My extremely loveable and extremely excitable parakeet got hurt. Then reopened his wound to where it bled so bad I had to take him to the animal hospital. He got two stitches ( rolleyes ) and a shot. So he's sleeping heavy right now.
But I gotta say I'm rpoud of the little guy, because one of the vets was like, "You're keet is amazing. He hoped right onto my hand and he was so nice about it."
Seriously this parakeet is freakin epic and lives up to his Norse name extremely well. He creates havoc and mischief constantly. He finger fights with us and he fears NOTHING!!! Dang I love that bird.
Lol, he sometimes ets so excited at seeing us that he goes into these burst of speend where he can't sit still or control himself. So he'll bob and weave or fly to the ground.

My friend had a blaze-winged parakeet. He was a real devil (probably because of his Latin name - Pyrrhura devillei), she was really glad he wouldn't speak human language. He would yell (and that was REALLY loud) in the morning as long as he wouldn't receive a piece of apple. And of course he would do things like going behind the closet set where she would come into her room and found no bird. He would also be offended and pretend to not notice her every time she would leave for something longer like vacation. He once hurt himself on his neck (put the head where he shouldn't, of course) - there was so much blood around that we thought it's some disaster. We took him to a vet already imaging what he'd do there. But no, he was such a good boy as never allowing the doc to what was necessary (he didn't actually cut himself so no stitches were required - just something in spray onto that abrasion). Nevertheless it was kind of funny to see him that nice wink . Me, I have a rat. Smart a** wink .

Lol, my parakeets are the opposite of that. They chirp a hell of a lot though, every day, all day long. They like rap music a lot too xd They always chirp whenever I play that.

Oh yes, I know of the loud chirping/yelling that they do for treats. My parakeets have me extremely well trained.
What's really sad is my mother thinks it's cruel to have 5, since it's an odd number and "somebody" gets left out. She wants to go to the bird farm and get another parakeet.

My Hollow Oh yes, I know of the loud chirping/yelling that they do for treats. My parakeets have me extremely well trained. What's really sad is my mother thinks it's cruel to have 5, since it's an odd number and "somebody" gets left out. She wants to go to the bird farm and get another parakeet. gonk NO SELF CONTROL- THAT WOMAN! And after she was going to take some back. xp

I've never had a bird as a pet, well I haven't had any sort of pets ever. sad

As I was typing this I heard some "angry" chirping, ran down stairs to find Tor beating the crap out of Loki. Freakin Tor.

It's like Carlitos and Miguel Angel, whenever they are inside their cage Carlitos is lord and master, but As soon as I put them out all hell breaks loose...Miguel Angel claims revenge and Carlitos has to fly anywhere else, outside of Miguel Angel's sight of, course.

Usually Tor and Loki get along. Tor was grooming Loki's face while we were in the car and at the vet today.
