Waiting by the gate was a man with silver hair and long white flowing robes. He carried with him a large looking bag and a few instruments slung over his shoulder. He wore a holy symbol to a deity of Knowledge, Boccob, as well as wore several other holy symbols, Oldimara and Dalt to name just a few.

There was also a woman in a black dress, standing at about six feet tall with long black hair, deep black eyes and tattoos on her body, the most prominent one the Hawk tattoo on her face.

A young woman from the desert stood there as well, sitting under a tree sharpening one of her many weapons in her arsenal. She had blue eyes and black hair, and sun kissed skin, as well as multiple scars that seemed to cover her body.

A wizardly looking woman stood there as well, looking over tomes and arcane whatnots, pushing up her glasses on her face as she browsed through the books at her side.

The final young woman there hardly wore anything at all and carried what could be considered one of the biggest swords ever seen, a b*****d sword.

There was a young man by the woman with black hair, he was about half her height and much much younger. He wore clerical robes and carried a holy symbol to Obad-hai openly on his person.

There was also an older man by them too, wearing clerical robes of the same sort as the boy, and had a much more experienced look about him. He looked ready for anything, his eyes looking around as he shifted a bit, his full plate lying beside him in a pile.

Katiana was the first one to arrive, with Munothu her bodyguard of course. She wore black pants a black top, and a comfy looking sweater hoodie of some sort. Her hat was over her face and her Smuggler's Boots of Dexterity were on her feet. She touched her belly as she approached, able to see everyone that was on the other side.

"Well, time to go," she said. She walked towards the portal, and was certain that a few of her friends on the other side could see her approach. With a smile she stepped on through into the other world and was immediately embraced by Yuko.

"How are you darling?" Yuko asked. "Its so good to see you again! You're getting big!"

"Well...thanks I think," Katiana said. "Its good to see you too, I'm doing well, aside from morning sickness."

"Do you need a checkup at all Katiana?" Auron asked, coming up with Yuki towards the two women. Chris's master merely looked up from his seat and smiled, but said nothing.

"I'm fine Auron," she said. "And hello Yuki, seems you've gotten quite big!"

"Thanks!" Yuki said proudly.

Katiana glanced around at everyone else, Rose, Isis. "Is anyone else coming?"

"From here? No, we're the welcome mat so to speak. Are Chris and Donovan coming?" Yuko asked.

"Yes," she said. "They did get Quested too...and there are a few others too. A friend of mine, Sei, said she'd be coming along too. I believe Excalibur is coming along even though he didn't get quested, and as you can see, Munothu is here as well as the baby inside me. I couldn't really forget my child could I?" She laughed at her silly little joke.

"Heh," Auron said. "Well, you look rather healthy, and in good spirits despite the Geas. Welcome to Verbabonc."

"You'll like it here, there's lots of politics," Yuko said. "Having our resident diplomat on the road will actually do much to help us here."

*Dressed in her Sailor Star fighter costume, and hauling her rather large flaming sword, Sei arrives. Why the costume? Because she's going on an adventure of course! Why not look the part? Selene had made an odd transormation a few days ago so she took her along in the form of chains. They didn't hinder her any. made things interesting actually.* Hey! I'm here! Don't leave without me!

o-o whoa.. ok.. XD *follows Kat through the gate*

The Eirynes flew into the gate and past the people into the air, joyously stretching his wings. "I MADE IT!" he crowded as he twirled around a bit in the sky before coming down for a landing.

"Seems like the gang's almost all here," he said. "I wouldn't miss this for the world. The vashra...quested my protectee, and so here I am, ahead of her by a bit so I can make sure the world is safe for her to come here! Its good to see you!"

Some of the others waved, some of them groaned. Chris's master remained silent on the issue.

The silver haired man lifted his head. "Heh. Nervous about being in such a new place? Don't worry, we keep our guests well protected," he said assuringly.

"...Cal...knew he'd be showing up eventually," Katiana said. "Well, you haven't seen much of Verbabonc yet Sei, but first impressions? Its mighty woodsy and old fashioned isn't it?"

"You knew? Well of course I would," Cal said. "And yes Sei, I am still around. I am Chris's guardian after all."

"She's more my charge than she is yours," Katiana said. Don't mess with the pregnant woman Cal. Just don't do it.

"In your state though, I do believe I'd be a bit more worried about yourself," he said. "You can't do much protecting your charge if there's a battle in your current state."

THWACK! Katiana had quickdrawn her sap and sapped him in the back of the head rather hard. "I can do just fine. Don't insult my intelligence or my abilities."

Cal rubbed his head ruefully. "That hurt!"

"Don't worry, you're surrounded by some good adventures. And with a cleric as good as Auron around, and I'm no slouch either, you don't have anything to fear," the silver haired man replied.

"Well, hopefully tonight we'll be staying at the Rhennee camp. Good hot food there, those people do know how to cook," she said with a laugh.

"..." Cal was still rubbing his head. "Why oh why is the world against me?" He drew an arrow out of his quiver and pretended to pierce his heart. "You're all out to get me, I know it! I only mean the best!" As well as being the best, but no...he wasn't boastful on that fact...wait...yes, yes he was.

Katiana sighed. Why did Dalt have to chose him to watch over and protect Chris? Well...maybe she'd see why later. Or not. Maybe he really was just a drama whore.
