Who's watching the DCI finals right now? Oh my god, I'm having tingly feelings all over... I really wish my marching band was this incredible. XD

As sad as it is, my last season marching was 2003 I believe. I miss it terribly. Makes me wish I hadn't quit college... sweatdrop

i only did it for 1 year.. then i had to move to japan, and my new school does have marching band.. and i wouldnt call the "band"(which i am in) a band

I have Sectionals in 3 hours then marching band after so I can't wait! I actually recorded DCI and am watching it right now. Too bad no one played Malaguena....Love that song!!

Actually, if you listened carefully to the Scout's Carmen performance, they snuck the theme in there for like 3 seconds. It was pretty cool.

I had my dad record it for me. Even though I am a junior and I still have marching band I know I am going to miss it.

I concur. Next summer will be my last in HS marching band, but we perform only in the summer in parades. No field shows-which i horribly wish we would, jsut because we would own. Anywho-it ended like1.5 months ago...*tear*

i am in year 9 (australia) and i moved two years ago from england away from my marching band. anyone know bedford's Distant Thunder Bugle and Show Corps that include woodwind by the way. well they are now european champions. how much do i now mss that. there is nothing here in aussieland. it's a good marching band hole. crying

I watched part of the DCI championships... but then I had to vacuum.
I'm in tenth grade, and I think that marching band would be so freaking awesome if the people in my high school band actually ATTEMPTED to get in straight lines. crying

my last year of marching band was last year..... i miss it so much! and this year they are playing the spy show that we were supposed to have last year!!! so jealous! sad and of course the college i wanted to go to doesn't have marching band.. i guess you can't always get what you want.... but i still miss it... when i went to my home show this past weekend, they wanted the alumni to play because the frosh sucked.... i was so tempted! ninja

At least you had to leave for school or family. I was told if my attitude didnt change towards the teachers I had to leave. And I left. I really hate our schools band teachers.
