http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v159/Nerao/Henna.png A cream pelted, earthy red designed female walked slowly her gait wide to cause the many things she'd collected along her journey jingle around her paws and neck once in awhile a tiny giggle would escape her in her amused reverie about the silly items she carried. The lioness had fallowed the salty sea inland and now the water no longer tasted of the ocean, she missed the colorful fish and the over powering sense of oneness she felt with the waves. But here too nature was overwhelming, the river that had started out small and helpless was now a power in itself. She cackled again in her delight.
Yaya wasn't a strange lioness, or one of the lions with a mythical past, she merely existed she was no secret and her past wasn't either, although if anything interesting had happened then she wasn't telling. "Good morning, Sun!" She chirped as she saw the first peeks of the Sun's morning rays reflecting off of the water, she turned her head to see half of a blazing orb. "Hasn't it been awhile?" she chirped again and kept her silly gait as she walked along the river.

"Jino, wake up," Kinagiri chided grumpily as she walked along in the early morning light, "I'm not carrying you around so you can just go to sleep on me." Hanging over her, not looking nearly as comfortable as he felt though just as peaceful, a green striped snake was dozing off. Kinagiri had gotten up before the sun that morning for a purpose, she would have happily slept through the dawn but it was not often she ignored a vision when they chose to wake her up. If it would actually get her anywhere varied, though. "This way," she said, half-talking to herself. Tired and unwilling to give up his comfortable spot at Kinagiri's shoulders, Jino knew it would take less energy if he just woke up and spoke with the lioness. Otherwise he would have to slither his own way along and chatting, and that just wasn't going to happen that morning.
"I'm awake," he hissed with a small yawn, curling his tail around her to make sure he didn't fall and he lifted up his head to get a look around, "And who or what are we looking for today?"
As soon as he asked, he blinked- and with a sudden twist, he was looking just in the right direction to spot the pale lioness in the distance. And he didn't say anything else and Kinagiri took them closer.

The "c***k c***k c***k" sound echoed along side the babbling stream and the two sounds echoed together complimenting one another. Suddenly sounds of distant voices, the only words she picked up were "this way" and she turned in the direction, she caught glimpses of a darn green lioness with a vine along her neck. Who was she speaking to? Yaya had not spotted anyone else along side the female.
"Are you talking to me?" she chirped loudly and stopped moving hushing the bracelet's "c***k c***k" sound.

Kina felt Jino twist ever so slightly around her neck, and having spotted the lioness in the distance she knew they were within range for the delightful green snake around her neck to finally suitably notice the lioness they were aiming for. He was good at that. Even when she saw she had been noticed, she kept going- as was the norm for her unless Jino detected something and warned her against it.
"No, but I was looking for you," she answered once within audible range.
Making himself more evident, and feeling more awake now, Jino uncurled himself a bit so that he now had his head held high up. A small smile on his face, he knew they were in no immediate danger and he skipped over an introduction of the subject cheerfully.
"Yaya," he greeted, and his stare went blank, seeming to look right through her, for only a couple of seconds.

Yaya cocked her head as the lioness, she did not notice the snake clinging to her neck. "Looking for me? Have we met?" she spoke and stepped closer curiosity peaked, the thought that Kina might be a predator never crossed the adult lioness' mind.
She heard her name from the snake's middle and visible jumped, "Oh! I didn't notice you there...how..do you know my name?" she showed outward concern, she did not recall introducing herself.

Yaya. Kina was not nearly as surprised as Yaya by the use of her name, and if she was she hid it much better. She knew not to react to the things Jino said. Just as he refrained from reacting to things she said, though only if he felt it was safe to proceed as she did. After all, Jino had insight into what could happen to Kina and Kina did not.
"No, we haven't met," she said, stepping closer as Yaya did and her eyes momentarily flitting to the bracelets that jingled as the pale lioness walked. Hmmm!
Ah, they had her started off a bit- she was curious, and Jino could tell that Kina had noticed the bangles on the other lioness- just because he knew Kinagiri, he didn't need to see (or see) her to tell. He twisted a bit as if rearranging himself more comfortably, resembling the stretching of one's neck.. only in a uniform creature.
"We are fortune tellers of sorts," he explained carefully, cautiously, "We wander and meet with relative strangers, seen only in visions of what has happened or will happen. My partner here is Kinagiri, and I am Jino. Kinagiri led us here to find you, to talk to you."
Jino was brief, fairly concise and most importantly he was polite! He couldn't go on talking to people without introducing himself- and Kina. Rarely did that work out.

Fortune tellers, certainly they were kidding? Her eyes glimmered with excitement, if they could guess her name then perhaps they really were not kidding, not in the least. These thoughts swirled and rationalized in her mind, she'd never heard of anyone being able to tell the future before.
"Pleasure to meet you Kinagiri and Jino," she bowed, her bracelets jingling as she moved.
"Why would you need to meet me?" she wondered out loud. She didn't think she had anything to offer future wise, she was merely a wandered and that was that.

"The pleasure's all ours," Kina replied amiably, knowing a good impression was important. She wasn't surprised by the skepticism at what Jino said- but he wouldn't have said it if he didn't believe it would work out in the end, even in some small way.
"We are talented at what we do," she explained, her part in a pre-rehearsed (or was it only organized?) speech about their business, "When we get visions we do not bring upon ourselves, we investigate."
"Yess," Jino confirmed, flicking his forked tongue thoughtfully and looking from Kina to Yaya, "Perhaps you might have some questions? Something to test our honesty, or perhaps something you wish to know." It was up to Yaya to lead where this would go, what the significance was to this meeting.

The cream hued lioness felt suddenly overwhelmed, a question she could ask them that would prove their abilities? She could not recall an important part of her history that was worth testing them with. They did seem well put together compared to the scatter brained lioness.
A thought struck her; holding out one of her paws with a shelled bracelet she spoke, "Where did this bracelet come from? Who gave it to me?" She thought this would be as good a question as ever. Her jewelry was something picked up here and there along her travels, often they were gifts from acquaintances.
"That's a fair question, isn't it?" she giggled, they were an odd pair, but she liked them.

Kinagiri was surprised that one of the bracelets she'd been secretly admiring was the source of the question. Her abilities could not foresee the question coming, but she could try to call up the answer- so long as the answer did not relate to herself, she could do it. And they had a method to answering questions, Kinagiri usually got first crack if they were equal parts of the conversation and then Jino could offer collaborations to support it.
"Cuth," she answered shortly, simply after a somewhat glazed look, "An old friend of yours."
Jino, instead of focusing on the single piece of jewelery, tried to examine a bit more about the background of other pieces. As soon as Kina said a name, he knew she was focused and likely very right. He got a dizzy spin of images and sounds as he struggled to dig through Yaya's past for information.
Wobbling when he came out of it, he ended up slithering away from his perch around Kina's neck and flumped to the ground. He righted himself with a slight hiss of surprise, shaking the dirt from his head.
"One piece," he said as he regained his equilibrium, "One piece of many that you've kept rather than trade away, kept track of rather than risk losing." He was caught off guard by the dizzying effect of looking into her past with this, too much information at once- he used this to jump to the 'one of many' comment.

Yaya inhaled deeply out of excitement and let it out slowly, "You really can see things!" She was excited and scared all at once.
"Tell me about my future, please?" her green eyes searched the pair to see how they possibly could know such a thing if not her telling them, or them seeing things.
She was not the type of lioness to want to settle down, start a family, and learn to become part of a pride. So asking about the future didn't really hold much except for entertainment, surely she would not settle for any of those. Power and status too were not things she clung to...so what did the future hold. Yaya raised both of her front paws and jingled the bracletts on them.
"They're things I trade yes indeed, this one I keep because Cuth was a good lion, yes." she repeated the information back to them as a reassurance.

Kinagiri's eyes followed Jino momentarily as he flumped from around her neck, smirking at the dizzy spell he suffered- he clearly had sought out something that came with a few too many specific cases. What he was useful information for her, too, for she knew now that Yaya was not unaccustomed to trading away her ornaments.
"We can tell your future," she said, looking up from watching Yaya's bracelets jingle in demonstration, "But we have to agree upon a price."
Jino gave a throaty hiss as he settled comfortably once again, coiled around a bit so he raised himself up higher to speak more politely and efficiently. He was much smaller than the lionesses, but the closer he was to eye level, the better he usually found interactions were. He swayed an inch or two when Kinagiri brought up the subject of payment.
"We cannot just tell everybody what their future holds," he offered as an explanation, "And how much we tell, how specific we are depends on the value you place on the information. Being more specific and complete requires more effort, more concentration." After all, there were a lot of details to take in from some visions and too many too quickly had already been demonstrated to have a direct impact on the seers.

She thought it over, entertainment for a price was something she was not accustomed to. Life was entertaining in itself and the cream colored lioness liked to be entertained and fully emerged in happy things.
"All I have to trade are the bracelets, pick any one you'd like and it is yours," she did not think they would ask for the bracelet that meant so much to her, like the one from Cuth.
"I don't really know what the future holds for me, his should be fun!"

Looking to Jino, it seemed there was some unspoken conversation between them. Something like this, a trinket sized for a lioness.. it often went to her and so the duty of reaching out into the future first fell to her. She looked over at the bracelets carefully, considering the value of the information they were giving. She was intrigued, she was interested, she was in it for fun. It was unlikely she would part with the bracelet from her dear friend so she made her choice carefully.
"The simple one," she said, "Above the one from Cuth."
That decided, she settled down carefully, her front legs apart to support her and hopefully to keep her upright. It wasn't uncommon enough for her to lose muscle tone briefly that she would risk a far fall.
Jino's eyes went to Kina as well, nodding to her just before she turned away to decide. He was not going to benefit much from this, but this was why he was teamed up with Kinagiri. He benefited from her presence and she was able to learn from him and earn her way into many things she might like.
He slithered out of the way when Kina sat down, going over beside Yaya to watch and wait as well. He would be ready to help if necessary but it was unlikely she might need backup. He considered how awkward this might look, but if they fancied up the method to make it more 'believable' it might look more like a sham.

Bringing her paw to her mouth she loosened the simple bracelet and pulled it around holding it gently in her mouth she set it down in front of Kina. Excitement flooded every inch of her, this was something she certainly had never experienced before!
Watching the lioness hunker down Yaya wondered what it felt like to get visions. They looked a little disoriented after recalling where the bracelet came from, did it hurt to see the future and to see the past?
"What now?"
