((lets get this going!))
Vivian watched the camp for what seemed like hours before dropping from the hidden limb and walking ever closer to the throng of treehouses that riddled that limbs above her. She was sick of being on her own, and so she took a cautious step over the threshold from forest to clearing.
Sincerely she hope that she wouldn't be immediately seen as a threat, for she wasn't one. She just wanted safe harbor for the nights and to be able to aid their quest when the sun was right in the sky. She breathed carefully, "This is new for me, joining a group." she whispered to no one in particular.

Quote: He smiled at what she said then styled his hair again. "Guess not" A look of puzzlement crossed his face at her question. "Who is this Alaura and others that you speak of. I am here because I was in mid training when I heard a battle close by. Is Alaura and her comrades the survivors of that battle?" A tone of hope went into his voice as he spoke that last sentence. A part of him was glad that there were still people alive for he had feared the worst. Keyla just nodded and looked at him for amoment before she answered "Well.. Alaura is the 'leader' of those who leads the against the dark armies... though we are not nearly as many as dark but Alaura, well.. she has this way.. always getting everyone to feel hope and feel strong." she said with a smile "Yes.. Alaura and some of us were in that battle. We are all survivors." she said, thankful for what Alaura had did to save them all.

Xavier smiled greatly at upon hearing this news. As he heard her talk of the leader Alaura, he couldnt help but marvel at her leadership skills. "I would greatly like to meet with this Alaura for I am also against this war"

Keyla nodded "Well maybe you can. You can come with me once I go back to the camp." she said tilting her head "I'm they will appreciate another helping hand." she smiled and sat down on the ground "Oh.. I'm Keyla by the way. Nice to meet you."

Xavier nodded and sat down as well. "Thank you, that would be greatly appreciated. My names Xavier. Its nice to meet you too. Say, would you like something to drink? I find these little streams are extremely pure in content." He said smiling as he moved his hands to make a small spiral of water move slowly towards them and form a small globe of water between them.

}~{ Ok, sorry for putting OOC in here, but I just thought I should mention to you, Yamimaru, that its not tents in a clearing. The camp consists of treehouses within the trees, close to a clearing but far enough away that they would remain hidden. Just wanted to clear that up so there was no confusion. }~{
Nicki moved through the halls of the dark fortress swiftly, the shadows snapping about her and clinging to her. It seemed that they fed off of her mood, which was growing more aggrivated the longer she went without taking a life. She was furious and wanted simply to have the chance to snuff out the lives of those who had caused her such grief. Namely that wretched Seth. Perhaps it was just her manner of pouring all of her anger onto one being and blaming them for all of her problems, but then again, she also had a natural hatred for those who wished to do any good.
As she came upon the throne room, a place where she was sure to find the dark lord of the kingdom, she found her path blocked by a guard. The man looked absolutely terrified, as if he wanted to move but was petrified in place. Nicki's cold stare locked onto him without even skipping a heartbeat and she was sure that at that moment the man's heart had jumped into his throat. She didn't say a single word, simply stood there staring at the man until he swallowed hard and managed to stutter out a few words.
"I-I'm afraid y-you c-c-can't go in t-there m-miss." His stammering only made Nicki more angry, but she managed to swallow he anger, holding back the shadows that lashed out from her body to lick the man's face. They were practically screaming for her to let them devour him, but she denied them the pleasure for now. Instead, she stepped past him and moved forward, heading towards the closed door. The man, however, refused to let her past as he practically fell in front of her.
"M-m-miss, the D-dark lord does n-not wish t-t be d-disturbed. You c-can't-" His words were suddenly cut off as, all at once, the shadows that had been clinging onto Nicki jumped from her body in a vast cloud of black mist. For a moment it completely covered the surrounding hall, making it seem as if someone had devoured every last bit of light. Then, without warning, light returned as the cloud descended upon the helpless guard. A muffled scream could only just be heard before the shadows returned as they had been, leaving no sign of the guard.
"Honestly, you'd think these people would know by now that there is a thin line between bravery and stupidity. It isn't wise to say no to me." She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, though with the way the shadows leaned on her and clung to her, it would almost seem that they were a living thing. She moved up to the door, with that poor guard now eternally trapped in Nicki's terrifying shadow realm, a place worse than hell controlled by the demon herself. She lifted a hand to knock on the door, something that was rather uncommon of her. However, she wasn't in the mood to be chastised for simply walking in unanounced.

She smiled and chuckled as she saw the globe of water take form "And how exactly am I supposed to drink it?" she asked, since she was not a water manipulator, at least not yet. It was strange. She hadn't really thought about the news she had gotten only a few days earlier. She had just let it slip for some reason. Exactly how am I supposed to learn? I have no idea where to start.. she let a sigh escape her and then turned her attention back to Xavier again, waiting for him to answer.

Xavier let out a laugh and smiled at her. "Cup your hands inside the globe then bring it to your mouth, it should retain its form and not spill. Here Ill show you." He slowly reached in with his hands cupped and brought a handful of water to his mouth and began to drink slowly. "Ahhh refreshing, now you try. Ill help it retain its form so you can drink properly" Xavier moved the globe towards her and gave a slight nod.

Upon hearing the knock on his door, Adel awoke from his slumber. He was seated near the open balcony, a book entitled "The Thief" was open on his lap. I must have dozed off for a moment. He closed the book, laying it on a nearby table, and looked to the door. "You may come in." He was not busy and rather bored anyway, so he had hoped for some interesting news.

Nicki opened the door, pushing it roughly so that it swung wide and collided with the wall inside the room. The loud thud it made didn't bother the demon as she walked straight over towards the balcony, stopping beside the chair. Her eyes skimmed over the scene outside the open doorway, narrowing as she watched men going about their business and the city beyond the palace walls. For a while she remained silent, not even flinching once when she heard the screams no doubt coming from some poor soul that Fear had just ripped into.
"Seth has betrayed you, as I told you he would. He has joined with those who stand against you. They are not many, but enough to be bothersome. You should have let me kill him when he was still here." Her tone was almost condescending, but even with this man who was considered a lord, she would not bow or be ruled. Nicki was what most called and independant. The only creature she truly seemed to care for was Fear, though it was obviously who was the master and who the beast.
As she stood there, Nicki could feel her naturally demonic urges creeping up within her. Oh how easy it would be to go back to her roots, to be what she truly was. The terror she could cause would be something the likes of which these people had never seen. But such things would not get her what she wanted. Well, at least not as smoothly as was possibly, anyway. She simply had to bide her time until she could shed this wretched human illusion and become the demon she truly was.

Keyla watched as Xavier showed her how to do and then nodded "That seems simple enough.." she smiled and reached in as well, cupping her hands and smiled as she brought the water to her mouth and drank it. It was very refreshing. "Mm, yeah, refreshing it is." she agreed and threw herself back on the grass, looking at the sky "This war is not so refreshing though.." she said and her smile was gone.

((Woo, I finally had a chance to get on and post..xD. Sorry about not responding to this sooner. Looks like you didn’t go anywhere though…^^))
Yashi nodded his head as he listened to Alaura, “Do not worry I will not endanger any of your men’s lives. I will only fight her to stop her bloodshed over this land now. I have decided that doing this for the challenge would be stupid, so instead I will be doing this to stop her devilish deeds and keep everyone from having to worry about her.” He could tell that Alaura loved her people and cared for their safety a great deal. A smile slipped across his lips, and then he looked over at Shane as Alaura did.
The man seemed to want her to lie around like some doll and not move, but just knowing Alaura for the brief time he has he could tell that would not happen. After listening to her response about lying around he realized she had introduced him to Shane. Yashi stood up and spoke, “Hello Shane, well like she said the name is Yashi and I will be doing all that I can to help you all.
All at once it seemed the conversation had ended as the possibility of unwanted guests came near. Yashi thought about who it would be, but knew it couldn’t be the enemy that flew away the other day. He wondered if the man he meet earlier with Keyla was the one they were talking about. The man did look like he was from the dark kingdom so that could be the problem. He pondered over a few other possibilities and soon gave up trying to decide who was coming.
Yashi walked out onto the balcony where the man would end up if he made it all the way up the ladder. His hand rested on the hilt of his blade as he was ready to attack if need be, but wasn’t planning on having to do much. He still believed it was the guy from earlier he meet and that man didn’t seem that threatening.

Xavier placed the water globe back into the water and looked back at the back at her then the ground. "This war has claimed many casulties and I do not see it ending anytime soon" He looked up at the sky, wondering what the new day will bring.

Adel heard the door slam against the wall and immediately knew who it was that had entered. "Miss Venia... welcome back." He listened patiently as she spoke in anger. "Though I have known of his treacherous behavior for some time now, he continues to elude me. He has indeed become a growing nuisance." Adel turned his head toward her. "You usually have no trouble snuffing out anyone that stands in your way. And yet here you are, angry that he is still alive. You say he is not a major problem, but still... you have not slain him. If you truly wanted him dead, he would be dead." Adel spoke not in anger, but curiously rather. "Have you come to my chambers simply to tell me of his betrayal, or is there perhaps another matter needing my attention? It is not often we talk of simple matters." He indicated towards a nearby chair. "Sit and look and the night sky. It will quell your rage." Adel was not afraid of Nicki, rather the opposite in fact. It was well known that she did not like any kind of authority, nor to have any person in command of her actions. Though she spoke with hatred, he knew that she could be trusted as a true ally, more so than even his most trusted men. This is why he spoke to her so easily and openly. "Have you noticed... our guest, Prince Sung, has taken quite a liking to you. He waited eagerly for your arrival." Adel had hoped this might steer the conversation away from the previous topic.
