Rule of Thumb: Don't PuG anything bigger than Kara. Even then, be wary. If s**t gets ninja'd, thats what happens, and you ******** had it coming. Shut up and deal with it. If this s**t pisses you off hard enough to talk like that on Vent you should join a ******** raiding guild where the rules are clear, concise and concrete, and you will be held accountable by your actions. If you ******** up that hard, you're kicked, you're laughed off the server. Thats how it works.
I'm not really understanding whats going on here, though. Chick with a 375 tailor alt rolls on rare BoE tailoring pattern worth like 40k gold or whatever, she wins fair and square. Guild goes batshit because she doesn't want to use it on the character currently attending the raid and use it on her alt/sell it. She gets all defensive, offended, because she misunderstood the rules. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Whole thing is retarded/could have been easily avoided/dealt with poorly. Theres 1 guy, Jasst I think, that makes sense. One guy.
Pretty bad, but I'm not sure it was that bad to be worth 26 pages of forum posts : /

Its why all raids, including pugs, needs a clear cut rule page. Like seriously- on a website, written down, even the obvious ones, rules. People will play stupid over the most basic of raiding rules. Etched in stone actually, cause even if you just mention it 1000x, they'll claim you didn't. This is a big failure at the hands of whoever started up the run.
On a side note, I know I play a healer, but I totally want to roll on caster dps loot for my shadow priest, melee dps loot for my enhancement shaman, and tanking loot for my prot paladin.
Also the vent owner fails for not globally muting that girl right away.

Kimberly Ferris You don't have to log into a vent server to listen to it. I had tried that but no sound was coming out when it was "Playing". I made sure it wasn't muted or anything.

I listened to that crap a few days ago when it was posted on my server forums. I couldn't even manage to listen to it all. gonk I am a female raider, and the guild I am in has about about 9 females every raid. We would never act like that! Then again, we don't PuG. stare

Let me expand on your thoughts, because I'm also a raiding girl, in a guild with a female guild leader. I've found that its men & women who can behave like complete greedy jerks when it comes to guild loot. Even in a guild with loot rules spelled out clearly on our website. They're also explained to every new person the first time they raid with us. If you don't like the rules, then leave. No point in bitching. But anyway I just don't see this as being a "female" problem. I've seen just as many guys quit guilds or leave groups because they get all butthurt when an item they want doesn't go their way.
