As the days tended to roll together, Tien was rolling around on the grass playfully. She had just gotten done chasing the butterflies. It was something to do, something to keep her occupied. Her tail flicked slightly at the grass and dust she had falling around her.
She thought about Chuiwa, her new friend she had met not too long ago. While she knew that he wouldn't be around all too much, she had hoped to run into him again. She had plenty of fun with their last encounter.

Funnily enough, just as Tien was thinking about him, Chuiwa'karatasi appeared in the distance. He had once again ventured from his home in the Pride Lands and now found himself across the border once more. He too was hoping to find his new friend, as they had had a brilliant time when they first met.
With her pretty pale coat, Tien was quite easy to spot once he was close enough. Grinning, he moved to greet her. His body ached to tackle her playfully, but he thought it best not to surprise her like that. She may think it was an unfriendly lion, and the last thing he wanted was to get beaten up by a girl.
"Hey Tien!"

As she had come back up and shook the grass from her fur, Tien's name was called. She raised her head excitedly, she knew that voice. It belonged to none other than Chuiwa! A smile grew on her features as she flicked her tail, "Hi Chuiwa!" It was good to see him, he looked well.
She walked over to the male and batted his shoulder playfully with her paw, "I told ya I'd be around! I was hoping I'd run into you sometime soon!"

"Same here actually!" He replied with a grin. "I only came out here to see if you were around. How have you been?" Chuiwa'karatasi hoped he didn't sound to eager. Although he had been thinking about Tien a lot since they had first met, they were still just friends. It just so happened that the two had connected almost instantly, and he couldn't help but want to see her again. They would definatly have to play something different this time though.

Her face lit up as Tien listened to Chuiwa. It was nice to hear that she was missed, she enjoyed the male's company. It was a refresh reverie from her lonely life. "I have been alright, there's only so many games I can play by myself before I tire." She winked playfully before sighed softly, "Sometimes I had wondered if I was all by myself because I hadn't ran into anyone!" How could a place as large as this hold so many critters but she not run into any of them?!
"Have you been alright?" She tilted her head before she flicked her tail, "I found an awesome place, do you wanna see?"

"I hear that!" He said with a laugh, refering to Tien's comment about playing games on your own. That was what he had had to resort to lately as his siblings became more and more scarce. "I was lucky to find you then, especially in an area as big as this one."
"I've been fine thank you." Chuiwa'karatasi grinned, happy that Tien wanted to know how he was doing as well. At the mention of an awesome place, his ears perked. "Seriously? I'd love to see it!"

Chuiwa's words made Tien's spirits lift. This is clearly what she needed, the company of some friends. And Chuiwa was a good friend, at least that's what she viewed him as. It made her feel all fuzzy to know that she had been missed. At least her feelings weren't one-sided! Being lonely was no fun!
With her head raised high, the light green female was proud of her discovery. It was an amazing place and she knew Chuiwa would enjoy it as much as herself. "It's a little walking distance, but we should make it there soon enough." She smiled, "It's awesome, I am so happy to have found it and get to share it with you."

"Cool, lead the way!" Chuiwa'karatasi happily joined Tien at her side, waiting for her to lead him to this awesome new place. He had originally planned on ramming into her, and maybe initiating a play fight. He decided against it though, as something inside him just couldn't bring himself to tackle the pretty female, even though he was sure she could take it. It was rather weird.
As they walked, Chuiwa'karatasi found himself looking at Tien through the corner of his eye. Worried that she might catch him, he started looking around in all directions. "So, how did you find this awesome new place we're going to?"

As Chuiwa happily joined Tien, she felt her face light up. She turned to head off as she called out to him, "Come and follow!" Knowing full-well that he'd follow her anywho.
While they were walking, she felt his gaze on her but said nothing. She'd tease him about it later. At his question, she turned her head in his direction to reply, "I just happened to stumble across it the other day when I was alone, and not having fun with you!" She teased playfully as she flicked her tail on his side.
Her ears perked forward, straining to hear any sounds that'd indicate that they were close, it wouldn't be too much longer at the pace they were taking.

Chuiwa'karatasi grinned as she playfully flicked her tail at him. "You must've been really bored to just be walking around all by yourself. Do you get lonely?" That was a rather deep question coming from him, but he was curious.
As they kept walking, he thought of other things that he could ask her. "Do you have any family members that live nearby?" Chuiwa'karatasi actually had a rather big family living right in the Pride Lands, but for now, he could keep that a secret.

His questions were of no surprise to the lioness as Tien was curious about him as well. But she wasn't sure when would have been a good time to ask him any questions about himself. Not that it mattered too much to her, as long as they got along great and he had a great personality to boot! She couldn't have been happier!
Her head turned slightly as she gazed at him. Mulling over the answer, she nodded her head slowly. "There are times when I get really lonely. It's those times when I think about my friends that I have made and how lucky I am to have made them," She smiled softly to the male, "It makes it even more special to see my friends more than once in a short period of time, since everyone is always on the move. So I never know when I'll see anyone." It had been her way of life for so long, she didn't know any other way of life and had accepted that this was how the way things were for her. So it didn't upset her very much that she would only see a friend once or twice, she looked at the positive side of things. At least she could say that she had made plenty of friends.
At his second question, she shook her head slightly, "I'm afraid not. I can't remember much about my family, but I think they're out there somewhere." And then she added, "What about you, Chuiwa?"

"Erm...pretty much the same I guess..." Chuiwa'karatasi replied with a shrug. "I have a bunch of friends that are always on the move, and I'm always on the move as well so I don't get to see any of them very much." He grinned. "Unless I'm lucky, like I was with you today."
Before going on, Chuiwa thought carefully about what he was going to say. For some reason, he didn't want to tell his friend Tien that he was a Pride Lander, and that he had a huge family within that Pride. He kind of thought that she would think differently of him if she knew, and so, he decided to keep it a secret. "I do have a big family, but they live really far away. I haven't seen them in aaaages."

Her ears flicked at his words and Tien turned to look at him. It made her swell with pride and her face lit up brightly. "I guess I'm very lucky then! Getting to see you so often!" She gave him a playful wink, "You're very lucky to have such a large family." Her eyes widen a bit as she realized they were here.
It was a nice watering hole. But there were flowers all around it. And off to one side were some rocks which they could climb on and paw around in the water with. Or jump into the water. She looked back at him and replied, "We're here! Isn't it just lovely? I found it just the other day."

Chuiwa'karatasi blinked when Tien winked at him. What was that all about? He didn't really want to ask, and so he just let out a small laugh and nodded. "Yeah, families are great." He was too busy looking at Tien to realise that they had reached their destination, until Tien herself brought it to his attention.
When she did, Chuiwa turned to look at where they were. It was a very nice watering hole, complete with diving rocks. "Oh wow, this is awesome!" Without a moment's pause, the pale green lion leapt on to the nearest boulder. "I bet I can make a bigger splash that you!" He grinned.

Glad to hear that he liked the spot, Tien heard his challenge. With a raised eyebrow, she laughed lightly and shook her head, "Oh, I don't think so Chuiwa! You might be bigger than me, but that doesn't mean that you'll make a bigger splash than me!"
When he leapt on one of the boulders and she followed suit. She'd show him, in this little friendly game just how big her splash could really be. "You're on!" She looked at him with a grin.
