~*~ Story ~*~
Their last summer together has passed and it was marvelous, by the end of the summer camp they were all at, they had gotten together, broken each other's hearts, and then patched them up in some way or another. Many things went on, but not all are things the campers might not be proud to admit to. The gay lovers had to part ways, but are still very much in contact with each other and the distance really does just make their hearts grow fonder. As for the other heterosexual couples, some stayed together, and others... not so much. Staying connected with everyone has been hard, but the more committed have done well in that regard. Things have changed since the days of their youth, however, and they've all grown up in ways they would never have imagined. Some are famous for their own reasons while others aren't doing so hot.
This is set in the USA, and the ex-campers have since moved away from their parents and moved on from college-except for a few. It's been 4 to 5 years since their last summer camp experience, and things have definitely changed... Not to mention that with all that space between them, others have room to move into that space.

Bio: Marie was always the slightly kooky one. She had constant mood swings through her childhood, but these slowed down during adolescence. Every summer she'd go to a campsite and see her friends. In the last summer they spent together, when she was sixteen, she and her old friend, Nick, fell in love. They spent one night alone together, and he promised her a surprise. A few days later he proposed, and Marie accepted. The next day she had a hospital appointment. When she came back she was different. She pulled her friend Giavani and his boyfriend, Yuuri, aside and told them about her trouble. She was having a child, and she knew she wouldn't be able to support it. She offered the child to the men, insisting they'd be better parents than she'd be. Although she warned them that she'd be back for the child once she'd made a decent living for herself. She left a note with the engagement ring on Nick's pillow and left. She ran away to New York to make a living as an actress. She changed her last name in an attempt to cut off any chances that Nick might find her again. She fears that he hates her now, and for good reason too. She is currently playing the role of Perily in the hit Broadway musical 'Coast to Coast'.
Personality: Marie has become withdrawn and quiet. She still has a sweet innocence around her, but it is toned down extremely. She is straightforward and blunt to a fault, and dislikes people who beat around the bush. She is still heartbroken over what had happened at the summer camp, but she tries not to dwell on it. She dives into her career, and finds pretending to be someone else for even a little time relieves her of her stress. She has an excellent memory and is a compulsive gambler. She has a nasty habit of counting cards, but almost never gets caught. She usually slips out before she hits a large amount of money. She is incredibly cautious, and whenever she sees someone who reminds her of her ex-fiancé she slips into the nearest alley. She isn't very flirtatious, but there is a man at the blackjack tables who has caught her eye.
Appearance: Marie has become a slim and attractive woman. Her hair has become a dirty blonde, but is often dyed for various roles. This has caused her hair to become dry, and it is currently a dark auburn with black bangs (Playing a role of a vampire in an off-Broadway musical). Her nose is still dainty and small, but a small splashing of pale red freckles has appeared across it. Her chin is pointy and sharp, and her lips are thin and stubborn. Her body is the same as usual, but shows the aftermath of childbirth. She still has slight marks on her body, and she has slight worry lines along her pale blue eyes. Her eyelashes are long and blond, but she wears mascara to make them match her hair. Her feet are large and she usually wears size 9 loafers. Her hands are unusually large compared to the rest of her body, but she uses this to her advantage when playing guitar. She is unhealthily slim, but not too thin. Bio: Jon was a mild mannered boy during the school year throughout his childhood. When he first began going to the campsites he remained the same, but through the summers he learned to let loose and have fun, a bit too much. He became irresponsible during the summers, and soon found someone he loved. He and Jackie had a child, but found they didn't have enough money to support it. Jon married Jackie and moved to Florida. He began working two jobs to support the family. He is currently pushing his way through online college while working at Disney as a mechanic and as a clerk in a convenience store. He is also sending his artwork to art dealers, but has yet to sell any.
Personality: Jon has become a serious figure. He loves his family, but fears he won't make enough money. He spoils his son with toys and games which he has no money for. He still retains his irresponsibility, pushing it on his son. He encourages his son to reach his dreams, but not in a good way. He turns the other cheek when his son does a bad thing, leaving the discipline to his wife. He loves playing with his son on Sundays (his only day off) and often lets his son win. He loves his wife still, but often gets home too late to get to do much with her.

Bio: Pru recovered slowly from the shock of Jake's death. She began going to college shortly after, but was failing. She cut herself off from her friends, afraid that they'd die too. She's going to UCLA to study journalism, and is working two jobs to pay for the part of her tuition not covered by the partial scholarship. Her mother was killed by one of her ex-boyfriends (the same one that raped Pru), and Pru fears that she'll be next. She's trying to live a healthy life, but it has become harder as her life goes on. She's taking sleeping pills to help her, but she's been increasing her dosage slowly without telling her doctor.
Personality: Pru is an enthusiastic, happy and studious girl... yeah right. She has become a depressed and paranoid young woman. She can't sleep at night, and her doctor has prescribed her a sleeping medication to help her. She believes that her mother's murderer is out to get her, too, and figures that it would be better to kill herself than to have him kill her. She's holding off though, because she gets to meet her friend Giavani in an interview. She's also a bit hopeful that Jake, or some other man, will come back and sweep her off her feet and stop her.

Likes to be called: Jiji (Pronounced-G.G.)
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Bio: Since that last summer at camp with all of his long time friends, Giavani, otherwise known as Jiji, has been hooked up with one of the guys he met, thankfully, during that last camp experience. Yuuri is his love and his lover, in all sense of the word, and he's not planning to leave him any time soon. He's in California, however, working with a few of his former classmates from college to create a photo gallery and get the attention of the press for more recognition as top artists in there field of photography. Jiji's not to sure where he'll end up, but he plans to try on being a model photographer, even if that business with models and all their phoniness really sickens him. Another thing to mention would be that Jiji has a small child to take care of as well. She's not his of course, but Marie's, another of the Ex-Campers. He was delighted to be given such a large responsibility, and readily took Marie's daughter to take care of. He's only keeping her until Marie can get back on her feet, unfortunately, and he can feel that the time to do so will be coming up soon. He doesn't try and think of it, though, and drowns himself in his work whenever he does. Keeping in touch with Yuuri isn't hard; Jiji calls him constantly, regularly updating him on the current going ons of his life. As for Jiji's parents-he doesn't talk to them anymore, being disowned didn't have a big negative impact on his life, though, rather, it was much the opposite. He was free to do as he pleased and do what he wanted, which was just want Jiji wanted in the first place. Money was and never will be an issue for him, though; you couldn't possibly think his parents would disown him without making sure he could still survive in the world on his own. In reality, they're still watching over him, even if he doesn't know, or want it.
Personality: Jiji's calmed down quite a bit from his overly hyper self, he's still pretty funny, witty and random of course, that'll never change, but he's gotten more serious in general. He's still that happy go lucky little emo/goth freak, but in a more professional way, if that's even possible. He's learned to better handle his emotions, and comforting people is a lot easier now that he's come back down to earth. He's in it for the fun and joy of things still, but that was never much of a problem, he's loving life and as long as nothing happens to Yuuri, his camera, or his-almost-adopted daughter, he's always feeling fantastic. So basically, he's a happy emo, the clothes are just what he likes and he doesn't care what anyone else thinks of him; his Yuuri is his, and he can get extremely jealous, so it's better to just keep him happy and go about your day.
Extra: He tries the best he can with bringing up Fiona in the best way possible, keeping her entertained and encouraging her to make good on her dreams. It was rather hectic when she was a new born, with him having school and still trying to keep Yuuri close, but Jiji did it just fine, even if Fiona does seem to be a bit strange and more unlike him everyday. He's also gotten a few more piercings, one on each side of his nose and another lip ring [bottom lip] to match with his other one [top lip]. He's even thinking of getting his tongue pierced-boy, won't that be fun for Yuuri? ;D

Bio: Yuuri hasn't grown up that much since his camping days, though he likes to think that he's matured a bit more (who knows if it's true). After leaving the place where he had met so many people, and made so many friends-not to mention gained a boyfriend-Yuuri finished up his last year of college. He got a job part time as a journalist while he works on Before everyone left for their various schools and jobs, Jiji informed him of Marie's circumstances. He felt quite bad that Nick and her couldn't get married after all, but it was her decision, and Yuuri supported that no matter what. She gave birth and the child was given to Jiji to look after until she was ready to make a commitment. Yuuri enjoys spending time with her daughter when he can get out to California, and it's always fun to watch Jiji play with her like she's his own. Perhaps it wasn't the best decision for Marie to leave her child, but it was best for Marie's daughter. When it comes to Yuuri's own family, he doesn't really bother with them. But his father calls from time to time to see how he's doing. Overall, Yuuri feels pretty content with his current living style.
Personality: Yuuri's a generally happy guy, he never acts too irrational or dramatic unless there's an actual reason for him to. He's more serious of course at work, but knows how to have fun with his coworkers and friends. Yuuri's always excited when he's on the phone with Jiji, though. They seem to have something to talk about all the time. Yuuri likes to go out and do the crazy and fun things like he did at camp with his newer friends. Though he only has a few that can relate to him.
Extra: His casual clothes are pretty much the same, though perhaps a bit more toned down. Yuuri surprises himself by wearing an actual tie and collared shirt at work!

Bio: After camp was over, Blake followed after his girlfriend, Cassie, as promised. They got an apartment together and have been there for quite awhile. It's a pretty nice place, and it's been remodeled a couple times over because Blake felt like it and because he thought that Cassie's living space should be topnotch and beautiful, just like her. His parent's didn't want him to go, instead they wanted him to go to Harvard or Yale, or some fancy school like that and become a lawyer. Blake convinced them to let him do what he wants and he's keeping in good touch with them and all of his other relatives. As for school and work; he found a near by business college and got in easily enough, and he's gotten a job at a bank, that's also near by. Promotions are just around the corner, meaning he'll be able to give Cassie even more then she already has. He's doing well off for himself while still pursuing some kind of career in music. He's been working on songs recently, nothing big yet, just some jingles for commercials and things-he's starting small. While living with Cassie he's seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, but he still loves her anyways. He's even working up the courage to propose to her, now if only he wasn't such a coward....
Personality: Blake's the fun guy, he likes keeping everyone around him happy as long as he's happy, too. He'll get in your face if need be and he's not afraid to give a good beating to a friend-though if it's a girl he'll definitely hesitate. He's overly protective of Cassie, of course, and that can get on peoples-and Cassie's-nerves sometimes, but everyone knows that he means well. He's the kind of crazy smart guy that'll read the dictionary as a bed time story and can beat you at a game of scrabble ten times over in his sleep. He's not conceited, just really likes knowledge and sports. He kind of likes everything, actually, and since he used to box in his high school days, you can be sure he's no weak little nerd guy....
Extra: He's living with Cassie, fool! But we already knew that... Blake is still afraid of ducks, deathly afraid, and the only animal he's ever owned is this little two headed turtle. The little guy was really cute actually... but he's still at his parent's house. Maybe Blake will take him back the next time Cassie and him go up for the holidays or something?

Bio: After their camping trip, Cassie went back with her boyfriend Blake and they ended up getting an apartment together, as promised. Cassie went to a 2 year technical college and now she has an internship few blocks down from where Blake's bank job is. She is going back to college to become a nurse. She has one more year of school before she can fully become a nurse. Her battle with her cancer was nearly won. After camping she had a bone marrow transplant and for now her cancer lays dormant. She is waiting for Blake to pop the question. She loves him very much. Her mother passed away a few weeks after the camping trip was over with, and her father is a wreck. Cassie has also won her battle with depression and she has been doing very good lately.
Personality: Cassie still loves to cuddle but she isn't very wild and flirty anymore. She still flirts, just with Blake though. She realized she was taking things for granted and started to stop and smell the roses. Shes calm, loving and caring. Its difficult for her to be strong, but she is managing that she is no longer depressed or bipolar. Cassie is keeping everything going and her life is finally going right. Which of course makes her very happy. She loves Blake very much, and she isn't afraid to show it. But she does miss her friends and hope she will get to see some of them again soon.
Extra: Cassie lives with Blake, and has really cleaned up her act. She died her black hair, blonde. Her picture from Fishing: [x]. She took out her lip piercing, letting it close.

Bio: After Nick proposed to Marie, she accepted. Nick went into his tent one day and found the ring right on his pillow. Marie had gone. The love of his life. He is still depressed about it and misses her everyday. To try and keep him from being really lonely, Jake moved in with him. Jake was killed in a car crash a few weeks after that. Nick is completely torn up about it. The only other people from camp that he has kept in touch with was Blake and Cassie. He misses them all and hopes to see someone soon. He has no idea that he has a daughter.
Personality: Hes normally pretty depressed, and sad. Its hard for him to keep living. Hes not the same old Nick. His friends where his entire life, and now that they are gone he is realizing just how much of his life they where. Hes on pills for being depressed and he has tried killing himself. Cassie and Blake are the only things keeping him alive. He really wants to be happy, but hes still madly in love with Marie. Hes loving and sweet.. He just can't show it. Hes too afraid of getting hurt again.
Extra: Nick now lives alone in a small apartment. He has really let himself go.. He doesn't know how much more of it he could take.

Bio: Jackie was a 'normal girl' most of her life, whatever that means. She didn't have anything 'wrong' with her per say, but she did have a lot of quirks. She then began to attend a camp, which she made friends quickly and had a blast. But that was all cut short when she was in a car accident when she was 12, losing most of her memories. Though she was incapacitated for a while, she returned to the camp and immediately fell in love with Jon. They were each other's 'firsts' and each other's one and only. After that year, they had a baby boy. They soon began to get into some harsh times. They got married and moved to Florida and Jon began to work two support them. She began to work as an exotic dancer, though he doesn't know. And then she soon found out she is pregnant again, but she doesn't know how to tell Jon. If anything, she's thinking of getting an abortion from behind his back. But she doesn't know yet.
Personality: When she was younger, Jackie was cool and collect. She was a bit headstrong at times, but she usually knew how to keep herself out of trouble. For a time being. She's still sweet and friendly, if you catch her on a good day. She doesn't have depression or anxiety or all that fun stuff, but she can seem like it if people make her real unhappy. But she is a carefree individual, who is sometimes a worry-wart. She loves Jon and their child with all her might, but now she's feeling guilty because she got pregnant again, but she doesn't know if he is the father or not. So now she's really scared that he will get mad at her and toss her aside, never loving her or trusting her again. That, in itself is her one, true fear.
Extra: She has a 5-year-old son named Ryan Xavier Snith, and maybe one on the way...

Bio: Since camp, Lynn has developed new nicknames, Linnie and Jayjay. She also followed her dream of becoming a artist and now studies at a University in California. Jayjay's grown in many ways, she is much more mature and considerate, and still to this day keeps contacts with Cassie and Jiji, her first friends at camp. But now to tell you what's happened these past five years. Linnie got in a huge fight with her father a year later, and ended up being throw out of her house, and since then she wasn't her thin, follower self anymore. She became more independent and mature about things she couldn't help. She also became much better at her art, impressing many. So now, you can find her normally in Starbucks, the cafe just below her apartment, and where she works part-time.
Personality: Jayajay broke through her silence around strangers and talkative self around friends, she is now in the middle, the best of both. She also is no longer daring, she attempts to stay out of the spotlight, but it never works. JayJay also isn't as serious as she use to be, she is a bit more bubbly and better to be around. She also doesn't show much attitude but she can show some if you'd like. She also doesn't get mad very easily, but when she does get mad you might want to run. Linnie also isn't as... vampire-ish. Other than that she is a bit more dramatic. And a bit on the goody-two shoes side.
Extra: Linnie normally has her moltise-Teddy-with her. She also has a orange tabby cat name name Cheddar.

Bio: Emily finished high school near the top of her class, and is going off to Yale to study physics this fall. She has still longed to see the Ex-Campers again since that last, crazy summer, but has so far only managed to keep in touch with Lynn. Remember that crazy French “brother” she had when she was in that exchange program in France? Well, he moved to the States to go to college and is AFTER HER. Emily constantly considers getting a restraining order but doesn’t want to delve into the world of law- especially since he’s studying it at Harvard. At least he prefers to bombard her with love letters reeking of French perfume rather than to just shove her into an alley and do the nasty- at least, that's what she thinks. Em just moved into an apartment by herself. She left her parents' house after she graduated from high school.
Personality: Emily still loves sports, thunderstorms, books and bare feet. Her semi-insane theories about thunderstorms bringing good luck have been proven wrong, after a thunderstorm preceded Jake's death. Her sarcasm has mellowed and she has learned that sometimes it's not the answer. Em has become a beast with words and is the queen of comebacks. Altogether she has mellowed out- her hyperactivity less life-threatening, her words less sharp, her sports muscles more lean and toned.

Bio: Destiny grew up an almost normal life. Her family treated her good, her friends not so much. Shes recently lost a close relative,her brother, in a car accident. Her depression sent her into a downfall. She was pressured into doing a lot of things she regrets. Her boyfriend tried to get into her pants, and she rejected him. He left her alone,her friends did too. She followed the wrong crowd. Now all she wants to do is start over again , with a broken heart.
Personality: Destiny was a sweet,caring optimistic girl. When her heart was broken(in more ways then one) She basically shut down. She's shy , afraid but still caring. She's too afraid to be herself and reach out for someone. She doesn't want her heart to shatter completely. She's strong or so she thinks. Every night she breaks down. Yet every time she's in public she hides herself behind a fake smile. With no friends, she just plays her piano and reads.

Bio: Her mother gave birth to her in a hospital in Los Angeles. She was very small when she was born, and she had to stay there a week to make sure she was going to survive. Her mother took her to a strange man's house, giving her to a man she would soon come to learn as her father. She grew up in the unusual household, watching as the paparazzi asked her father where the child came from. She went to a prestigious school, but disliked the work. She was a bright child, great at taking tests, but homework usually sat on the kitchen table to rot until her father made her do it. She loves designing clothes and is incredible with a needle. She makes tiny outfits for her Barbie dolls and demands that her father keep her supplied with the finest fabrics for the plastic dolls.
Personality: Fiona is as straightforward as a child can be. She is blunt and often rude. Although any rude remarks are often true. She has plenty of musical talent, but dislikes using it. She abandons her violin lessons for her 'dolly time'. She is mature, and already knows where babies come from (she pestered her pregnant maid enough for an explanation). She has told her entire class about it (Boys have a stick, girls have a hole, stick goes in the hole, stuff comes out, and baby is made. Plus extra things she learned around the house.) She is sensible and her feet are planted on the ground. She dislikes having impractical fantasies, the only one she has is to become a fashion designer.

Bio: He is the son of Jonathon and Jaclyne Snith. All throughout his life, he's noticed that his parents have drifted apart a bit. His father always spending more time with him, instead of his mom. All of their extra money was spent on him, which didn't sit well with Jaclyne. He didn't like all the extra attention, seeing what it was doing to his mother, and his parents relationship. And with all this family drama at home, his academic prowess has been slipping dramatically. He has to take ADHD medication every day so that he can focus in class better, but it doesn't help that much because he also has dyslexia. A lot of kids hate him, and a lot of bullies pick him as their favorite target. And whenever he tells his parents, his dad is the one who blows up and takes it out on his mom, who has been sneaking out of the house lately to go do her 'job.' He also has noticed how strangely her behavior has become lately, but he hasn't told his dad. If anything, he wants them to stay together for however longer they could, for the time being anyway...
Personality: He is sometimes labeled as 'spoiled' or a 'brat,' but he is like the exact opposite from one. He is sweet and charming and helpful. He gets picked on a lot because of his sensitivity. He is extremely smart for his age, but because of all the stuff that has been going on at home, he hasn't really pushed himself to do any thing productive and the like. He cherishes him mom like a goddess, though he notices that his dad doesn't treat her like that too. He tries to help her out a lot, and even keeps her secrets that she tells him. He is very smart as well, but doesn't use that to lie to people and trick them easily. He thinks people who do that are scum and not worth any of his time, or anyone else's for that matter. But he's very friendly and loves to make new friends, no matter who they are.

After running away from home, she lives on her own in a small condo. Personality: Chandler has a fiery personality that keeps her away from others. {Jaylynn is in California. I would be a bit more speific if I knew more about Amrica, but I don't...}
Jaylynn sat in starbucks one sunny afternoon with Teddy on her lap and his leash attached to her wrist. Although Teddy didn't need a leash, she'd been told one too many time by an official that even though he was domesticated he still needed to be kept on a leash. Jayjay took one last sip of her coffee before standing up, knocking Teddy off her lap in the process, and throwing away her coffee. It was time to get started onher art project for school, but before that she wanted to e-mail Cassie and Jiji. She opened the wooden door in the back of the cafe which revelaed a flight of stairs that lead up to two apartements. One of which was hers. She ran up the flight in no time, with Teddy trailing and entered her apartement. She let teddy of the lease and was welcomed home by Cheddar, her cat. She closed the door and walked over to her computer and turned it on, opening her e-mail. No new messages so she decided to make one now for Cassie and Jiji.
What's up chickas? Jayjay here. Ted's doing just fine, got his shots yesterday. Cheddar's doin' fine with the kitten in her tum's so how's everyone else?

California~ [I live here and even I don't know that much. >..>;]
Jiji was hauling around a giant camera on his shoulder right at the moment that he decided that checking his messages and e-mail would be a good thing. You never knew when someone sent you something, and with Jiji it was usually Yuuri or an old camp buddy. He was in a studio of some sort, at some college that one of his friends had a friend at and wanted help with something. Jiji obviously volunteered, he was into this kind of stuff after all. He wasn't doing anything but following his friend and his friend's friend around school because they needed to find the 'perfect spot' to shoot some skit or something right at the moment, so he took out his iPhone and fiddled with it. The maid had left him a message, probably freaking out because she found something 'naughty' again in his room while cleaning and to inform him that Fiona was being a pest, like always. There was also a message from Lynn that he hadn't been expecting, but it pleased him nonetheless. He smiled and responded back, thank god for touch screen iPhones.
Hey! Haven't heard from you in a while, good to hear everything is going well for you. What are you doing with the kittens? If I'm allowed to I'm going to steal one, it'll drive my maid insane but it's more entertainment for me. I'm working right now, sorta, and I plan on getting another piercing! This time the tongue, it's gonna be awesome and totally hawt.
