Class Description An anatomy course that features comprehensive guides to the human organs, systems, and body structure for the students. In addition, more abstract, ethereal elements of anatomy, such as chi, the flow of mana, and acupuncture, will also be discussed.
He'd had to giggle somewhat upon realizing what class was next, and he wondered who he would be taking it with. Waltzing into the classroom, he picked himself a desk and computer, and sat down, instantly engrossing himself in the lesson. Any way you looked at them, people were interesting.

Ka arrived a few minutes later - having also heard about the fire... and Alex and Lina. He had been wondering if Farlest heard yet, and how he'd taken it - having actually not seen the other in a day or two.
Crimson eyes widened a bit when he stepped into the classroom and saw the other, though, and he smiled. "Hi," he said quietly, taking the seat next to Far.

Far's eyes lit up when he saw the other and he reached over to squeeze Ka's hand. "Hey there...haven't seen you in a bit." He could tell just by watching the other that he knew about the fire, and that was all well and good...it meant that Far didn't have to work himself up talking about it...as that would upset him all over again.
"Hey, I think you'll like this class." He winked, "It covers the basics of the human body, but also some more fun things like chi and mana flow." That was, naturally, the part that he was more interested in. He loved being a Magic student, it was almost as though it were a part of his blood.

Ka smiled at that, and nodded... though he eyed the other kind of curiously. It wasn't quite as easy for him to read others as it was for Farlest. So after a glance at the computer screen, he murmured, "You heard about the fire and everything, right..?"

Farlest nodded, "Mmmhmm. M'going to visit Alex later, make sure she's all right." A flicker of upset touched his expressive features, and the boy quickly glanced back at the lesson, as it touched on the basics of acupuncture. Interesting...but not interesting enough to hold his attention for more than the few seconds needed to scribbled down brief notes.
"So what have you been up to?" A soft inquiry, "D'you want to grab some food at the mall after this?" A smile curved his lips upwards, as the thought of spending time with someone, and especially Ka, cheered him.

Ka caught that flash of emotion, though, and ducked his head a little. Oops... better not to mention it, maybe. He knew that Far was sensitive...
"Food sounds good," he said, smiling back at the other after another glance at his own screen. "And... maybe I could come with you to visit her," he offered then, head tilting just a little.

He shook his head, "M'alright...really...or at least I will be." He squeezed the other's hand again, long fingers curling around the taller boy's own. Far knew that the other cared for him...loved him, and that helped things immensely.
"Mmmhmm..." He pursed his lips thoughtfully, "I'd sort of like to visit her on my own this first time, if you...yanno, wouldn't mind too terribly." Alex was like the big sister that he'd never had...and the fear of losing her had been intense.
Frowning a bit, he wrote down yet more information, they were moving on in the lesson, finer points of human anatomy and the purpose of organs. All right, very familiar with that one, thank you very much.

Ka squeezed back with a sort of reassuring smile. "It's all right... I don't mind waiting until next time," he assured the other quietly. Looking back at his own screen for a moment, he wrote down a few notes and then kind of scooted his chair closer so he could put one arm about the other's shoulders.

Farlest made a purring sound, leaning over to rest his head on Ka's shoulder, though he was still paying attention, and if nothing else, the warmth and contact only helped him to focus still further. This lesson was interesting, yes, but at the same time....gods he was happy to be with Ka, especially after everything that had happened. He'd been an emotional wreck before...and was just starting to piece himself together again.

Ka smiled at that and made a similar sort of sound in return. He liked being close to Far... liked Far himself, obviously. And though he was now paying a bit more attention to the lesson himself, it was comforting to know that Farlest was safe. Ka found himself infinitely glad that the other had been nowhere near the Science building at the time. Otherwise... Knowing Far, he would have charged straight into the flames, regardless of any danger to himself.

It was interesting, that even at this school the class touched a bit on what Farlest would have considered 'sex ed'. Naturally, thanks to his father, he hadn't really gone to 'normal' school like everyone else, but his education had been just as extensive if not moreso. Far bit his lip, hiding a secret grin as he burrowed closer to Ka'hmesh. It was so very odd...but he supposed that the two of them could now claim the title of 'boyfriends.' It really should be made official sometime.

Ka smirked just slighlty as the computer kind of glossed over the sex ed part of the lesson. Good gods, he'd found out more about -that- simply listening to talk on the street than he could ever learn in a classroom. Shaking head slightly, he moved one hand to almost idly thread fingers through dark hair. "So what have you been doing with yourself, lately, Far..?" he murmured quietly.

He tilted his head up with a happy rumbling sound. "Not a lot...just studied, tried to keep up with things. I have trouble paying attention at times, its frustrating...that and I miss you when you aren't here." Truth be told, Farlest was hoping to ask the other back to his room tonight, even if for nothing else but to cuddle and sleep, but hopefully more. He'd like it if they could do that on a regular basis.

Ka laughed softly, and poked the other in a gently teasing sort of manner. "That's because you're always thinking of a thousand things at once... am I right?" he asked, with a little wink. Then he smiled at the mention of missing him and glanced around to be sure no one was watching before stealing a quite little kiss. "I miss you too."

He beamed and nodded, quite noticeably pleased by the kiss, which resulted in the slender boy wiggling closer. Glancing back over at his screen, he noted that they were drawing near to the end of the lesson, and he quickly began to jot summary notes down. Wouldn't do to not absorb important info just because he was all distracted now would it?
