This is the office for the captain of Squad 1. It is a smallish tatami room, only about four mats wide by two mats long. There is a desk with all the paperwork necessary for running a squad on it, a lockable drawer, ink stones and brushes for calligraphy, a shrine and an alcove for weapons.
There is a shoji door to the back leading into the Captain's bedroom.
Whites and creams decorate most of the surfaces. There is a kitsune motif everywhere.

-------------------------------- The Reign of Yukimaru ------------------------
Under the new regime of Yukimaru a couch has been added to the main room, facing perpendicular to the desk, with two really squishy and insanely comfy looking chairs facing towards the couch. Daven's picture is hung on the wall behind her desk, above the squad one symbol.
It's an amazingly clean room considering her last few offices. Almost strangely devoid of dirty tea cups, empty pizza boxes, and overflowing unfinished paperwork. It seems the three years as commander have finally made the impression of cleanliness.
Out of respect she hasn't touched Daven's old room, leaving it just the way he left it, as if hoping that he would come back like the past three years never happened. The only new real addition to that room is a memorial stone in the center of the room with Daven's name carved on it. On the back is a small inscription that reads:
Sunrise to Sunset.
Time is immaterial
To eternal stone.
Ephemeral plum blossoms
Cannot mark the centuries.
It's his death Poem, exactly how he worded it. And equally to his request, there is not a date to be found. Occasionally she will go back there and dust it, but really there is no other use for it besides mourning the past commander.
