At first Alexia had thought it was a game when she'd heard giggles and whispers coming from a room one time. But when she'd peeked her head in, what she'd seen was her friend making googly eyes at a girl and kissing her and telling her he loved her. That didn't look like any game she knew... She'd left without calling attention to herself and gone back to her room, suddenly feeling lonely. It was several days later and Alexia sat on the front porch of the main building alone. She sighed, bored. She didn't have many friends but the ones she did have were starting to pair off. As she sat there playing solitaire by herself she pondered what is was that made the others act so strangely. She liked guys as much as the next girl... But she had never experienced what her friends had. Alexia had never felt in the least inclined to make odd noises over a boy like Gracie did, or make googly eyes at some one, like Shyam. Was she missing something? Alexia frowned as she realized she was not going to win this round of solitaire and sighed again, gathering the cards to shuffle and start another game... alone.

Alexia felt a woosh of air and heard a yelp and looked up, seeing a dual toned feline standing there, glaring. Then she turned her head to where the yelp had come from. "Hey there babe... what are you doing all by your lonesome?" asked an oddly neon colored Wayward. He had a wide smile on his face and an amused look in his eyes. He seemed so totally relaxed and unconcerned with the situation that Alexia found it funny. She giggled. If he could make her laugh just by the way he acted, she had to know who this guy was. Maybe they could be friends. "Just playing solitaire," she finally answered with a smile of her own. "Who are you? And... what's going on here?" Alexia asked, gesturing with her head toward the feline.

Alexia turned to the feline. "Being interested in what she'll look like later does not neccessarily constitute 'making a move' on some one," she said calmy, pretending she knew what the heck she was talking about. "And besides, I would like to see what your daughter looks like when she grows up too. If she looks anything like you, she should be very pretty" Alexia hoped this would help. She wanted to get this neon colored male alone so she could ask him the questions she was sure he would know the answers to considering the situation he was in at the moment.

Tap, Alexia thought. They must be talking about a different kind of tapping than she knew. She felt so out-of-the-loop again. Taking the cards she just realized she still had in her hands Alexia started to put them back in the box, feeling that the situation was hopeless. Suddenly Alexia had an idea. She wasn't sure it would work, but she'd give it a shot... "Sir," she addressed Alekxiel, "I don't really know what you're talking about, but I have a deal for ya. Let..." Alexia turned and whispered to neon Wayward quickly "You never did tell me your name. What is it?" When he answered she turned back to Alekxiel, pretending that she wasn't nervous as heck. "Tell ya what," She started again, "Let Keller shuffle these cards here and then you and I will both take a card from the top. If I get the higher card, you'll let him be?" Alexia crossed her fingers mentally, hoping like heck that this would work.

Alexia gulped and nodded, handing the cards to Keller to shuffle, hoping he knew how to stack the deck. When he handed them back to her she stared at them for a moment before taking the cards from his hand. This was it. Alexia was finally going to take her chance at finding out what she was missing. That was, if this worked and she could get Alekxiel to go away and talk to Keller alone. She sighed. Now or never. Alexia held the cards out to Alekxiel. "You first," she said in what she hoped was a confident tone.

Okay, the guy had an eight, plenty of cards higher than that. Alexia closed her eyes and drew a card off the top. She took a deep breath, looked at the card and let out a sigh. Thanks to some god out there, but most probably to Keller's manipulation, it turned out she was going to get her wish. She smiled, holding out her 10 for Alekxiel to see. Now that she had won the game Alexia felt more confident, maybe even cocky. "Sorry," she said to Alekxiel with an unrepentantly bright smile. "Thanks for playing."

Alexia blushed and giggled. Now that she had gotten her wish, specifically being alone with Keller, Alexia wasn't quite sure what to do. "Yeah, I guess it is. Soooo..." she said. Alexia guessed she should start with what was upper-most in her mind right now. "What did the other guy mean, the 'I want to tap that tone?' What is that?"

"Oooooh," said Alexia. "I know what baby making is. But it all seems rather... odd to me. And, what is passion?" Alexia giggled nervously at her ignorance. Was he saying that baby making was fun? It seemed strange to her that some one could enjoy the process as it had been (briefly) explained to her by her owner. But apparently others must like it, cuz all her friends were... Well Alexia understood the mechanics, but she was sure there was something more that she wasn't quite catching on to.

I hope you know where I'm going with this, but just in case... Well, understandably, since this is her first relationship of the lustfull variety, she's still kind of unaware of some details of the mating process. XD But it doesn't mean she isn't willing to learn. So... this might be a good time for him to try something. Nothing too forward... maybe blowing sensually in her ear or kissing her cheek or something else to show her what passion is, rather than just telling her... Sorry, this note may not apply if you already thought of this or were wanting to wait for him to make his move or whatever...
