Israfel marched himself up the middle of the stream as he hummed to himself cheerfully. He had taken up the habit of traveling in the stream rather than walking on dry land. He met many more interesting Soquili this way as they were all pretty much curious as to why he was in the water in the first place. Not to mention it led to lots of fun shinanigans with the cute mares he came across. Yep, this was deffinately the way to go. He was still rather curious though as to what the feelings were he had during his encounter with one particular mare and he had not been able to ask anyone about them yet but he did not fret over it too much. He would figure it out soon enough.

Cyrus walked around at his own pace now, he was older than most that roamed here...well been here the longest. His brows furrowed, he wondered how long he'd be here and stay as an recluse to his teepee. Nothing adventerous or exciting happened with him anymore. Well, kids and grandkids but he was starting to wonder if there was anything more. At his age? Probably not. He hadn't heard from Zephyr in forever as well as Resi, and the others. Sora and Talencia. He sighed softly, he wondered how she was doing. A smile appeared as he thought of the racoon colored mare. He then thought of his own childeren and their childeren. Perhaps he was just blind siding the things that were really important.
He made his way down by the stream to quench his thirst, as he arrived he saw a younger stallion, whom looked oddly familiar. He just couldn't place it, thats how he knew he was old. He just argued the fact by saying he was always forgetful since he was a young foal.

Israfel was unaware of the older black stallions approach and continued what he was doing, which was a whole lot of nothing at the moment. But to him it was something. His mind went from wondering about Alyna to his brother, Antirr, whom he had not seen in a while. Since they had grown, they had not hung out with each other. He was too busy going off on his own to worry too much about his brother. He still went with his father every now and then to visit his mother and that was enough family visiting for him. He did live with most of his family after all and so he really didn't see the importance of trying to visit everyone. His grandmother and father were always scolding him for that view as family was highly important to them. Oh well, he had better things to do and see. He was still young yet and no one was about to die suddenly.
The young white stallion looked down at the fish in the river who had taken to swimming about his feet when he stopped moving. "What do you think, fish? Am I wasting my time wondering when I should be visiting my other family memebers?" he asked them not really expecting an answer.

Cyrus took notice that the younger male paid no heed upon his arrival. He smiled softly as he watched him talk to the fish. "I think you answered your own question." he replied lowly as he went to the stream and dipped his muzzle in and taking some of it in. He looked up to the skies and the sun shone brightly. It would be getting hot for him soon with his dark pelt. His emerald orbs looked back to the stallion, "But thats just my opinion," replied the elder.

Israfel jumped at the sound of a voice behind him not to mention it being a male voice. The young stallion turned about quickly and just stared at the big black stallion who was in the stream with him. It would have been a lie to say that the white stallion wasn't afraid of this new Soquili in front of him. He had never really had a conversation with any other stallion besides those he was related to. "Really now?" he replied rather boldly with a bit of an attitude. "And what answer did I exactly give?"

Cyrus smirked at the young stallions 'ambition', he would call it. "Well if your questioning whether to do something, you already know the answer." he loved rolling around questions. He eyed the stallion, "Especially family, a young fella' like you has time to waste. So why waste it when you may be missing out on something more important." his brow rose as he dipped his maw back into the waters. He looked back at him, "Whom are your parent's may I ask?" he watched him. "I hate to sound odd about it, but you look strikingly familiar."

Israfel wasn't to pleased with the others smirk or his lack of a straight answer. He watched as the other continued to drink and rolled it over in his mind whether or not to tell him who his parents were. Why should he? He didn't know this stranger and for all he knew he maybe an enemy of thiers. "I wouldn't really be wasting it if I got lots of it and there is always time later for family." he remarked and flicked his tail. "And why should I tell you my parents names? I don't know you and for all I know you could be an enemy of thiers or something."

He couldn't help but laugh at the younger one's ignorance. He looked at him, "I assure you I have no enemies." That was fair, he didn't have any enemies. That he knew of anyways. "To be truthfully honest with 'ya, sorta look like a child of Settia's." he looked to him. That sounded bout right, he hadn't seen that mare in a long time, her and her mate Dyami. He missed them too, he was starting to feel like an old fart. The stallion wasn't as stupid as the younger one posed him to be, it seemed. He dipped his muzzle back into the water, the thirst not quite quenched.

Israfel raised an eyebrow at the stallions mention of his grandmother. He had thought that she had never gotten away from the teepee much and that she knew only those who were in the family. But this stallion had said he looked like her son. He looked the stallion over once more before he decided it was okay to talk to him. He did know gram after all. "I guess I can trust you seeing as you know someone in my family. You're close but actually, she is my grandmother. Jazz and Glow Heart are my parents. I have two brothers as well, Antirr and Rhapsody. Rhapsody is my half-brother." he replied and decided to dip his own muzzle in the water for a drink.

He smiled weakly, "Now I do feel old," he sighed softly. "I haven't seen Settia and Dyami for quite a long time." he added. "I believe I recall hearing of their childeren, but again my memory seems to be fading like that of my youth." he looked to the young male, seemed about right. He looked to be around Eve's age. He shrugged at the thought. He was very protective of Eve, just like Cynara. He figured he should go see how Moki was faring with Tsela and the rest of the family. It seemed like it kept growing, and growing.

Israfel just shrugged at the older stallions sighing. "Yeah, gram doesn't get out much anymore really. She pretty much stays close to the teepee or if she does go out it is to see grandad." the white stallion replied calmly. He did really understand the other's remeniscing being that he was still so young. To him things were still new and full of adventure.

"That's sad, I try and get out whenever I can." he smiled. "Seems there are always new baskets popping up around the teepee though. Someone has to be around when Pandora is though," he sighed simply as he looked to the younger stallion. "Bit of advice, stay away from unikalonas." it was said sarcastically, it was obvious but good advice.

"Unikalonas? What is that some kind of Kalona and Unicorn cross-breed? I thought Kalona and Unicorns were just legends. Never met either in any case and I have never met a Unikalona either." Israfel replied. He thought that those were just in the legends and stories his grandmother had told him as a foal for bedtime. "It is a shame that she doesn't get out too often. Sometimes I catch her day dreaming and she has a sad face when she does it." he finished, feeling a bit sad remembering the times he had gone to see his grandmother and she was beside the river just staring into it.

"They do exist, I live with one...two faced and everything." his brow rose, "You've never met a unicorn?" he let his eyes roll. "You have so much to see still, then." he laughed but stopped adruptly. "I'll have to pay Settia a visit sometime soon then." that actually sounded like fun. Though he hadn't seen Alona in awhile, he missed his old friends. The ones he hadn't seen in what it seemed like decades.

"Nope, I have never met a unicorn. The only unusual Soquili that I have met is a Wind and thats only because he lives with us at the teepee." Israfel answered and watched as the older stallion rolled his eyes and laughed. The young white stallion just sighed. So what if he was young and had yet to meet the strange creatures of the world? Isn't that why he was out wondering instead of staying back at the teepee or visiting family? "Going back to what I said about wasting time wondering. It's not really wasting time if I am out to explore the world since, as you have now hinted, I have much to see yet and many strange things to find out for myself." he pointed out to the black stallion. It was then that he realized he had not gotten the name of the Soquili he was talking to. "You know, I don't know your name."
