A very young thrash band from the States, formed in 2004. They have only one full-length to date, "War Without End." They play totally old-school stuff, heavily influenced by Slayer, Metallica at their prime, Overkill, Kreator...etc.
Good to see classic thrash alive and well, if a bit unoriginal. I think their vocalist could do with a harsher tone and the drummer sounds a little manic, though.Band MySpace"Combat Shock" vid

I've seen them live twice, I didn't really like them. Their drummer is kick a** though, and they have a good sense of humor.

They've played close to me at tiny venues a few times, but I've never had a chance to go. I do have War Without End, and it kicks a**. The vocalist sounds a bit too much like screaming, but it works, I suppose.

The problem I have with the band is they sound too much like a regular thrash metal band from the 80's with the exception of "At the Crack of Doom". That song sounds so different I'm wondering why they didn't try to capitalize off that sound instead of the typical thrash.

Just saw them with Kreator, Exodus, and Belphegor. They were amazing, but their set was cut short for some reason. They played a song off the new album and Scorch will be glad to know its very "At the Crack of Doom" -ish. But that sound isn't unique, its very blackened thrash. I do enjoy it though. I expect good things.

They really have stepped it up on this second album in my opinion.

Sick band. I was very impressed, but don't forget the infulences that are shown and are some main reasons they play. For example, some of there biggests infuences are Demolition Hammer, Artillery, and Onslaught. That's where the singer gets his intense, Thrash/Death voice from. There are many underground thrash metal bands that are out there and have their own sound. I think these guys are gold, but I see others think otherwise.
Lol Onslaught was gonna be the bands first name, but it was already taken. xp
