< History > The Icarii are a caste of their own in the boudnaries Yeovil. The capital city, Ondinium, is built into the very mountain. At the heart of the mountain beas the heart of the Great Engine - a highly advanced and highly coveted type of computer. The city is highly segregated, with the different sections set by gates. The only way through these gates is with the proper papwerwork and/or identification. This country is run via a council which is no where close to a democracy, but the monarchy was disposed of hundreds of years before.
< Religion > All people were Forged by the Lady goddess.
< Castes >
Exalted - are those of the highest caste. These people are the ones that run the country. They act as the nearest thing to the Lady - wearing masks, long flowing robes, and staying completely away from everyone. The Exalted are a part of the city in Oporphyr Tower and the Primus section.
Cardinals - are a kind of middle class. They are the merchants, craftsmen, educated, and military, of the country. These people reside in the Secundus section.
Plebians - are the peasants and factory workers of the city. The only thing lower them them are Foreigners. They reside in the Tertius secion of the city.
Icarii - are the messengers of the country. Mostly, they stay in the city of Ondinium, but if they are in the diplomatic or military sections of the Icarii Corps then they go out. They can are also the rescuers in situations which call for their unique abilities. They can move freely among all sections of the city, but they live up at their Eyries.
< Tattooes >
Exalted - have blue wave tattooes on their cheeks.
Cardinals - have red tattooes on their face. (aka - dunno, but they have a tattoo)
Plebians - wear a black circle tattoo on their foreheads.
Icarii - do not wear tattooes.
< Place in Society > All people undergo the Great Examination when they reach puberty. This Examination determines a person's place - and where they will go. Some examples are: military, engineers, clothes designer, icarus. A person's caste is taken into consideration, there is no "moving up". The icarii, however, are determined by this Examination. They are highly prized in the city, and are of a caste of their own. However, they are one and a part of everyone else.
>> Apearances:
< Stature > All Icarii are short. They are to be of the smallest people, so there is the least weight to them. Their hair is generally cropped, so that it does not get too much in the way of their sight nor does it get caught in things. They are very well built, especially with their upper-body which controls the movement of their wings.
< Unique Attributes > There is one real way to recognize an Icarus - their giant, over 12-foot sized metal wings. Their wings are made of ondium - a lighter-than-air metal that allows these humans the ability to fly. Their wings are in fact a full armature - which compromises of the wings, joints, and a tail section.
< Tattooes > Generally, Icarii wear no tattooes.

Occupation :: Recently Graduated College Student: Pilot-for-hire, Amateur Archaeologist
Personality :: Usually, Echo is a very happy kind of person; cheerful with bright eyes. She is usually very curious, but many plans are thwarted from her extreme clumsiness. She isn't just slightly off her rocker, the woman is a walking time-bomb when it comes to how clumsy she is. At this point, she has accepted it; though her tendency to fail has started to eat away at her self-confidence. When it comes to her studies and flying, though, Echo is not clumsy or a failure. She gains a kind of professional attitude that allows her to succeed in those two subjects.
