Rhapsody yawned as he walked through the forest. This was the first time he had been away from the teepee in months and he was glad for break from all the hustle and bustle. He never really had a reason to leave the teepee as most of his family was there. Though it was time he got out and about again seeing as his half-brother was beginning to get on his nerves with his taunting and calling him and old man. "I'm not an old man. Just not that interested in going out anymore..." he said to himself and pouted. Maybe Israfel was right...maybe he was getting a bit stuffy.

Liebe tossed her mane out of her eyes, ruffling her wings a bit with delight. She finally got away from her mother's hurt stares, the sadness in her eyes just barely masked by her love. She knew that Journey loved her very much, being that Liebe was her only daughter, but part of her also knew that Journey was hurt more than she knew every time she thought of the stallion that had left her with two young foals.
Sighing heavily, Liebe shook her head and continued trekking through the dark forest, her eyes catching nearly every flash of movement around her. Everything was a deep, healthy green, which made her stand out with her gray coat and golden accents.
She sang softly to herself, humming the lullaby Will Turner had sung to her as a foal when Journey was too depressed to do so, a song of the high seas and adventures. It was a lively tune, but it relaxed her every time; Will had been sort of a surrogate father to her, and she would never thank him enough for how he helped both she and her mother.

Rhapsody yawned again as he walked through the forest's deep green foliage. He wasn't paying much attention and he knew he should be watching for evil Soquili that might harm him. But he figured it wouldn't matter if he spotted them first or not. He was after all a bright pink eye sore among all the green plants and anyone could spot him from miles away. They really didn't have to try very hard.
The pink stallion shook his head. He shouldn't be thinking those thoughts. There were other out there worse off than he was and it wasn't like he could change what he looked like. He had tried to when he was younger and it didn't turn out very well. Besides, maybe it was better to be noticed rather than being ignored. It was then that his ears picked up a faint hum that was coming from some where near.

Liebe's humming grew louder, and she closed her eyes to concentrate on the tune. She swayed to and fro as she walked, tripping along the path at an increasing rate.
After a few more steps, she stumbled through the dense green foliage and hit something like a rock wall, but much softer and warmer. And pinker. It was a stallion, she realized after taking a hasty step back, a faint blush spreading over her face. Then she fully studied him for a fraction of a second, and her eyes grew wide.
"You're pink!" she exclaimed suddenly, a grin curling across her lips.

Rhapsody was completed caught off gaurd by the sudden appearance of the winged mare and her running into him that he couldn't think of a reply. He finally caught a hold of his mind and shook his head before he replied. "You should watch where you are going!" he exclaimed gruffly as he was a bit embarassed at the whole incident. "And yes, I know I am pink. Thank you very much. No need to stare."

Liebe jumped back, startled by the stallion's hostility. He was pink, he had no reason to be a grumpybutt! "But I like it," she giggled, shaking her head a bit in confusion. This stallion was a bright, happy pink, and she thought that he had no right to be all gruff and mean. He should be as happy and as giggly as she was! "Why, don't you like it? The pink, I mean," she asked.

He saw her confussion and sighed. He had snapped again when he shouldn't have and it really wasn't her fault that he wasn't paying attention. "I'm sorry for being so rude." he started. "I am glad you like my color. It's not that I don't like it. Sometimes I just tire of being so bright and visible to everyone and anyone." he said honestly. He really didn't mind being pink so much any more.

"Well, I like it," she said finally, closing the subject. She shook her forelock from her eyes, and realized that the humidity was making her feel a tad sticky and gross. "I'm AF Goldenes Herz, but you can call me Liebe," she said, a huge smile plastered across her face. "Would you like to come get a drink with me? I thought I might have heard a stream not too far from here."

Rhapsody smiled back. "My name is Rhapsody and it is a pleasure to meet you Liebe." he replied politely. She seemed a rather enthusiastic mare. He had never really met one with her zest. "A drink would be nice. The humidity is starting to get to me. I wish it would break soon and rain or something to cool things off a bit." he responded and looked up at the sky. There weren't any clouds in sight.

Liebe sighed as she followed Rhapsody's gaze up to the sky. She had been hoping for rain for quite some time, and when it finally came, she promised herself she'd dance in it for hours. Actually...
"Hey, Rhapsody," she began casually, beginning to walk in the general direction of the stream. "If the rain comes while I'm hanging out with you, will you dance in it with me?" She giggled a little. If that wasn't the most awkward sentence she'd ever said, she didn't know what was.
Oh well. She assumed it'd be fun playing in the rain like a foal again, especially with Mister Pinkie Rhapsody here.

He glanced at her from the corner of his eye and watched as she looked up at the sky with him. When she turned back to him, he did the same and smiled at her question. "Dance in the rain? I've never danced in the rain before, so I guess I could do that with you if it rains on us." he said not really seeing the request as awkward or weird.
He had seen others dance in the rain before but had never done so himself. When he was little, he would normally try to get dirty and then stay as far away from water as he could so he could keep his coat disguised. But those days were long gone.

Liebe's smile spread wide across her face. "It's so much fun, I'm sure you'll enjoy it," she said enthusiastically, leading the way toward the stream.
"There's nothing more... relaxing, cleansing... than dancing in the rain," she continued, taking a shortcut through the underbrush, holding bushes and branches out of the way with her wings as she beckoned Rhapsody past her. He didn't have any wings to protect him; might as well show a little hospitality.

Rhapsody followed her, feeling less tired than he had been before. Her enthusiasm was contagious and his earlier thoughts of feeling old and stuffy along with his half-brothers taunting was melting away. "I'm sure I will enjoy it as well. It is been a while since I have had any fun." he said as he bowed under her wings to get through the brush and branches.
It was a bit awkward as he never had a mare hold anything aside for him. Normally he was the one to do that. "I would have never thought about it as relaxing and cleansing either, but I am sure it is and I am sure I need that too." he said shakking his head and sighing. "My younger, half-brother has been teasing me, calling me an old man who is stuffy and has no fun." he finished and sighed again, letting his shoulders sag.
