Friend just invited me to join his arena team on my rogue. However...... before we start the team my rogue needs 300 resilience.
Which of the four BGs gets me the most honor? Badges are farming easily, just....... I need tens of thousands of honor each piece.
I'm Alli, Ruin battlegroup.

Run the BG that the weekend is of with a bit of AV thrown in?
I'm probably the worse person to be answering this but it seems to make the most sense.

What you do is you join an AV. You go on the offensive, and you stay with the big group. When you run into the D, if you can aoe, all the better. If you can't aoe, stay a ways back. Hit as many people as you can. Dot them, aoe them, whirlwind, whatever. Just be crazy- survivability isn't a huge issue here, but honestly the longer you stay alive the more efficient you are, so don't go too crazy. When the Alli/Horde you're spamming the s**t out of die, be it by your hand or someone else's, you will get honour.
If you don't dps, hang back and heal as many ******** as you can. Cuz if you heal them, and then they kill someone, you get honour. Pick a big scary lookin warrior in full vengeful and follow him like a retarded puppy.
The point is to heal/hit as many people as possible. Once you have a good amount of people damaged through aoe or dots or whatever, THEN you can start focus-firing them and dropping them.
But if your faction just really really sucks at a particular BG, don't hang around and see if it'll get better. Find something else. I personally like EotS because they're short and brutal if you get a nice retard ******** going at the flag.
The point is not necessarily to win the BG, just kill as many mofos as you can. Course if you win in the process, there you go. Point is you get more honour from being on O than you do from being on D, if you're just guarding a node and not in a heavily contested hotspot node and defending it.
I recommend AV because a lot of people like it, therefore the queue times are usually shorter and since the O vs D fights near the bunkers can get pretty heavy sometimes, and you'll get a lot of honour quicker than you would in short small skirmishes in say WSG.
AB is nice if you're constantly assaulting something like the blacksmith (which always seems to have like a billion Alliance in it, you guys must really like your forges) with a large group.
TL;DR:
-Stay in a large group
-AV > EotS > AB (do not try WSG)
-AoE the s**t out of stuff
-MO KILLINS IS MO BETTA
-Try to stay on Offense unless D is being heavily, constantly assaulted, then defend
-Fight and kill/hurt as many people as possible
-Heal as many people as possible

on Ruin, AV queue is anywhere from 7-10 minutes.
EotS is instant, though. Everyone likes EotS.....
and Karn, Blacksmith is in the middle! So Alli noobs think they need to defend it, even though stable/farm, gold mine, and lumber mill is easier to defend. plus if farm is capped we can camp the hordes spawn point...

AV GETS YA THE MOST HONOR,
SPECIALLY IF YOU CAP ALL TOWERS, KILL GALV, KILL A FEW HEADS, AND TAKE OUT DREK BEFORE HORDE GETS TO VAN,
YOU CAN PULL CLOSE TO 500+ HONOR ALL THE TIME WITH THAT

Don't forget that you can turn in a eots, ab, av and wsg mark for 300 some honor as many times as you want everyday. Trust me, that adds up faster than you'd think.
Also, while you wait for an av queue do another bg to fill in the wait time. The key is to be in as many bgs as possible. As for resilience, to make it faster to your 300 goal, get resil gems. There's the unique halaa one you can buy for 100 battle tokens, again, very easy to acquire. Also, get gems that have things like +stam and +resil, I'm not saying to get the stam one, but try to get some that have resil on them as well as another stat you need.
Oh, and I highly highly highly recommend getting the 40k medallion trinket, that extra resilience is worth it. And don't buy any pieces until after the patch Tuesday, I'm not sure if you know, but season 2 will be purchasable with honor ;D!

Kimberly Ferris Ruin alliance always wins AV. 80-90% of the time. You may find it useful to lose 10 games a week for pointzzzzzz also. ps im in ur bgroup lolz. WE WIN WSG SOMETIMES TOO. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/7261/rolledkk3.jpg Wow lucky. We used to win about 80%, but then they changed AV, and our battlegroup alliance wins like... 15-20%. But it's still probably the best honor for us if we don't get unlucky (EOTS weekend almost is as much...) EOTS and AB always take forever if it's not a premade. (If you get in a good premade for WSG, that can be really fast honor.)

Ruin you say? Yeah, I am on Ruin myself. AV is the good Honor one as usual, however AB does a bit too on Ruin. We have a lot of people who want their shoulders, at least Alli side on Argent Dawn.
