OK, it looks like the preview for Turn Left has generated a lot of angst, so I figured we could get right down to discussing it.
If the chronology of the preview is the same in the episode, the Doctor "dies", then Rose comes back and finds him dead and meets Donna. Donna says, "Who are you?" and Rose says, "I was like you."
Now, like I said, if the chronology stays, then I think Rose will explain to Donna how she used to travel with the Doctor never thinking that anything bad will happen to either of them, and now she knows better and so does Donna. Rose got trapped on the A/U, and Donna's Doctor "dies." (I'm writing dies in quotes because obviously the Doctor doesn't stay dead.)
Also, lots of people are afraid for Rose to come back from the A/U, including me, because I suspect what we're going to get is a jaded, disillusioned, broken Rose. I hope that's not the case, but I guess we'll see.

Did anyone else notice that UNIT solider at the start of the trailer? Look familiar at all? I am pretty sure thats one of the two soldiers in the sontaran strategm that got all brain controlled and then gunned down by the sontarans.
WHAT DOES THAT THEN SUGGEST?! Alternate universe? Everyone but the doctor is alive? Who knows.....

I thought he kinda looked like Ross but then I figured that get one of those red berets on any brown-haired athletic guy and only get a little glimpse at him they'll look the same. But it could be Ross...but then how could it be Ross?
Ugh, this week is going by so slowly and I wanna see it now! >.<;; gonk

Willow--Rosenburg I thought he kinda looked like Ross but then I figured that get one of those red berets on any brown-haired athletic guy and only get a little glimpse at him they'll look the same. But it could be Ross...but then how could it be Ross? Ugh, this week is going by so slowly and I wanna see it now! >.<;; gonk I was wondering the same thing, but then figured it was just wishful thinking.

It was most likely him because do not forget the WHOLE timeline was changed because Donna turned right. He could have survived when UNIT and Torchwood tried to defeat the Sontarans. One thing I wanted to know is what happened to Jack when he ended up on the Sontaran's planet.

I just wanted to add that this thread was actually the first one, so EhmiEhmi didn't really do anything wrong. Unfortunately, the other thread had grown so fast that by the time I logged on Gaia, it was already two pages long, and it didn't seem right to shut down that thread at that point either, even though it was a duplicate.
But, yeah, it doesn't make sense to have two ongoing threads for the topic. Sorry, EhmiEhmi!
