hello all. I am a Victorian Gothic/ Lolita and I am in a serious relationship with a woman. According to lolita culture and the style, Would you guys say that it is cute or distasteful to be with a girl.
Your opinions won't bother me as I am very comfortable with my sexuality. I was simply curious.

What you wear should not determine who you should or should not be with.
My personal beliefs is that love is something that's above all gender. I'm not against men, but I have a tendency to get along better with women. I am semi-involved with one now, and there is nothing at all wrong with it.

-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
It's nothing to do with "culture and the style" of Lolita, the answers you would receive would simply be opinions of the speaker.
I personally don't have a problem with homosexual/bi-sexual lolitas. There are plenty of lesbian lolitas in the lolita community (not this one, but the one on livejournal).

I may be married to a guy but I don't mind lesbians in the community. I've never read anything barring someone from the community just because of who they love. In fact I've met a Japanese lolita couple on a trip to Tokyo once. ^_^ They were absolutely adorable!

I'm a lesbian Lolita. I think theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, and if someone thinks there is, you have the option of graciously kicking them in the shin and walking away keeping both grace and poise. biggrin Clothes do not determine who you love.

I don’t see why anyone would have a problem with it. Girls are cuter than most boys anyways, and cute plus cute equals a whole lot of cute. What can get better than a whole lot of cute? Not too terribly much ( ^ 3^) heart I don’t discriminate against gender I can fall for anyone as long as they are either cute or princely. Having a princess is just as good as having a prince~

Of course! I'm gay too, and even though I don't have a girlfriend (half my school thinks I'm creepy), it's nothing like an 'either-or'. I think the only people who would have a problem with it are the people who think you oughtn't to have any romantic attachments, and they're sort of loonies anyway. Love is love is love is love.
Girls are just too pretty not to like. ^^;; And most guys my age are either immature, closed-minded, or on the other bus. (Plus I just can't bring myself to like them. Just can't.)
Fiaria, that is one of the most uplifting things I've read. "Cute plus cute equals a whole lot of cute." ^^
Don't kill me, but looking around on livejournal I know I'm not the only Shimotsuma Monogatari fan who saw "something there" between Ichigo and Momoko.

I happen to know several lolita's who are lesbian's. I see nothing wrong with it. I say if you're happy, then be with who you want to be with. No one has the right to tell you if it's right or not.
