I know that a lot of us who have FEPlanet accounts and play Fire Emblem Tactics Online are sometimes having difficulty getting a match with other guild members because we get on at different times and its rare for anyone else to be on simultaneously.

So I suggest that we have a designated "prime-time" when people could log on at the same time and matches could begin and end rather quickly without a 12-hour per turn wait period (which means MORE matches surprised ). If no one is on during this time, you could start a match and perhaps wait no more then 15 minutes for a guild member to join (or other FEP member I guess), or log off for the moment otherwise. What do you all think, and what would be good times?

How does 6-9 Eastern time and 3-6 Western sound?




Also (and this is just a pet peeve, so feel free to stop reading if you don't care): I think we can all agree that the way we get to customize growths is pretty cool, right? But I'm starting to think many people don't know the mechanics about the growth system, or just don't care, and I keep seeing characters with growths that are either partially wasteful, or VERY wasteful. So here are some tips for planning your growths, that might allow for extra stats:
1-keep in mind that the caps for all stats are 30, with the exception of HP at 60 (armor classes also have a DEF cap of 35 and RES of 25). And if you raise a growth too high or put too many stat boosts in one area, it's going to go cap early and you'll be wasting level ups and growth points that could be better used elsewhere while you would still hit the max in the end.
2-Some stats might cap out naturally. A female cleric will cap out magic naturally if you promote at level 20, for example. Giving her ANY additional points to magic is wasteful for that reason (and yet people still do it eek )
3-Ending your growths with 0's or 5's (which is what they all start with) is usually wasteful. The only exceptions are growth rates of at or above 65 (which are pretty rare for anything but HP or a super boosted stat that's going to cap out early anyway). Sometimes, just adding or subtracting a single growth will earn you another stat point in the long run, or save you from a wasted level up (low defensive growths and luck come to mind for many classes). Having growths that end in 0 sometimes make the leveling process much easier though for a single wasted level up (50 instead of 49 especially).
4-Promotion bonuses and class growth rates are readily available, so at least take a look at them. Even if your growth rates look like their optimized, not knowing what class you'll promote to or what its bonuses are can throw a wrench in things.
5-The statistics calculator now works for Internet Explorer, Safari, and Fire Fox. So USE IT (although you can still certainly determine things by hand)!
6-If you think you royally screwed up your character's growths, you CAN change a character's growths once per week (I'm not sure if you can do more than one character every week though) and they'll be adjusted.

I tried to intelligently create the stats for my characters, but before I fix them, could you look at them and tell me how I did?

I think I need to work on my magic, though. All I've got are a Shaman, a Mage, and a Templar, and I think I'm gonna need more than that.

Heh, it's true--Rhys is a Welsh name, meaning "Strength, love, and passion" or something like that. I doubt I'll name my first-born Rhys or anything, though--I dunno, my mindset right now is that it feels awkward to name a child after a video game character. My dad named me after two of his favorite people in history (Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin), so to name one of my kids after fictional people feels laughable. sweatdrop (Incidentally, Mia's supposed to be a very common English/German name--I don't know anybody IRL with it, though.)
