 I've been in this forum for about half a year, and have seen several different points of view on Queenslash...and slash in general-but I'm talking about Queen here, people.
Most of you are for it (some obsessively are, but in a good way), some are horribly against it and some don't care and choose to ignore the radicals in this guild.
I'm not talking about Freddie, I'm talking about Queenslash within the band, kk?
What are your opinions on it? Love it? Hate it? For the love of Queen, WHY/WHY NOT?

Eh, I'm not really for or against it. I don't like hardcore slash, but some slash, mainly because it was well written, I've read before..

Whoa it's been a long time since I've been here.
I'm completely for it and read it on a regular basis. I completely respect the people portrayed in said fics and do not under any circumstances expect them to act in such a way outside of the fangirlish mind.

Anywho...I never much cared for Queen slash. I just don't dig fiction in which they're banging each other, y'know? It's not that I hate all fan-fiction that makes any sort of assumption or guess into what could have gone on in the personal lives of the Queen guys because it is "disrespecting the band", or whatever--in fact, I'll more than happily read a dementia-ridden romp through their early days, weird jokes and poking-fun-at-band-members jokes and all, and nearly always enjoy it thoroughly. But yeah...for me, slash between the Queen members doesn't seem all that entertaining, or even very believable. I mean, Brian doesn't at all strike me as being gay, or even bisexual. Neither do John and Roger, really. Virtually every Queen slash fic I've stumbled across, I just haven't "gotten into", so to speak. It's all a matter of taste, I guess.
So, in the sense that I don't personally enjoy reading it, you could say that I'm "against" Queen slash. But, (and this is one thing that I want to emphasize more than anything else) I do not do not DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT believe that people who read slash are evil and it should all be stopped once and for all. If you like reading slash, go to town. If you like writing slash, fine by me. It's like rap music or the Twilight Series or Family Guy--I myself don't really like it, but if it floats your boat, go ahead--it won't bug me one iota.

Because you are evil and should go kill yourself...erm, please don't take me seriously-It's 5:30 am and I'm not in my right mind. Of course it'd unlikely, but those are the joys of a fangirl's mind! and and for the rest of the band being bi? In RL, from what I've seen, Brian and John, no. Roger? I can definitely see him as being bi. But, if anyone wants to start that up, start a different thread up.
