Ligeia hadn't been getting out as much as he should lately, he spent most of his time holed up in his room studying his magic tomes or he was here at the park practicing. He had found it to be the best place to work on magic because there was a lot of open space to work with. He gave a smile to his dragon who was walking alongside of him carrying a large messenger bag full of the new books he'd bought today. The bag had been to heavy for the light weight owl to carry himself so the Frost had volunteered his strength.

"I think we will try something similar to what we were doing last time if that is alright." He told Vorel, having figured out a good way to go about practicing his control over ice without exhausting himself quickly.

"Alright, was a fun game." The Frost agreed, his voice a little muffled from the straps in his mouth.

Ligeia smiled then motioned to an empty, grassy area not far from where Alora was playing on the swings for them to set up. Vorel dropped the bag and proceeded to open his jaws wide to stretch out the muscles before giving a purring sound, "Say when."

Two pairs of eyes turned Alora's way and Vorel was quickly bouncing forward towards the small, winged girl in delight, "Ligeia look, its Alora!" He said in excited Draconic. He stopped just short of her, tail wagging.

The owl boy gave a smile and walked forward towards the girl, giving her a smile, "Its been a while Alora." The last time they seen each other was during her flying class. Which had him wondering how she was doing at it, if she had been able to practice the skill, "How are have you been doing?"

Vorel couldn't keep from purring as the girl gave him a snuggle, his long tail wagging behind him in a delighted manner, "Hello there Alora!" He said, nuzzling against the bird girl before looking over at his boy to translate.

Ligeia laughed, "Vorel says Hello." The owl boy told her, "I am doing alright, getting ready to practice magic with Vorel. Would you like to hang out with us?"

Vorel looked over at Ligeia before giving a delight sound, this meant that Alora would get to see him help Ligeia! His tail started to swish in delight over getting to show off how good a dragon he was to a girl. While he was no longer tackling all the girls he met now that he was bigger he was still a fan of the ones he referred to as 'Pretties' in his mind.

Ligeia smiled, "We figured out a way to practice magic without using up to much energy at once. We are wanting to put it to the test and see what we can do with it."

They had a few trial runs at it sure but nothing to big yet, that was what they had planned for today.

"You will be able to learn about it soon enough and you will be able to decide how you feel about it more easily." Ligeia said, motioning to Vorel who moved to take up his position, "I suggest that if you can you learn from many teachers, they have different methods and ideas but you learn more that way. I learned from Miss Millner and Mister Barkhelm both." The two teachers didn't seem to share many of the same ideals but both were great teachers once you got passed their dispositions.

"Ready?" He asked of Vorel.

The Dragon nodded, inhaled deeply and then breathed out his icy breath into the air.

Ligeia concentrated and as his dragon breathed out he lifted his hands, using the ice as a regent for his magic and manipulated the ice in the air. It was much easier, less exhausting to use premade ice in a spell then having to create it from scratch.

He soon had many shards of ice swirling around him and he smile, "Great! It works!" He said excitedly.

Vorel gave a happy sound before he reached out to snatch one of the ice shards out of the air and started to chew on it causing Ligeia to giggle a little and glance over to Alora, "Frost dragons love eating frozen things even if its just ice." He explained to her.

Ligeia concentrated on the shards, it was a lot harder to get multiple ones under ones control then it was to have just one. It would make the spell over all more effective though in the end, "Thank you, it does look neat the way the sun reflects off the shards, huh?"

The only problem about practicing outside at this time of day was that he had to put a lot of power into the ice to keep it from melting... he allowed the shards to fall to the ground so he could take a breath of air.

"Vorel does eat meat but at the same time he will also eat anything else he can get into." Ligeia told her before taking a step closer to the Frost and get him a poke in the belly, "Its why hes a bit chubby."

Vorel leaned over so that he could push Ligeia with his head causing the owl to squeak, flail his arms, and land on his backside, "Not chubby!" He defended himself, then seemed to pout a bit causing the owl to giggle.

"Alright, alright. Not chubby, just stout." He said.

The Frost smiled and nodded, having no idea what stout meant he would agree.

Vorel's eyes went wide and he gave a huffing sound, even the pretty birdy thought that he was getting chubby? His pushed up onto his hind legs before looking down, poking at his stomach with his forelegs, "Not fat..." He grumbled, turning his gaze to Alora and gave her a pathetic look, wanting her to agree with him.

Ligeia couldn't help but laugh, lifting his hands to smother the sound a bit before he hopped up, flapped his wings up so that he could wrap his arms around Vorel's neck, "We are teasing, Vorel. You are the most beautiful dragon in D-Corp, you know that. Just look at your name!" He said, wanting to assure his dragon.

Vorel blinked before nodding and turned to look at Alora, "Tell, Alora what name means?" He requested of his boy.

The owl gave a nod, "He wanted me to tell you his name means 'beautiful' in Draconic." He said, grinning. He'd never seen his dragon be vain before, it had to be because there was a pretty girl present while Ligeia teased him.
