Nothing to it. Nothing at all. Sure, he was a stranger around here, but adapting wasn't really a problem. He had a clean appearance, wondrous and attractive. The smile he wore on his features were easily distinguished as suave and composed. For all purposes he gave off the feeling someone very mature, though he just knew how to work it. Words were his specialty. There was no one who could turn words of murder into chocolate sweet kisses. Nobody who could make death sound like a stroll in the park. His voice was just that smooth and fluid.
He could lie nobody business. And secrets stayed secrets. That's why he was new. He'd come from elsewhere, and was gonna stay away from that place. So, new old him decided he'd take up leaning against a building and watching the sky go by. Clouds like fluffy marshmallows and flowers like buttercups littered the world. None of this really mattered. He found the beauty of nature to be boring, and would've rather picked up a someone else for a good time. Guys. Girls. He didn't care. Preference was useless to him.
So who would be his first victim today?

Clarissa yawned, strolling down the street. The feline purred softly as she twirled to a tune in her head. It took her a moment to realize that she had passed a male that made her wish to eat something. If it hadn't been for that twinge in her stomach she probably wouldn't have noticed him at all.
"Hello." She purred, walking backwards to stand in front of him as she spoke. "Who're you?" Clarissa asked, curious.

Female. Gorgeous female too. Electric blue and gold hair with beautiful eyes and marks on her face and arms. He grinned a little to himself, not showing it outwardly. He'd attracted another good one. They seemed to all be drawn to him, like he was something rare and limited and needed to be observed lest he should vanish in a puff of smoke. Instead of the mischievous grin, he gave the other a wondrously polite smile, "Muletto. And you, darling?"
Soft. Calm. Cool. Stay like that and it'll all be all right. She was a pretty little thing, and although he wasn't in that mood at the moment, he could start a nice little reputation. He had to start somewhere after all. Being new could be difficult if he started wrong.

"Clarissa." She smiled, offering her hand for him to shake. "I like your name, it reminds me how hungry I am." the female giggled, flicking her two tone tail back and forth in a playful manner.
At the moment she was hyper, and still quite hungry from looking at the handsome male before her. If she kept looking at him for much longer she would have to eat that sandwich she had packed for lunch. No matter, maybe he would be her new friend or something. "Have you ever noticed you make people hungry?"

Swiftly, he pushed himself off the wall, shoved one of his free hands into his pants pocket, and used his other to take the other's hand in his own, placing a gentle kiss on it instead of shaking it. "You've got a lovely name yourself, Clarissa." His smile was charming, his voice effortlessly soft and delicate, as if he was speaking for her and her alone. Like nobody else mattered. He just held himself like that. Seemingly funny and handsome, but truly a gentleman... of sorts.
At her comment though, he gave a light chuckle, eyes sparkling, "No. I don't think I have... what do you hunger for when you look at me?"

She blushed, hand going to her mouth to suppress a combination of a giggle and a gasp at his kissing her hand. He certainly was charming. "T-thank you." She purred, blue eyes fixated on him. She had already forgotten almost everything else as he spoke.
"You remind me of a raspberry chocolate ice cream.." Clarissa traced a few of his markings in the air, those where what most made her want ice cream. "It's rather handsome on you."

Ah, so she was the easy sort. He'd met quite the man and woman who had not been charmed by his most subtle and delicate of voices. The hardcore ones that never seemed impressed by anything and could only fold their arms and glare. Yet, somehow, he'd always gotten them to give in to him too. Nobody held out. It had given him a sort of power feeling. Of course, he always wondered if there was someone out there that could.
"Ice cream eh?" he replied fondly, a bit of a playful tone going into his voice and adding to the glimmer in his eyes. "Why thank you. I think that's a wonderful way to look at things." And he gave a smile to show he meant it.

Though she was blushing, Clarissa wasn't the easiest to get to do much that she didn't want to do. The female was just stubborn like that.
She giggled, smiling sweetly at him. "But it's not as nice when the person who's thinking it is constantly reminded of food by everything." Clarissa giggled a bit more, unable to take her eyes off of him for some reason.

She was definitely cute, he'd give her that. But he could see that she was captivated by him. He knew it wouldn't take long. It was always the pretty ones who thought themselves immune and then he came along and they found it so much more difficult than normal. He was sweet, innocent, kind. He asked nothing of them except a smile and a conversation, and they'd always given more.
At her statement though, he laughed a little louder, "Why I think that's precious! It makes you all the cuter." Compliments, compliments. He had a million up his sleeve. And even his odd vernacular didn't make the words any less wonderful.

Clarissa shook her head, some of her bright blue and golden locks falling over her eyes. "You're full of compliments aren't you?" she asked, tilting her head. While nice she had never found herself wishing for someone to give her such a thing. The feline was more than happy just being herself, no one needed to re-assure her with a petty thing as a compliment.

"Of course darling," he said, not thrown off by the response she'd given him. This was a little odd, but not a problem. He'd seen it happen before. It was typical. Woman wanted to try and prove they really weren't so easy and shrugged off his compliments at some point. Sure, maybe they really didn't care, and maybe they did. Who knew! He didn't bother to find out. It didn't much matter to him, he was just enjoying himself and the conversation with this pretty little thing.
"It's just my style. I see someone lovely and I'm going to tell them. Am I making you uncomfortable by doing so?" His eyes had gone soft with concern, his voice thick and sweetly laced with a quiet tease. He was intrigued by her behavior and wanted to keep her talking just a little longer.

She shrugged, "It's a little irksome.. Compliments are meaningless to people who are comfortable with themselves as they are other people saying that they like the other in some way shape or form." This much she was certain of, even if it wasn't always or entirely true.
"Some people enjoy compliments as it boosts their egos, some enjoy them because it helps with self esteem.. Personally I dislike the because most of the time they're hollow. No meaning at all behind giving or receiving them." The female flicked her tail, ear twitching as she saw a butterfly fluttering near his ear. She was doing her best not to pounce on it while in the presence of another.

"You didn't dislike them before when I complimented your name my dear," he said softly, but pointedly. A so this gentle flower could change herself on a whim? If that was how she played, let her be like that. He didn't mind. It was interesting. His own ear flicked as the butterfly flicked by it, his head tilted slightly, watching it. Gently, he reached out a paw and let it settle there on his hand. There was a handsome smile on his face, all the more beautiful because he was already interesting.
"I believe that even if people are comfortable with themselves, they should still be told nice things. There is nothing wrong with being kind and I can assure you Clarissa, I mean everything I say." He'd been looking at the butterfly, but as he said her name, he looked directly at her. His raspberry cream eyes shining brightly.

"A compliment on a name is different than a compliment on a person's appearance or personality." She stated, having learned that well enough while growing up. "It's even more different when a person isn't sure their name is a good one for them even if they are comfortable with everything else they are and do." Her head tilted the other way watching the butterfly as it rested on his paw. He was handsome, though she'd never admit it aloud.
"Not everyone enjoys it, though most people relish the idea of being complimented wherever they go." She smirked, if he meant everything he said it still didn't matter much to her if he gave out compliments so freely like the rest of the people in the world. "I never said there was anything wrong with being kind Muletto, just stated a personal belief on compliments." Her eyes flicked back to his face as she spoke this last sentence, blushing slightly as she saw him looking at her as well.

Muletto kept her eyes for a moment and then glanced back to the butterfly on his hand. He seemed so serene and peaceful in that moment, as if everything was perfect for him. Seemingly, it was. He lived his life through rose-tinted glasses. The butterfly closed its wings slowly, and then opened them without much fuss. It was a simple rhythm, like the wind through the trees, but he enjoyed it. Simplicity. It was a nice way to live life.
"I appreciate your opinion. I suppose you'll have to forgive me for being so forward then, my dear," he crooned, trying to make it up to her. A tiny spat. Nothing big in the scheme of anything. Already forgotten. He knew. The blush on her face told him everything.
