On the top of the cliffs facing the ocean, and surrounding the cove is a forest, covered with deciduous and coniferous trees. The ground is littered with leaves, sticks, needles and other flora. The wind in the branches makes an eerie sound as you walk the hidden forest paths.

She made her way up from the beach and stopped at the entrance of the forest. She wondered how many branches she could collect, the sea mist has dampened most of the fallen wood surrounding the areas. She was still a good bit aways from the human camp and wondered if she went in further, if there would be dryer wood.
She lifted her head and sniffed the breeze, then tilted her head and listened. she heard naught but the wind and smelled nothing but the sea. She urged Shine down one of the forest paths and entered the hazy forest.
((TIME PASSES))
After a while, the sun nearly setting, she returns to the same forest path which she went down, and descends the cliffs back towards the others.

It is the day after the meeting. Dancer is in the woods with Fire Bright tracking bees. She also kept a close eye out for anything that might be amiss. Humans, animals and who knows whatelse. It made her only a touch nervous but not enough to keep her from trying to find the wild hive. It took her a good part of the morning but in time was located.

She moved close to the hive. She knew how these little sweet stinging bugs worked. Most made the mistake of moving close to them right in their flight path. She knew better from watching and getting stung a few times herself in the past. Still the bees would swarm if she tried to just take the sweet liquid without some fire smoke and a swift hand. She sent out to whomever might hear her. *Is anyone in the woods other then me at the moment?*

Blaze was perched on the crest of the cliffs, getting a small bit of enjoyment out of the hot breezes from the direction of the shifting sands and the powerful heat of the sun. The send woke him from his daydreaming, and he responded after a short pause. **I am at the crest of the cliffs. Keep your mind open, and I'll find you.** Dancer hadn't seemed frightened, so he gathered there was no danger, but she needed something. Perhaps this was a chance to break the aggression between them.

She made a face when she heard who responded. Great it was him. The hot headed, short tempered and unwanted Blaze. He could hear her sigh as she replied quietly. *Very well. Take care though. I am close to a wild bee hive.* She would love to see him get stung about ten times but pushed such fancies aside for now and waited.

Blaze's entire face lit up with a smile that would have given anyone else around reason for a double-take. **Bees? I love honey!** His sends had shed their oppressive heat, and taken on the feeling of a warm hug. He neatly flipped up and away from the edge of the abyss, all thoughts of opression and blood gone for the moment. Picking up Leatherback from where he'd been rooting for food, he headed merrily into the forest, and if anything more, he'd have been skipping.

She waited as she watched the bees wizzing in and out the tree hole. Her mind was a dull *here I am.* She gathered some damp twigs and branches some green leaves as well. Then thought for a moment. *Can you make a smoke or just fire?* He could jump for joy and her tone would still be rather flat to him.

Her flat tone put somewhat of a damper on his spirits, and the cool forest shade automatically lowered them further, but the prospect of honey was still foremost in his mind. **I need fuel for fire, and for smoke I need fire. So I do not make smoke, but I can.** He laughed at his own joke, and zeroed in on her position. **Is it a very big hive?** After a short while of pushing through the unfamilliar terrain of thick brush and hanging vines, he finally made it to Dancer.

She had a small pile of damp or fresh things that would not burn easily. She was making a small makeshift torch by ripping up bits of her skirt to tie the stuff to a thin branch. Now that he was here she spoke. "The hive is in that tree there." She pointed to a good sized tree. If we go in with smoke they will think the woods on fire and suck up honey. It makes them unable to sting. Now the ones not full of honey will indeed not be happy. So can you start this up enough to make it smoke or what?" She seemed to have little to no patience for this male.

He accepted the torch with a completeley uncharacteristic smile, and began to heat it to ignition point. "I can make it smoke better than anything normally would, an' without anything more than embers." The flame caught, and by manipulating it to keep it from growing, he caused the torch to give off a thick cloud of smoke. Keeping a respectfull distance, he began to waft smoke towards the hive. "I've raided bees nests before, and I always thought smoke just made 'em dopey. An' the rock bees were always unhappy. They'd chase anything fer twice the length of an arrow shot, and I've seen a human die from their stings. Poor rotter screamed like a mad thing." Backy had dropped to the ground, and begun to snap up low-flying bees drugged by the smoke.

Dancer half smiled. She figured she had to make the best of it and Vlaze did seem happy enough. But it wasn't his mood that made her mad this last time. It was Dew Paw being gone and he left her go alone knowing the danger. Still Dew was a wolf rider and even though she and her bond were young she was sure they would be ok. So the wild jungle elfess decided to try to put tht out of her mind for now and talk with her company. *If you like I will go over and get the bee wax from the tree. You try and keep that smoke going into the hive. Oh, and while I do this if you wouldn't mind telling me a little bit about yourself or something I would be greatful. It helps if I am not so focused on what I am doing to the point of being unable to do it.* It would be a background noise. Like needing the sound of the water or animals when going to sleep. She turned away with a basket she brought and started towards the buzzing hive slowly.
