Neil prided himself in the ability to react decently in any situation that he has ever come across. He has dealt with almost every kind of costumer, the whiner, the thief, the ham, the yeller, the molester (his pants will never fit the same way again), the flirter, the grunter, and even the person who will find fault with everything. Even his nephews smile. Neil had to admit that Tanz had an awesome smile, though the admission would just be in his head, never would he ever speak the words to the brat. He didn’t need more pestering then was absolutely necessary.
When Neil took the time out of his day to go grab some supplies, which where now rolling around the seating area, he did not expect for the little note, which had apparently turned into this – this thing.
The beast on the stage attempted to sit up from his position on the floor, but his movements were awkward and lethargic, like he was waking up from a dream. But a snort and a cough made him roll onto his stomach to look at the man that was glaring at him. Seeing hostility, the child did the only thing it knew how to do when faced with something hostile. Growl and curl his lip over his tiny white baby teeth.
“Whadda ya want?”
“Who might you be?”
They both asked, one in a high pitched growl and the other in an annoyed snarl. The glares sharpened when they both kept their silence.
“Beast.” The small furry figure on the stage answered after a minute or two of just glaring. Maybe if he answered the scary mans question he would answer his. Or tell him what he is supposed to do now. Beast felt a pull with the man, but from the look on his face he didn’t feel the same. That made something in his chest clench and pulse. Rubbing a hand over the part that hurt did nothing to dullt he pain.
Neil raised his eyebrow as he contemplated the little ball of fur in front of him. “Fuzz butt.” He mumbled to himself and then projected his voice to reach the little guy as he finally stumbled up onto his hands and knees and then finally awkwardly onto his clawed feet. “I came to see if someone could do something about a little piece of paper, but it seems I have only gotten a bigger problem.” Narrowing his eyes he sighed and went to go pick up the colored pencils that had started a journey to the dark depths of the theater.
Beast had the feeling he did something bad, but even the curiosity as to what the man was doing still wouldn’t tear his ears from the top of his head. Making a decision, because Beast didn’t want this man to be mad at him, he carefully walked across the stage and down the stairs, making sure not to scratch the floor with his tiny claws. He didn’t want that tone of voice used with him anymore.
Not looking up from where he was trying to grab a oceanic blue from underneath a particularly small fold out seat Neil noticed the ball of fuzz had finally gotten off the stage and was trying to help. He would give the little guy points for helping, but he was still in the negative for not making the pull go away, if anything it strengthened with the appearance of the kid. Was this what his brother felt all the time when he was near Tanz?
After they had finally found all the pencils and put them back into the torn box, Beast wasn’t paying attention and he tore the soft cardboard when he was trying to jam a pencil back into the tiny slot. Sniffling, but refusing to let any tears fall Beast just handed the box back to Neil and he placed them back into his bag and turned around without saying a word to Beast.
Growling, because after all he just did Beast deserved more then the cold shoulder, he ran after Neil as he just walked right out the doors that seemed dimmed but not much. Neil paused outside, only because he had to reorient himself and he walked briskly towards the entrance, seeming to not notice that a little ball was fast on his heels.

Peter Panchii was not having a good week. Not only for some, unconiviable reason a teenager with a book deicded to give him a small child to take care of but now the kid wouldn't leave him alone. It was hard enough to get some tail without having to deal with this annoying little brat. Okay, she was cute and it's true if he went to the supermarket with her he got some pretty interesting offers, aparently chicks dig the responabilty thing but it was a pain having to deal with her all the time.
He deicded to head back to the theature, maybe convince someone to take care of the small girl instead of him. That and he wanted to get her out of the house. The bright sun was murder on his hangover but she just wouldn't shut up. So he put on his biggest shades and took out one of his cancer sticks to cure some of his cravings. Hang overs were delt with better when he had a smoke.
When he noticed the shade he almost let out a whimper and walked straight to it. Maybe he could get a moment's rest against the wall of the building before he headed inside to...try and find that little rat, Noah or something. He didn't know but right now all he wanted was his ciggerate and to quietly die.
Tinkerbelle was not happy, not happy at all. She was left with the boring babysitter again last night and once again Peter was moaning and complaining all the time. Worse of all she knew why they were at the Theature again.
Peter didn't like her. Tinkerbelle had no idea why. After all, just yesterday she made his apartment all pretty. All that boring white was just begging for a little color. So she took her crayons and made it pretty. And today she woke up all on her own and made herself breakfast. Aparently he doesn't like it when she messes with the kitchen.
Tinkerbelle pouted, crossing her arms as he almost sumbled into the shade. It was rude to be comming here all the time. She wanted to go somehwere fun! The fairy child stamped her foot once, trying to get his attention but all she managed to do was spread her dust everywhere.
"I want to go somehwere fun!" she complained loudly, making Peter wince.
"And I want a threesome. We don't always get what we want." Peter grumbled. "If you be quiet I'll take you to the park later. Okay?"
Tinkerbelle mulled over that deal. She didn't like being quiet, it was boring, almost as boring as an empty theater. There was no one to watch her dance and sing if it was empty but the park was fun.
"Can we get ice cream afterwards?"
"Sure, sure, whatever you want. Just shut up." Peter moaned, holding his head and wishing the world would stop spinning.
Tinkerbelle grinned at the prospect of ice cream and parks so she went silent. She didn't, however, promise to not go anywhere so she decided the best thing she could do with an empty theater is explore it. That could be fun. She grinned and headed for the entrance of the theater but stopped when the door opened without her touching it. Her wings fluttered a bit as she was pulled back and landed on the ground as they came out. An adult like Peter who looked annoyed and.....a fluffy doggy, that stood on two legs, how cool! She ran right up to the doggy and grinned.
"Fluffy doggy! How cool!" she said and reached out to pet the Beast.

Beast was growling. It was a constant rumble in the back of his throat. After taking three wrong turns Neil finally lead them back to the lobby, but he had not said three sentences to Beast since he told him his name and where he lived. Nothing else. And any time he tried to talk Neil would either ignore him or glance at his watch. It seemed that he had somewhere he needed to be and Beast was just a loose string.
Coming out the big glass doors Beast tried to keep up with the disgruntled man but he had already pulled out his phone and was speaking quickly with the person on the other end. Beast was about to go all out and fall onto his hands to run after Neil but a little voice stopped him. And a hand soon followed.
“Doggy?” Not knowing what a dog was Beast looked around and didn’t expect the sparkly girl to touch him. Jumping up with his hair standing on edge to sat back on his haunches and looked a the pink girl before him. She had wings. And seemed to be leaking shiny stuff everywhere. Beast’s ears stood up in curiosity as he sniffed around the girl. He couldn’t help himself. She looked a lot nicer then Neil or the weird guy who was sitting in the shade.
“Who are you?” Beast finally grumbled out, attempting to sound big and intimidating, but it came out sounding the opposite.

Tink gasped then the 'doggy' talked. She was amazed. She didn't know dogs could talk, then again when she looked at him closely she could tell he didn't look like much of a dog at all. Oh there was some dog like qualities to him but no dog she knew had horns, or had fur that felt this way. She frowned as she looked him over, then smiled again. Ether way he was fuzzy, and to the small child, fuzzy was cool.
"I'm Tinkerbelle Panchii." she said proudly, her wings fluttering a bit to bring her up in the air before letting her land again. She had complete control already. "Are you like me? Were you born on the stage?" she asked eagerly, glancing up to the man on the cell phone and decided he was beneth her interest.
Not only was he not fuzzy he obviously wasn't paying attention to her so why should she pay attention to him. So she turned to flash her warm smile back to the fuzzy not-doggy. He really was cool. The little stubby horns looked neat. She wondered if all things born from the stage would look weird. Then decided that was cool too.
"You're fuzzy! That's so cool." she added, smiling at him as she reached over to pet him again. "I'm only sparkly, but that's cool too." she asured him. Her wings flaped once, then twice to spread around her sparkles everywhere.

“Beast.” Beast introduced himself as he watched Tinkerbelle float from the ground into the air. The sparkles were going everywhere. Not that Beast minded.
“Born from the stage?” Beast didn’t quite get what she meant, but he did remember staring up at the ceiling and rolling over and looking at the rows and rows of seats that made up the audience until he saw the scowling man who was now yelling into his cell phone. Beast winced and turned towards the pink sparkle of a little girl and hoped she didn’t notice. He didn’t want the first impression of his-
“What’s a father?” The words were out of Beast’s mouth before he could even think them. He didn’t know why they came out, it just seemed like the right thing to say. His ears went down as he dreaded the answer from the winged girl, she was a lot smarted then he was, so hopefully she would know…

Now that was a question. Tinkerbelle spared a glance for the man yelling into the phone and let out a small sniff of disaproval. After all, there was no need for yelling. At least not when kids were around. She glanced to her own 'father' (Peter didn't really fall under the father catagory, he was really more of a guardian) but he was just moaning quietly in the shade.
"I think it's a person, a male person, who loves you forever and ever and most of all. A person who you're always best too." Tinkerbelle said quietly before turning to look at the fuzzy Beast. He looked annoyed and since she still hadn't completely ruled out the doggy possiblity she reached over and scratched behind his ears.
"That's what I think. I don't have a father. But I do have a Peter." she said proudly, pointing to the moaning man. "He's the one over there. He stinks today which means his head hurts." she explained. "It's better if you just talk to me. I'm not stinky at all."

Beast grumbled at Tinkerbelle’s explanation but didn’t move as she scratched him. It actually didn’t feel bad at all; the spot behind his ear made his tail start to wag, making some of the sparkles fly up off the ground.
“I’ve been nice to him,” Beast grumbled as he leaned into the small girls touch. “But he is just Neil.” He just wished that he would be nice back, but he just seemed annoyed and angry.
Beast look a wiff of the pink girl, she didn’t smell stinky, but she did smell. But everything had a smell. The theater smelled old and spicy, Neil smelled dusty and stiff. Beast didn’t know how anyone could smell stiff, but the man seemed to have it down to a pat.
“You don’t smell bad.” Beast grumbled as he finally leaned away from Tink’s addicting touch. He didn’t know why, but Beast had the feeling that it was bad manners to have a girl scratching him so much, and enjoying every minute of it.

Tinkerbelle smelled of spices and forests. She smelled of freedom and magic. She smelled of a childhood that was only a few sprinkles of dust away, no matter how old you got, or didn't get. She smelled of things that nether really knew of yet, but she entranced with the smell just as she did with her touch, or soft voice. She was made for pleasing the opposite sex, luckily both were too young to understand exactly why.
"Thank you." she said brightly as she let her hand fall. It was getting tired away but she was glad to know that he liked the scratches. It would be something she'd remember in the future about him. "And it's okay. Peter isn't really nice to me ether. Can you believe it? I think that's just how these people are." She frowned over the thought and shrugged.
"At least we have people like us right? I think you're nice to me." she said brightly, pretty happy now with comming here. Making friends wasn't boring at all and he was fuzzy, how cool!

There was a mental click that went on in Beasts mind. It moved Tinkerbelle from Stranger to Friend. If she was having troubles with her Peter like he was having with his Neil, then she was alright. Especially if she gave such good scratches. Nodding to himself Beast looked over at the man that was attempting to nap, hopefully Neil would watch where he was going and not walk right over him. Then if Peter was anything like Neil, there would be a whole other world of shouting.
Smiling Beast wagged his tail a bit. Now that Tinkerbelle felt the same, he didn’t feel so bad about the man he was following. “You’re nice though.” Beast didn’t understand how someone couldn’t like the sparkly person in front of him his eyebrows scrunched to show his confusion. She was too pretty to dislike. For him at least.
“People like us?” Beast blinked and looked around. He didn’t see anyone else with wings, or fur or shiny dust. So what was she talking about? “Where are they?” Beast wanted to know if there was anyone else like him, that would make him even happier then meeting Tinkerbelle made him.

Tinkerbelle shrugged. Honestly she didn't know where the others were, but she did know there were others. After all Beast was like her and she was pretty sure she saw some dark looking kid when she arrived. She hadn't met any of them but Beast though.
"I dunno." she admited. "You're nice too. I love your fur." she complimented. She didn't tell him that because he praised her but because she did. Tinkerbelle was a pretty honest girl, at least as long as it served her to be. She moved and ruffled up Beast's fur before giggling over how he looked.
"Silly Beast, Silly Beast." she chanted but all in good fun as her wings started to buzz and she was lifted into the air, spreading her dust everywhere, even a good portion landing on Beast.

Trying not to be sad about not knowing where everyone else was, Beast had the feeling that they would come around sooner or later. Maybe they could meet them together? Beast would like that.
Scrunching up his nose at his now rumpled hair Beast grumbled good naturally as he combed his tuff back into place with his slightly clawed fingers. He had to be careful or he would get his fingers tangled, and then he would rip his hair. That hurt. But Tinkerbelle’s giggle brought a small smile that he tried to hide by running his hands over his nose.
“M’ not silly.” Beast tried to defend himself as he watched the girl take to the air. He didn’t even sneeze as the sparkly dust got into his nose, he was too busy concentrating on the buzzing noise and the girl as she floated. His eyes got wide and his jaw opened a bit. “You can fly?”

Tinkerbelle giggled again at Beast's claim to not be silly. She didn't mind the pride but enjoy his ability to not take offense at everything. She smiled happily at his surpise at her flying as she buzzed around a bit before landing again.
"Course I can fly. I got wings don't I?" she asked with a smile, fluttering them again. "What good are wings if you can't fly? Pretty silly to have things that you can't use or enjoy, right?" she asked him warmly. She liked having a friend.

“Sparkly wings.” Beast muttered to himself as he resisted the urge to do something like touch them. He hid this look of wonder as he tried to brush some of the glitter from his fur. It wasn’t as easy as it looked.
After deeming the fight to rid his brown fuss of Tinkerbelle’s glitter he glanced down at his clawed fingers and then poked his teeth, which liked to stick out over his lips when he closed his mouth.
“Then what do you think I could use these for?” Beast asked Tinkerbelle, she seemed to know a lot more about the world then he did. Neil might know more but he was turning an interesting shade of red and stomping near the tree where Tinkerbelle said her Peter was.

Tinkerbelle smiled and preened at the compliment. She loved compliments. She noticed the way he just stared at her though, making her wonder if he might want to touch them. She didn't mind much about her wings being touched as long as it didn't hurt. She was about to tell him it was okay when he distracted her with another question. She looked over the claws and fur with a frown.
"Dogs use claws and fur to protect themselves and those they love. Maybe that's what they're for." she theroized. It was the only thing that made sense. "You're sorta like a doggy. Only better." she praised with a smile.
Peter on the other hand glanced up at the annoyingly loud man. He let out a small growel as he suddenly stood up and grabbed the man's phone before throwing it far away.
"Shut. Up." he muttered darkly.

“Protect?” Beast’s eyebrow scrunched as he clenched his fingers (claws) and relaxed them. Opening them and closing them. He could deal with that. A Protector. Looking up at Tinkerbelle he ignored the little itch at the back of his neck, it never happened before so the little cub wouldn’t know that it meant something was going to happen, for good or for bad. Beast didn’t know what a dog was, but it felt nice to be told that he was better.
Looking to the side, towards the Theater, not the chaos that was about to break out, then back to the girl Beast asked in a small voice. “Can they be used to protect friends too?” Beast sure hoped so, he didn’t know what he would do if Tinkerbelle got hurt when he could have helped. It would destroy him.
Neil was in the middle of a very aggravating conversation with his brother, the older one, the one that left him and Shiri to take care of the Café that he bought and then went to get married to a girl that he never talked about. While he saw the man that was napping, not for lack of trying, under the tree, he never thought he would acknowledge him. When his conversation was suddenly cut off and thrown to the side Neil could not help but pause.
In the presence of red shot eyes and the lovely attitude Neil could only do one thing.
Raising his eyebrows, quickly taking note where his cell phone was thrown, he stared at the young man and asked in a bored voice, “Can I help you?”
