Alright, its time yet again for another odd story. This one took place earlier this year. It was late, and I was out with my dad. We were on our way home when we had to stop at a Speedway for gas, and like most times I went inside with him. While he paid for gas I wandered around looking at the various snacks and candies on the selves. Suddenly a girl walks in the exit door talking on a cell phone. She was just like any other person but she reminded me of someone so strongly. She had shoulder length red hair pulled back in a pony-tail, a splatter of frekles across her nose, and she looked to be about 24 or 25. She was laughing and talking to someone on her cell. When my dad called me to the check out she fallowed with some gum or something. My dad fiddled for about 5 minutes trying to find the right card while I stared at this person the whole time. She didnt seem to notice(thank God) that I was watching. She probably would have found it a wee bit odd for a teenaged girl to be staring at her so intensely... stare But honestly I couldnt help it! I felt like I knew her like we were best friends or something. But for the life of me I couldnt figure it out! This was the fist time I had ever seen this person! I felt like I had known her for years, but that wasnt possible! It was such a strong pull in my gut that I was convinced that I SHOULD KNOW THIS PERSON!!! My dad had to half drag me away cuz' I kept zoneing out. As soon as I got home I felt better but still, that was the strongest thing I've ever felt. To the point that I was physicaly sick. I dont know why that happened but it was a feeling that faded as soon as I was a distance away. So what happened???!

my theory that I can pull from your experience is following:

1. past life best friend: I don't really know deep about past lives but it sounds like you've got some connection. But if this was the case, maybe she could've noticed you and felt deep connection with you too. Did she stare you too or showed some strange actions?
What else did you do other than staring?
Did some kind of emotion bursted inside you when you looked at her like sadness, happiness, nostalogic(sucky spelling sweatdrop ) etc...
2. Mistake: I sometimes feel that way too, like if I see someone on the street, I feel like I know that person or seen that person somewhere but can't figure it out......although this is probably not it, because it looks like you felt this deep and clearly to the point where you were sick.

1. Hmm possibly. She's almost twice my age. It was really undescribable. Have you ever felt the sudden urge to do something? Not a whim. Its way stronger. It was like the need to run away but being unable to move. Inner turmoil. Overwhelming curiosity. I dont know! Itwas just REALLY weird!!! stressed I hated it.
2.I doubt it. But if you ever felt it you'd hafta stop.(lucky my Dad was there... I might have tried to talk to her. And I'm positive that wouldnt' have turned out well...) stare

I agree with the first one. It seems to me that you knew her before, which is probably why you got that pull, and also why you felt as if you knew her. I'm still not sure of your connection with the information that was shown, you have to decide if she was your friend or not. Whatever you felt twards her was probably your connection with her, if you felt as if you had to run you probably didn't have a good friendship but if you were happy to see her then your probably best friends, it depends.

It felt like I was forgetting something infinately important. Have you ever been about to go on a long trip and forgot something for the ride there in the house? You know you forgot something but cant figure out what it was and therefor cannot run in and get it. I thought that I should know this person but couldnt figure out who they were. Thats really frustrateing.

When you were little, you got into some sort of accident that caused memory loss and she was the person you knew before the memory loss!!

Hrm...is possible, I fall out of at least one tree every summer. Actually I did get in an accident when I was little. I hit my head on the concreate sidewalk. I had stop breathing/fainting spells until about third grade. But that one time someone I didn't know carried me to a nurse where I got my head patched up and my dad found me. All I remember was slipping from the branch and the ground flying up to my face, then a heavy sinking feeling and being shaken. And then I woke up in that room, with the nurse putting something on my head while telling me I had come to the right person and that I was gonna be okay. It could be that time, but I was sure my parents knew and thanked that person at the time. Because no one brought it up. But come to think of it I would have to have known them by now.

Yes, I have.

One of my psychology professors, a man I work with, and my best friend.

The first used to ask about me all the time, and I didn't really understand why he was so interested in my life. No one generally is that interested in me. I don't think he was attracted to me or anything like that either. We were just kind of drawn to each other. I always felt very happy and safe in his class though. I don't think this is related at all, but another strange thing is that I originally guessed my professor to be in his late 30s. Then I found out he graduated college in the late 60s, which would make him in his 60s when I took the class.

The second is a Mexican guy that I work with. He's also older, old enough to be my grandpa probably. We were both immediately drawn to each other and though he doesn't know very much English, we converse in Spanish (though mine is pretty bad since I haven't had it since high school!) He always hugs me and he just reminds me so much of my real life grandpa for some reason, though they look nothing alike.

The third is my best friend. We were shy of one another at first, but immediately hit it off once we got to know each other. We can have fun doing pretty much anything. I am positive she was an important person in one of my past lives.

The strange attraction has happened with strangers before too, like your experience. They are few and far between, but I do stare at them and wonder why the hell I am staring, because usually they are perfectly normal looking people, you know?

Exactly! Thats just it! But this was the first time it had ever happened to me. But I live in a rather small city where most people know each other.

dededead: No my parents have spoken of that event but never about the person. So I just assumed they knew each other.

I know! I hate when you're like "I should know this person, but why???" Its happened to me quite a few times. Quite randomly and a lot like yours happened.
I have two people that I feel very strongly connected to though (AND I KNOW WHO THEY ARE! YAY!)
Crystal: She is seriously my best friend even though we rarely see each other. We met at a chess tournament and in a matter of two hours, everyone thought we had known each other for years. It was just such a strong pull..it was weird.

Nick: He's my best guy friend, for now. When we met, we both felt an insanely strong pull towards each other. After that, everything started to work out like it was planned. We connected so quickly that it was scary.

So yea...

That happened to me once.
I was at a skating rink with a buddy of mine, and there was this guy that I had this deep-set feeling about. I never met him, and it's not like I had any sudden feelings for him, I just had this strong feeling about him.

Never saw him again though, so I have no idea what that was all about. *shrug*
