Sorain was happy to finally have some free time. He woke up eairly that mourning and want outside to his backyard were he normally trained. His mother was not up yet so that ment no breakfast, he was hungry for sure but figured that he would eat later. All the back to back missions he had been on lately made him realize just how unprepaired he was. How little jutsu he had, how weak we was. Sorain sighed and then pulled out a scroll listing some of the basic Mist Village jutsu that his brother had gave him. Today he was going to up his arstinal. He read the intructions for the hidden mist skill several times over. 1. Concentrait your chakra. 2. Focus on the moisture in the air 3. radiate your chakra into the air 4.Visualize the mist forming 5. Condense and reform your chakra into mist 5. spread it for a large radius 6. sustain. Sorain took off his head band and gloves and got ready to train. He formed the hand signs listed on the page and closed his eyes. He was good at controlling chakra controll so the first step was no big deal. He then concitraited on the moistness in the air, this was easy because naturally in the mist village there was plenty of moisture to go off us. Sorain took a moment to wonder why he had never learned this jutsu before now. So far it was relitivly easy to do. This must be why almost every mist ninja learned it. It was a trade mark. When you lived in the mist village you kinda had to learn the hidden mist skill come on the name says you gotta learn it. Sorain then moved to step three, this was alittle more challanging but he was able to do it. Although ironicly it contricdicted everything that you learned in the acadamy about not letting your chakra seap out because it can draw attention to yourself but in this world nothing surprised him anymore. On to step four. This too was easy to do. He had seen this jutsu done so many times, and if nothing else on a regular day there was plenty of mist around so he was able to easily see what the jutsu would look like in his head. He moved to step five. This was the only thing that posed a problem. He was not sure how to spread his charka beside to just let it flow out. But this could not be right. He had always been told that this skill was not taxing and took hardly any chakra to do. After trying for about ten good minits he finnaly felt as though he was doing it. On stage six he was pleased that it was eaiser to sustain. He then realized that it was slightly taxing to do but easy to sustain. That was good, made this skill very usefull. When sorain opened his eyes he could not belive it, in one try he had done it. There was a heavy mist all around him. Not like it was nourmally, no this mist was much thicker. Sorain released the jutsu and got ready to try once more.

Sorain formed the hand signs, this time alittle faster. He had never been one to have problems with hand signs, he even knew how to do some of them with one hand. This was mostly because when he was young him and his friends used to play ninja games and they would preform advanced hand signs and pretend that they were actually doing the jutsu. He smiled and this time he kept his eye open so that he could watch his jutsu come to life. He focues his chakra, then visulized. After that was done he paused and took a breath, he then let his chakra radiate then spread. He paused again, now for the best part. He concintraited his chakra into the mist and it began to spread over the yard again. It seemed to just roll in out of nowhere as if someone had just set an ice brink on fire and the mist just fell off. Sorain smiled and then let his hand relax out of the signs. He tried moving around the yard, trying to keep the jutsu going while he did other things. He found it strangely easy to sustain this jutsu, It hardly felt like he was doing anything at all. It felt as though he had just called in some mist and it just stayed there, free of his own will. Sorain liked that. He let the jutsu cancel out."This time for real" he said, this time he would do it without as much thought, He had to be able to do it instantly if he must. Sorain picked up his head band and put it on. Covering his right eye as usall. he then picked up his gloves and put them back on. Like he normally did with his training, once he was ready to do the jutsu for real he formed his byakugan so that he could similuate what it would be like in a real fight. This time when he formed the hand sign he did them so fast they were hard to see."Hidden Mist Skill!" He said and almost as soon as it rolled off his mouth the mist filed in. Sorain smiled and then let the jutsu cance itself once more."He, that was easier than I thought" he added.

Sorain went inside his house to take a break. He would try the jutsu once more and then he would consider it learned. He knew from past training session that just because you could do it a few times does not mean that you will be able to do it when you need to. His mother was up now and already had breakfast cooking. Sorain sat down at the table and leaned back in the chair,"Training today?" she said while continuing to cook,"yea, I needed to. The mizukage has been hitting us with missions back to back and my teammate says there is more to come. So im trying to train as much as I can while I have time" he said. His mother turned around and put a table of bacon, eggs, apple sauice, and grits on the table. Sorain practicly dove on the plate. She smiled at him and sat stroking his hair,"Well promise you wont over due it." he nodded between chopping down going "om nom nom nom nom nom" She sighed,"Chew your food" He sat up and began to eat like a human,"I know your stressed out but just know that you are serving your village. Im very proud of you and although you might resent it, your father would be too" Sorain shuttered at the words. His mother chuckled and then headed into the living room to start cleaning,"If you are training today make sure you dont destroy my yard again mister!" Sorain put his plate in the sink and walked back out"Yes mom" He said. Now that he had a full belly he was ready to do it once more.

After a few more tries, all sucsessfull Sorain was pleased that he was able to learn the jutsu. He was sure that if he ever needed it in combat he would be able to do it. This would help him alot in the future if he ever needed to get out of a bad situation. Plus with his White Eyes he would be able to see clearly through the mist making this a jutsu that improved his arsinal by a hell of alot. Sorain looked father through the scroll for the next thing that he would learn."Now to do mist clones" He said and decided that he had better go down to his lake for this one. The next day Sorain woke up and got ready to devote this mourning to training. When ever he had a free moment he would learn a new jutsu. But today his brother Razune was going to teach him Water Clones. He despised his brother but deep down he only hated him as much as any other little brother would. No the reason why he disliked his brother was because unlike Sorain, his brother did not harbor foul will to there father for leaving them. He could not help but think why the hell am I the only one who is mad about it? He felt like there was something that he did not know, some missing peace of the puzzle that they were not telling him. He understood why his mother did not tell him, that was just how his mom was. But his bro. They were like best friends and yet he still kept this secrate from him. This made Sorain pissed every time he thought about it. That is why to this day Sorain rarely accepts help from his older brother, but today he would and from now on he would. He found something he loathed more than accepting help from his brother, and that was being outdone by Sai. Sai always one upped him. He was faster, he was stronger, more popular, more jutsu, better missions experance, in better graces with the Mizukage. Sai was evey thing that Sorain wanted to be. This was kind of a good thing though, this rivalitity from Sai made sorain want to train harder, if for no other reason to at least be able to say that he was on the same level as Sai. Sorain got up from bed and walked to the bathroom. He undressed and got into the shower, he took long showers and by the time he was out the water had turned ice cold. Brushing his teeth and hair he proceeded to get dressed. He opened his closet and for a moment he smiled. It had just hit him how limited a Shinobis wordrobe was. Most Shinibi had two to three outfits and a few outfits for cold weither. Besides that, it was the same things every day. He gazed at the many blue kimonos that looked almost exactly like the last. He grabbed them off the wall and slid them on. It was a loose fit, something that most Shinobis would think of as an disadvantag but it helped sorain we he used his gentle fist style to wear something that was loose and easy to move in. Sorain then headed to his huge desser and pulled out the normal things. His surgical mask, his gloves, and his head band. He reached to his neck to check to see that the necklace was still there and like always it was. He walked down stairs and got ready for breakfast. His mother had made apple cinimon oat meal and toast. Although Sorain disliked the fact that his mother was hidding things from him he could never bring himself to hate his own mother. He was a real mommas boy and he would be forever. After breakfast Sorain went to his brothers room and literally kicked the door down."Lets go buddy!" he yelled. His older brother got up and shook his low cut white hair and sighed"Fine, let me get dressed" he said Sorain turned and walked back downstairs to the living room. Razune got up and did almost exactly what Sorain did he opened his closet and pulled out a similar kimono that was all white instead of blue. He grabbed his head band, pouch of Kunai and four viles. Sorain sat on the couch and watched his mother clean and hum.'Yo mom, has the desolute on those samples i gave you kicked in?" he asked. His mother shook her head no. Sorain frowned. That guy Shinji had some kind of instant chakra merical drink and Sorain wanted to know what was in it and he would keep trying to find out untill he did. Razune came down stairs a few moments later"Alright lets get this over with. Where do you want to go? We need some water to do this and it would help if there was alot of it" Sorain frowned,"Fine. Ill take you to my lake dam it!" he said, knowing exactly what his brother was getting at. Sorain and his brother left the house and waved goodbye to there mom. In a matter of moments they were there."WoW. Nice Rain" he said looking at the glowing water of the lake,"Yea well, if you tell anyone about this I swear on fathers life that I will kill you in your sleep" Razune smerked"I dont think you got the balls" Sorain threw a Senbon at his brother who raised his hand catching it mid air,"Lets start shall we?" he said stepping out onto the water. Sorain followed and did the same. Razune looked almost exactly like sorain except taller and shorter hair."Now, i want you to watch the hand signs. That is the easy part" He said forming the hand signs slow then fast. Sorain imitated exactly."Nice. Now focus your chakra for use" he said. Sorain was already doing that,"Im no idiot. Give me the advanced course" he said rolling his eyes. Razune nodded. Concetrait on your chakra system and visualize recreating said sytem" Sorain nodded,"y...yes?" he said. He was putting alot of effort into it. Razune said calmly,"Now make one of your regular clones" Sorain did this with ease."Now I want you to look at that clone and visualize it with a charka system. You have to distribute the chakra evenly. Now cancle the clone." The clone dissolved away."Now you know how to minipulate water right?" he said folding his arms.Soran nodded and minipulated the water into a blob that could hardly be called a clone,"Now focus your chakra into the water and make a chakra system"Sorain did what he was told,"Now mold it, give it shape" He said and Sorain strained to do that. once he had the shape, he added the apperance. He was doing it, like everything else he tried to learn he was pretty good at it. The clone was there but it was not really. It was more like a hollow shell with chakra stored inside. Sorain was running low, he had to let the jutsu die, Razune clapped his hands"Well done. First part of the training done. Realized that you cant do it step by step" Sorain growled and then yelled at the top of his lungs,"What the hell do you mean you cant do it step by step, then why did you make me do this then!!!" "Calm down rain, do you want to learn or not. You have to realize that this all must be done at the same time" He said and then walked a few steps back"Do it again. This time, all at the same time. Do not do it step by step" he said. Sorain formed the hand signs and the water surface bulged up, then grew shape, then an appreance, then chakra but it could not move. It was another hollow shell,"Your sequncing" He said. Sorain frowned and let the jutsu die. He tried it again,"Water Clone Jutsu" Once agian from the water the water grew then bulged, and turned into another hollow shell. Razune sat down on the water,"Your just waisting chakra" Sorain turned and yelled,"Well tell me the trick to it then!" Razune said, "I already told you, do it all at once, give it an even amount of chakra. Thats it" He said and started to medditate in a similar fashion that Sorain often did. Sorain turned around and started pracacting. A few times he managed to make clones that could walk but they were mishapen and dripping. It took hours and he got nowhere. Sorain sat down on the water. He was tired as hell. A shadow over his body made him look up to see his brother standing there with a blue vile,"Drink and then start agian" he said. Now he knew why his brother brought the viles along. Sorain got up and stareted again. This time he was able to make the Clones move but had they were still mishapen, dripping, and blue. He signed and cancled the jutsu once more. Razune got up and formed three water clones. They seemed to just stand up out of the water."Like that" he said and sat back down as well as his clones who sat down too. The four of them started playing cards on top of the water, covering the cards with chakra so that they did not get wet. Sorain raised one eye brow and then walked over to each clone and poked them with a senbom making them dissolve."Stop playing around!" he yelled.

Sorain rolled his eyes and formed the hand signs and almost as soon as he did the clone rose. It apperaed to be intact and it even was able to move,"I.. I dont understand" He said at a lost. Razune walked closer,"You did it without thinking. You did not put as much sequence in it. You just did it, that is the way this works. Sometimes you over complicate things Sorain. This is one of the jutsu taht everyone learns. Its not really all that hard." He said and squeezed the neck of the clone causing it to drop like a bucket of water,"Again" he said and walked out of the way. Sorain formed a hand sign and said,"Water Clone Skill" He said and a slightly shorter version of Sorain stood up from the water and waved at Sorain."Alittle taller" Razune said and sorain tried again. After about two more tries it was done. He had created an almost perfect clone one that could move, talk, walk and since it did not fall through teh water it was using chakra."Make it do a jutsu something simple" He said. Sorain nodded and ordered the clone to do something, anything. The clone formed a hand sign"Hidden Mist Skill" A thick mist filed in and this made sorain smile big,"So? Does that count as a good clone?" Razune nodded."Now cancle, make three, then do heavenly spin" Sorains jaw dropped,"Fine!"

Sorain formed hand signs and from the water three clones stood and got ready"Alright guys, lets do this" He said. As if they knew exactly what he was thinking they all separated and formed a square,"Alright men Ready!?" He yelled, at the same time the other three shouted"Ready!" Sorain crouched and the clones did the same thing,"one. two. Three! Heavenly army spin!" All four of them spun at the same time cuasing a violent whirlwind on the waters surface. Through sorains eyes he could see the water raising around them as they made a hurricane effect. He felt his feet touch the ground. The water now had a huge moving circle in the middle. Sorain and the three clones ended the spin and teh water dropped around all of them. One at a time they all stood up out of the water. They all spoke at the same time at there brother,"So Raze. Who is the real one?" they all said smileing. Razune walked over to one of the clones and stabbed it making it turn to water, then passed the real sorain to the other two. Sorain was baffled,"How?" He said. Razune turned and said,"You forgot to distribute the chakra evenly dummy" Sorain frowned."Who cares, we are done now right" Raznune shrugged,"That depends. Is this all you want to learn?" Sorain thought about it."Im sure i can think of some other things"

"Well I think that you should work on spreading your chakra even first. BEcause if you ever incounter a opponant that can see chakra in any kind of way then they will instantly know which one of you is real and then they will be all over you" Sorain moaned in complaint,"Fine' he said and formed hand signs. he made two clones and then ran around in a circle to mix his brother up,"Now. Which is real?" They all said at the same time. Razune walked over to them and and poked both of the clones,"You still are not evening" Sorain frowned and then did it again. He ran in a circle, this time he made five clones. Onece again Razune poked all of them. This was starting to piss Sorain off. Sorain formed another set of clones, ten of them. There was no way he did not even it out cus he used all that he could. He made as many clones his chakra would spare."Now what?" Razune ran through the crowed and slamped his hand into all the clones,"You have less chakra than them" Sorain yelled in frustration. He made three more clones. Razune looked at them and then poked one of the clones. He then looked back and forth between the last three. He poked another clone he then took a long hard look at sorain and the clone. Jabbing one of them in the chest it fell into the water..."How!!??" Razune smiled,"Lucky guess... nice job rain" Sorain reached forwad and punched his brother,"I hate you sometimes" He said and walked off towards the shore where he sat and relaxed his chakra slowly returning."The next thing I will teach you will most likely be a clan jutsu." Sorain nodded and pulled out a bottle of sake that his brother promptly stole and chugged" You are the student, I the sensi. Only I will drink sake around here buddy" He said. Sorain got up and tacked his brother but he missed completey as his brother side stepped."I should make you run laps for that mister" Sorain growled, he really did hate his brother some times.

Sorain sighed and relaxed. He was tired,"Actually, i think that im going to just hold off for now" He said getting up and walking back home. He was tired. He did not feel like doing any more training for the day. He would pick this up tomorrow if he had to. The next thing he would learn was the 64 palm. That would make his absolute defense complete. He smiled at himself at the image of pwn-ning Sai with the 64 palm. He giggled to himself and walked in a bliss that only sake could bring. He was in a sober drunken state. That made no since at all but that was how he felt right now. As the sun began to set he pulled out a scroll and added Water Clone Skill to it. After he learned a few regular jutsu he would be ready to start on his medical book. Quote: 108/108 Water Clone Skill Complete

The next day sorain and his brother were already at it. They had already started the trianing for the day. It was gentle fist. They stood in one spot. Not moving much except in a circular fashion in a free set circle of side steping exchaning blow for blow. Sorain was getting more hits in but now in any vital places. His brother how ever was tagging sorain major chakra points with ease,"come on bro, you gotta be faster than that" He said yelling at sorain who was already struggling to keep up with the speed that they were going let alone having to go faster. Sorain leaned to the left dodgeing a strong blow. It was his wide opening and he had to take it. He leaned back for momentom and shoved both of his hands into his brothers open chest."Huh?" He said and the clone of his brother dissolved into the water. Sorain smiled and then dissolved his self. Sorain and Razune sat on a rock clapping,"Told ya my clone was stronger" He said. Razune frowned,"Once more, lets go" He said. At the same time they both formed hand signs and said,"Water Clone Jutsu" In the same area on the water two clones stood up to fight for there enjoyment. The fight went almost the same. The two clones exchanged blows and once again had an open strike but this time something was diffrent,"Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand Guardian Eight Divination Signs, Sixty-Four Palms of the Hand!" The clone yelled and began an assult on the clone sorains body, "two palm, four palm, eight palm, sixteen palm, thirty two palm! Sixty four palm!!" He said finishing off his massive assult. The clone Sorain fell obviously defeated and dissovled into the water. Sorain blinked twice,"What the hell was that!" Razune smiled,"Eh, cant tell you. Your from the branch" He said and started walking to the shore. Sorain ran in front of him"Aww come on bro. You know mother does not like it when you treat me unfairly cus of that" Razune pushed sorain to the side,"Yes, but she also does not like it when I dont follow the clans rules. The rules say you are not to learn this jutsu" He said ignoring sorains begs. But sorain had an ace in his pocket,"Teach me.....or I tell mom that you have been practicing dark medical arts!" He said. Razune,(who I will now call Raz for short) turned and yelled back,"So have you!" Sorain smerked,"Yea, but who was my teacher hmmm?" Raz frowned."Fine, you liitle snitch. ill teach you, but if mom ask why I did say because you kept bugging me and you forced me to do it got it?" Sorain nodded. "Got it"

"If I influence someone else then they are not following my path on their own accord, they are doing it because I swayed them"-Hyuuga Sorain Razune formed hand signs and made three water clones and devided them a good amount of chakra so that there points could be seen easily,"Ok, first lets make sure you got the gentle fist one hundred percent down. Just because you have the skill does not mean your ready for this attack. You have to have gentle fist down to the point where it is your main fighting style. If you want to do this you have to be devoted to the ways of our clan. Understand? " Sorain nodded" This means when you fight hand to hand there will be no more of this random recklace punching you do. You must made Gentle Fist seccond nature. You must make this your regular basis for attack do you understand?" Sorain nodded again,"Alrighty then. I also need you to agree and understand that no matter how much this training taxes you that you will do everything I tell you to do and finish it all today." Sorain nodded once more,"Alright then. Now we shall begin." He said walking over to one of his clones and sending it forward,"Strike the clones chakra point without destroying the clone." Sorain frowned,"What!? How am I supposed to do that. If the chakra flow is messed with the clone is gone." Razune smiled,"exactly, this exercise is not to teach you how to shut down chakra systems but it is to teach you how to controll the force that you put into teach blast. Now begin" Sorain stood closer and stood down into his gentle fist stance. He leaped forward and striked the clone in the chest, almost as soon as he made body conctant the clone fell into the water and dissolved. Sorain sighed and knew exactly what to without even being told. He walked to the next in line and tried again, his efforts were, yet again, futile. He struck the clone and the clone destroyed right after he did. This was making Sorain frustraited. He walked to the third clone and tried agian, this time he would strike less hard. He swung his arm forward and swung his arm snaping his fingers into the clones chest. The clone flinched but that was it,"Ha!. I did it" he said and turned to Razune."So Raz, whats next?" Razune smiled and then formed two more clones,"Now, strike twice" Sorain yelled with frustration. He swung back and hit the same clone again, then pulled his left arm up to strike a seccond time. Sorain did not even have to guess what would happen. Of course it would destroy, it would have been to easy to think that he could do it the first time. Things were never that easy he learned. Sorain stepped to the next clone and tried agian. To his dismay it crashed on the first hit,"Alright, tell me the trick to it already" He said to his brother who was standing there silantly,"Nope, not untill you can manage to land five successfull blows you will never know the secreate" Sorain tried for hours before he was able to meet this quota. Afterwards he was able to do it perectly,"Now what" he said, obvisouly loosing patients,"Next? Next you close five chakra points without destroying the clone" He said sitting down and pulled out a candy bar and watched sorain storm off towards the army of clones in a pissed off maner,"Hey, thats thirty clones dude. Figure it out before you run out of clones" he yelled. Sorain nodded and went to work."Byakugan!" He said and got ready to train.1,000 candles can be lit from a single flame and the life of the fire shall not be reduced. Like fire, kindness can be spread forever.

The sun was starting to come down as he got to the last of the clones that had been made for him to practice on. He had two left, it had to be now or never. Sorain attacked the clone again and in a matter of secconds closed off all five of the center chakra points. The clone was unable to move but it was in tact none the less."I did it, now what?" he asked. Razune stood up,"Good thing you took so long, gave me a chance to get my chakra back" he said walking over to Sorain and standing next to him,"Ok, now to teach you the form. This is us doing the attack without the chakra element added. Think heavenly spin without chakra." Sorain nodded and stood ready."Alright first you start with two quick strikes that land on the opponants body at the same time. You are to strike the chakra points located at the lower part of the neck and right above the waist line. These two strikes are weak but fast, they are ment to demobilize the target so that he cant move while you perform the attack. The two shots, should, stun the victem. Most people are not used to having chakra points hit so the average person wont be able to react for a moment, and that is all the time you need It also fluexuates the chakra setting them instantly off balance." He said and then curved his body over and throwing his right arm into the neck and the right arm around to the waist."Follow" he said and Sorain did the exact same motions. Razune stood up,"Next is the four palm, this is four strikes, two the the upper left and right shoulders two the lower left and right peck." He did the first 2 palms and then pulled back throwing his right hand then left, then right and left again. Sorain followed suit."Next is the eight strikes. This is alittle tricky so pay attention. You have to link these attacks together, after you strike with the left hand on the forth strike you strike again with your right then with your left then pull your left arm back and spin on the ball of your foot. This give you momentom to lead with the left again. This is now the third strike of the 8 palms. You then lead with your right arm then left over the mid drift area until you finish off the eight strikes" Razune Curved and did the first two strikes, then the four, he struck two more times then spun very quickly attaching the extra six hits on to make 8 strikes. It took Sorain a few times to get this part but eventually he did."Now you have to go to the sixteeth palm. When it was designed it was ment to focus on striking the bodys pressure points, however after the discovoury of the chakra system and chakra points it was converted to attack the chakra points however the concept remains the same. Although this attack is very offensive you have to realize that gentle fist is a very peacefull and nonagressive fightning style. It is ment for you to allow the enemy to come to you and counter them with loose fluid movements around the deventions, or feild of movement sort to speak. Hence the name gentle fist. The eight trigrams 64 palm is mearly an extention to the gentle fist style that generally uses the Earth Devention only, this is attacking stright ahead of you. But after practice it can be done from more than one side using the fire, thunder,earth,mountain,and water deventions. This would be East,North East,North, North West, and West Deventions." Sorain nodded, he had learned about deventions once from his father so this was just a recap,"The Hyuuga clansmen use this fighting style to symbolize harmony amung the warring elements. Its ment to be a weak but fast attack, its strength does not reply on your muscle it replys on your accuracy and precision. All of the Hyuugas attacks are based on the devintions and are used to practice this balance.
