Name : Evelyn/Eevee Chrochraine
Gender : Female
Age : 15
Year : Fifth
House : Ravenclaw
Ethnicity : French/Canadian
Hair/Eye Color : Black
Pet : A Pixie named Berek (pronounced as "bare-ik")
Home Life : Lived in Quebec until the age of three, now living in Northern Maine. Her mother and father both speak fluent French. She has a young brother named Dalton. They live in a generous sized house, however they aren't filthy rich. Her mother works as a divorce lawyer for Witches and Wizards and her father designs and crafts cauldrons.
Diving deeper : Eevee's self confidence bubbles like boiling water. She knows when she can or cannot do something. When something great is achieved of her, she shows it. However, some people can mistake this for arrogance and immediately put her in the snobbish stereotype. Eevee is nice to everybody she meets, that is, until they've given her a reason to show other feelings. She has a powerful love of learning, for the sake of knowing more than everyone else. She loves to answer peoples' questions because she feels somehow above them. So she is somewhat arrogant, but she keeps these feelings to herself. She has a compassionate personality, but doesn't let it interfere with her studying. She cares about all living things and is always trying to meet in the middle with her caring, and her learning.
Taking a closer look : Eevee sat in the study, pouring over a new textbook she received, World Civilizations. It was summer work for a Muggle School Class she was taking. She requested an Independent Study, and the teacher agreed. She assumed the book would be boring and naught but a droning tone with just fact after fact. But she found it fascinating. Berek flitted around the study, reading names of other books Eevee kept. Eevee's younger brother of six years came in. Without looking up, Eevee said quietly to him, "Not now, Dalton, I'm studying." Dalton, her brother, whined, "Come on! You're always reading these tatty old books... Come play Wizard's Chess with me!" Eevee pushed some hair out of her face and looked at Dalton. Berek flitted over to her and sat on her shoulder. "Dalton," Eevee started, "I'll come beat you at Wizard's Chess as soon as I finish this passage." She saw Dalton's eyes light up as he plopped down beside her, beaming. "You're not sitting here until I finish, Dalton, now go bug mum or something..."
"Aww!" Dalton whined. Eevee looked at him and said, "Take Berek with you, he'll keep you company." Eevee felt a flutter of wings on her neck where Berek was. Eevee gave him her best 'what-can-I-do?' look. Dalton was at the door and looking back at them. Eevee gave a jerk of her head towards Dalton and Berek fluttered towards him, first speaking, his voice tiny, like that of Professor Flitwick of Hogwarts, "You owe me for this Eevee!" Eevee laughed and agreed, "O'kay, Berek, I owe you." Berek sassed, "You owe me nine! Actually!" When they were gone, Eevee returned to her book, quite lost in the words.
