything to gain by helping her, so it didn't seem as if he were doing it for his own benefit.
Perhaps if it had been a more appropriate time Eury would have jokingly asked him with a raised eyebrow and a smirk, "Why are you helping me? What's in it for you?" However, now hardly seemed as if it were a suitable moment. It was just then Eury realized she hadn't asked the stallion his name yet, and she felt ashamed for not having done so yet. They had to have been standing in the groove now for what had to have been at least quarter of an hour, if not more. Then the mare recalled the fact that the groove was destroyed, something she had not considered since her flower was blown out of her mane by the strong gust of wind. Though, the more pressing issue to the mare was the stallion's name. After a few moments she finally gathered the courage to ask him. "I'm Eury." She began, her voice quiet. "I hope you don't mind me asking your name as well." The mare regarded the stallion, the corners of her mouth tugged upward in a smile.

Once the flower was secured in the mare's mane, Temptation took a step back and nodded to let her know all was well. Everything was in place, and the flowers did look pretty. From her changed expression, he could tell that being princely was the right move to follow and he was slowly becoming closer to the female. She had even given him her name, to which he replied, "I'm Temptation, and you can ask anything if you'd like. That's your right as another individual." His eyes narrowed a bit, and he continued to smile without showing his scary fangs. His body was still and comfortable, and he tried to remain as not intimidating. He had to admit though, that was very hard in itself!
"So Eury, tell me about yourself." There, that was an easy sentence starter. Although Temptation was smooth and confident, he was still young in this world. He was still learning how to control his reflexes and his skills, and so far he was doing well apparently. "I'm sure there is more to you then flowers, of course." With a slight head tilt, he comfortably chuckled before curling his tail behind him. His tail always felt so snake-like, and he needed to move it every once in awhile.
It did amuse him how unnatural he felt, and he wondered if he should feel some shame for all of the acting he was performing. Sometimes he acted so much that he tended to forget what his real personality was like. Did he even have one? Oh well, that was an issue that could easy be resolved, but not now. Now he was faced with a beautiful mare in front of him, and the game was on. He just wasn't sure what he wanted to do with her and what he should do with himself.

The mare bowed her head to him in response. 'Temptation...' She thought to herself. It struck her as an odd name, though Eury had considered nothing about the stallion orthodox thus far. "It seems like a name that fits you..." A smirk tugged at one corner of her mouth. "Yet I'm not one to jump to conclusions, so I can't say for sure." A quick giggle escaped her before she stifled it. "My right as an individual?" She repeated. "I doubt many Kalona would share that same ideal." Eury wasn't sure if she was treading dangerous waters by speaking for the Kalona species, but she didn't consider Temptation to be dangerous and doubted he would react in a ferocious manner to her words. "Though... I suppose the same can be said of other species as well. Some do have the idea that their breed is superior to the other Soquili breeds. Though, I've heard it's a more prominent trait in Kalona." After hearing her own words, Eury decided that she must sound conceited to the stallion and she was glad that she was able to move quickly off the topic of which see had seemed to ramble on about.
The twist of his leathery tail didn't go unnoticed by the mare. "How can you be so sure that there is more to me than my hibiscuses?" A mysterious and somewhat devious twinkle appeared in her blood red orbs. "Compared to your intricate markings I must seem rather plain." The mare said this in a convicting tone, though there was a somewhat teasing manner behind her words as well. "I'm a black and white pinto. Plain and simple. My coat isn't adorned with many unique markings and bright colors as some, but I don't mind." Again, another smile crept upon her face. "Even if I don't have any interesting stories to accompany my coat, I come from a place that I doubt any others do." Eury's smile grew as she reminisced about her homeland. "I hail from a warm chain of islands, filled with a variety of plant life as well as an array of animals. My flowers are native to those islands." The mare nodded at her last sentence, as her own way of confirming her statement.
"Enough about me though..." A smirk replaced the smile that she had carried on her face. "I'm rather curious in regards to your chain, not to mention your disposition. I'm fairly certain that it rare for a Kalona to be as charming and well-mannered as yourself." She gave him a quick wink, knowing that it wouldn't go unnoticed by the stallion.

Temptation was enjoying the mare's shift of attitude, and he breathed in gently while taking in many of her words. She spoke of Kalonas, yes, though she did not speak of him. He would need to explain that it seemed. "I do not deny that my breed is superior, or that I am superior. Though my superiority comes from my family, and that actual bloodline." he paused then, and flicked his bangs out of his eyes. "I only carry myself with pride because of my perfect family. Why should I speak for all Kalona when they cannot compare for my own family?" His point was made, and he nodded respectively after his words.
"I didn't say or imply that you are plain." he then said, with a somewhat discomforted tone. He rather enjoyed her confidence in herself, and he enjoyed that she was proud of her heritage. He felt angered by those that had no respect for their roots. "It does sound like a lovely place, and a place that is benefited for your upbringing." He quickly took in a long breath, before feeling relaxed once again. "No wonder you were so worried for your flower, they need your caring and they carry memories that help you remember yourself. There is nothing boring about that."
And finally, her interest had come to him. He flashed a quick smile towards her wink before pondering what to tell her, or rather where to start. "Ah, me, the Temptation." He used to reject his name, but he rather liked it now that he could understand its meaning. It DID fit him well, and the mare was correct in noticing that. "I wouldn't say that I am well-mannered, maybe charming, but that's because I enjoy being charming when the moment permits it. And my chain comes from my father, he gave me it. He gave me it because he was disappointed that I represented my mother too much. So he needed a part of him on me at all times." A growl emitted from his mouth, though he shrugged the thought off and took a moment to cool himself.
"My mother has only taught me to enjoy the opposite sex, so I carry on with her beliefs and ideals." Though, he tried to be more like his father whenever he could. Damnation was just better in that regard... "Always expect the unexpected, especially with my family." he then winked back at the mare, and chuckled a bit from that truth.

The mare snorted, holding her chin high and closing her eyes; an act she often did when she was annoyed and attempted to show defiance. "Don't misunderstand me." Eury warned him. "I never said that Kalona were superior, I simply stated that there are those who believe their breed is superior to other ones." Her eyes opened halfway in a glare. "You are a conceited one to think of yourself to be superior based on such a fickle thing as breed, or even family as you put it." She was becoming rather infuriated by the stallion, and in such a short period of time. The mare had encountered one of Temptation's siblings before, though her thoughts were far from that brief encounter currently and she was definitely unaware that they were related to one another. "If you consider your family to be perfect, than would I be wrong in assuming you and your relatives are all pure Kalona?" Eury released an indignant huff. "Though I still don't understand your disposition since you are almost certainly a full-blood Kalona..." Her voice trailed off, truly wondering where the nature to attack others and wage destruction had disappeared to with the stallion.
"I know you didn't say it, but that doesn't mean that you weren't thinking it." The mare continued to glare at him a few seconds longer before she sighed, allowing her head to hang lower and giving it a little shake. He was rather charming, despite his arrogant remarks, and Eury found herself unable to stay angry with him. "It really was lovely..." She remarked quietly, the corners of her mouth tilting upward in another smile as she remembered living on her previous island home. She had watched golden sunsets on the beaches, cantered along the edge of the ocean with the waves lapping at her hooves... Yes, the mare had many those memories as well as many other fond ones she harbored. Suddenly she snapped out of her daydream and blinked up at the stallion. "No... I suppose not..." Her words were barely audible, her breathing coming out in little wisps.
Eury frowned at the stallion, unsure how to decipher his answers to her inquiries. "That seems like an odd quality for a father to be disappointed with..." His story made it seem in a way as if his father were claiming him, and perhaps his father was jealous of the bond between Temptation and his mother. Though, she chose not to voice this aloud as she had never met his parents before and had no right to exclaim such utterances in regards to them. "Well, I still think you are well-mannered even if you don't. Perhaps you should learn to accept compliments when you receive them." Eury reprimanded the stallion. "That's the only thing your mother taught you?!" Her eyes were wide in shock as she stared up at him. It seemed such a scandalous thing for a mother to teach her son; yet they were Kalona, and she would never quite understand them... She furrowed her brow at him, a look of annoyance appearing on her face once again. His words confused the mare, and she thought quite the opposite of that statement.

Everything had turned to shambles, and it only took a few moments for the strange shift to happen! "My my, no reason to get upset. What exactly are you trying to prove, that is, when talking about my Kalona-hood? There is no mystery to figure out, I am but a breed or a statement. My strength and pride comes from my family.. what is so wrong about that?" He was utterly confused by her dramatic change in personality, but he figured that it would pass with time. He had to admit though, it was frustrating to see a female get so worked up over something so simple, but he assumed that such a topic would get more explained with time. Just as she was confused, he was confused it seemed.
At her comment about his father he could only sigh and look away quickly. "Well both of my parents are very competitive, and they want some of us to follow them, rather then the other. The more children they have on their side, the stronger they are against the other." he paused then, and knew already that it was a strange ordeal compared to 'normal' families. "It keeps us all busy with each other and it definitely keeps things interesting. I can admit though, my family can be extreme, but I suppose that fits us."
The last and most hilarious response that Temptation noticed was towards his mother's teachings towards him, and he could only pull forward a bit and stare carefully into the mare's eyes. "Does it repulse you? You know, being scandalous, or pleasing, or enjoyable?" he the dragged his neck away from the mare, and straightened his posture while in thought. "That's why life gives us multiple personalities, there are mares that need me, so I bid them hello. Just like there are stallions that ignore mares, there are those that acknowledge some of the wonders of life. Its the same with mares." His mother was a prime example of a mare with true advancement. "You can judge me if you wish, though I choose not to judge others. Their lives are their own tasks such that yours is not mine to control."
He lowered his skull into a polite bow, since he found it necessary with his last comment. "My lust for blood and females is just what I am, and your lust for your homeland is no different then my own desires." His words were his own, and he was glad to not be acting when speaking of his own truths.
