Kukki lay on the grass underneath the rising sun's shadow. The dew was fresh amongst him, and cool from the near past night. The cicadas and toads were just beginning to quiet down, and the flowers were opening their petals for the first time since dusk. Something in him told him something special would happen soon, but he hadn't an idea what.

Aderyn was actually walking around on the ground, something that was very odd for her. She usually flew around in the air until she had no other possibility or if she was playing around with Kukki. Of course...playing around might have gotten her into this spot. You see....Aderyn had a slightly bigger belly then normal. She was pregnant! And who else but Kukki could be te wonderful father? She couldn't wait to tell him the news! She trotted around until she spotted him, and then called out to him playfully.
"Ohhhhh Kuuuukki!" She said, hiding a small smirk that was forming on her lips.

"Morning..." Kukki sluggishly said as he stretched out in the grass, his fur brushing the water from it, and giving a large yawn before looking up to see Aderyn. He waved at her from on the ground, still half asleep.

Aderyn trotted over to him, pouncing on top of him to show him the obvious weight change. It was amazing how many pounds you gained when carrying around kids! She smirked, and rolled off of him to lay on her back, her flaming wings darting out on either side of her.
"Kuuuukki! Wake up silly!" She said, refusing to say anything about the kids until he noticed first.

Kukki yelped as Aderyn pounced him, she feeling heavier than normal. 'Better not say anything about the weight' he thought as he sat up, admiring how her wings flamed yet nothing ever caught fire. He yawned once more before actually waking up, and saying in his normal squeaky voice, "I aaaam Aderyn!" and running over to her, smiling.

Aderyn whined lightly, and wiggled around on the ground, surprised by the fact Kukki had still not noticed what was different. She decided to push the subject a little harder, hoping he'd get the hint. Of course, there was no telling with Kukki!
"Kukki! How many kids do you want?" She asked, smiling innocently and resting her paws on her exposed stomach.

Kukki laughed first before putting on a serious face for his reply. "I want seven kids..." He then burst out laughing again, unable to keep a serious face for much time at all. He wiped away the tears he got from laughing from his eyes before attempting to answer again. "I was serious about the number, but why are you asking?"

Kukki actually managed to distract from her goal with his answer. She busted out laughing. She couldn't help but me amused by his comment, mostly because of how serious he was! She continued to giggle for some time, before she could actually blurt out the truth. She wasn't going to waste any more time! It was obviously a hopeless wait!
"Kukki! You're going to be a Daddy!!! Or better yet, My Froggie King!" She said, still staying on her back.

Kukki still softly laughed for a little bit before the thought actually sunk in. A moment of silence passed before he blinked. "Eeeeeh?" he exclaimed as he tried to grasp it. "y-you mean that in there," he pointed to her stomach, "are little namrah? MY little namrah?"

Aderyn smiled, watching Kukki's look of surprise. He was the most amusing person she knew, and she hoped the kids would be just like him. She had a much duller personality then he had. She laughed lightly now as he pointed to her stomach and she nodded slowly. "Your's and mine." She said, now with a silly smile on her face.

Kukki looked around, laughing nervously. "This isn't some kind of prank, is it?" There was no way he could be a father. He had no idea how he could be, he was basically an adult kit himself. They would hate him, he was sure of that.

Aderyn sighed and nuzzled into Kukki, she could tell he wasn't very sure about the fact. She was a little nervous, but she didn't want him to be! "Kukki! They'll love you to death! Who wouldn't? After all, I love you!" She said, smiling to him brightly.

Kukki smiled, still slightly nervous, but feeling more assured now. "If you say so, then it must be true." He nuzzled her back, then a thought came to him. What was he supposed to do before the babies came? Was there anything at all he should be doing?

Aderyn was relieved when Kukki was reassured by what she said. And she was sure she was telling the truth! She could tell that they were going to have a wonderful family, so she really wasn't allowing herself to worry. She plopped back down onto the ground and closed her eyes. She'd always slept a lot, but with kids on their way, she found herself sleeping even more than usual. Not to mention all the random pain that came with being pregnant. At least she'd kept herself from getting sick. She really didn't feel like pucking her guts out at all.
"Kukki~ Im huuungry..." No wonder she was getting bigger...

Kukki turned to Aderyn and laughed at her complaining. "You know it won't do me any good if you don't tell me what you're hungry for." he lightly joked, sticking his tongue out and laughing. "But seriously, what do you want?"
