Well. I have been trying to figure things out. I've never been one to care about activity level as long as people are enjoying themselves and don't vanish into the ether. I thought I would make a discussion about the rp in general there are a few things:
Do we want a definite stop to Gifted or have Manhattan end in some way with things continuing on down the line?
I'm not saying that we are shutting down the rp or anything, but thought we have been posting, we are lacking in direction. I agree that some of that is my fault.
We also are low on members, once again, partially my fault, but Knuckle and I have been trying hard to recruit. We just don't have interested people anymore.
I would also like to reopen Oxford some time if activity calls for it.
If you have any plot ideas/suggestions/criticisms please post them here.

Hmm...well I'll try to start things off.
Plot ideas.
1.) Powers are completely stripped when a experiment goes wrong. Fights ensue to regain them, and perhaps for those that belong to others.
2.) Body switching?
3.) That time travel thing...theres a thread for that I think.
4.) Walter comes back to save Christmas...

May I just scratch out "Walter Saves Christmas?" Though that would be terribly insane and a good idea.

Well now I have a comic idea if I ever get around to it.
I still do like the time travel thing too. I'm thinking about opening up the closed forum for it.
Knuckle wants to exchange his Latin robots for Grecian letters.
So far the ideas are:
Alpha
Phi
Omega
Maybe they can be the robot sorority?
Inner adult: *Slap*
What about recruitment? I'm out of cheap tricks.

I got a terrific idea! We were planning an anniversary anyways right? What if we took it to the forums? Better yet. What if we took the past there? That way people who post won't feel obligated to join the guild if they don't want to. There characters can just fade out.
The 1st birthday of Gifted isn't until July 24th, so we will have plenty of time to figure out how to go about this.
I.E.
What forum to put it in...
How are we going to write a summary...
Yadda Yadda...

Alright, so time travel thread in the forums 3nodding
The only big challenge would be the summary, trying to explain so much in a short, easy to digest bit...well, good thing its a month away. So, what are some key points that should definently be hit on to make sure everyone is on the same page?

That this is a time traveling venture to the past.
Have to save a man that was mistakenly killed.
And I was thinking, maybe not even have it as a sure fire thing that Walter is saved. Like an attempt or something.

Summary Rough Draft The year is 2100. 100 years ago, scientists in New York City had been experimenting on humans for the Government to have a superhuman army. They succeeded, but after a while the experiments escaped, and hid among society. They started bloodlines, and now there are many Gifted out there, and the government is still trying to round them up and "put them to sleep" because they are too powerful to control. The agents are the ones that hunt the Gifted. Granted, not all Gifted are good, and some have turned to the side of the Agents. On the other side of the coin, not all agents are evil. Some only do what they do to get a steady income. There are, currently, three different active branches in the government: Manhattan, Providence, and Oxford. Several months ago, in Manhattan, an important government agent was killed. He was a mercenary that was hired into the government named Walter Cervantes. Another agent took Walter from this world before his time. His crime: simply getting in the agent’s way. There are many people who want him back for various reasons. Niccea, the leader of Gifted double agents, blames herself for his murder. She was not there in time to prevent it and she didn’t even try to help him when she found him bleeding his life onto the floor. She is also the guardian of Walter’s only living relative, Maria. Maria, of course, wants her dear old Uncle Wally back. Several others are banning together for this crack mission, but there is one hitch. Time traveling is very dangerous, therefore, it is a very rare Gift in the world. A time traveler has been found, but will they be willing? Also, at least one person who knows of the past must travel back with the crack team to make sure that time doesn’t become undone at the seams. What exactly happened all those months ago? The future was already written, but how did the crack team change what was going on? Will Walter “come back from the dead” or will the universe split at the seams? The decision is yours. Since she MIGHT go to the past, Niccea would need a disguise. How about this? It looks sort of like her if she modified her looks.

Since she wasn't part of the plot, sure. My only requirement is that there is one "Past Character" there. Since kiko, xeph, and mit, are inactive. That defaults Niccea or Imerius to be there.
Imerius is in Providence, so....

Yeah and also she was more on both sides. She had the best idea of all what was going on because she was an information gatherer.
I'm thinking for Niccea's disguise in the past. People that weren't there before are freer than Niccea, but they too have to be careful.

Maria and IM could probably come, but for sure she'd need to change her look if only a little bit. What would happen if Walter sees Maria walking around Manhattan when she's supposed to be in the hospital needing an operation?
