Kunda was lost. That was the only logical explanation that the honeyguide was willing to consider. The poor honey badger had simply wandered too far out of their usual haunts for her to find him easily. Kiongozi was not impressed, she'd been eager to tell him the tales of her adventures out and about and the great amount of help she'd been able to offer the goddess of souls. She still proudly wore the feather from the goddess, the white and brown feather was tucked amongst those in her own wing. It was safe, and only visible when she flew or if she wanted to show it off.
"Kunda, Kunda, Kunda," she murmured, perched by a tree she was not unfamiliar with.
"Kunda!" she called shrilly, trying once more but seeming to give up almost as soon as the chirp left her beak.

 Hopping lightly about her exploration path, Halili was certainly proud of herself. For once, she'd actually decided to do something bold; she was out and adventuring, on her own. Tail held high as she ambled down the path, the little white dog was simply in a proud mood of her accomplishments. She'd yet to do much, but.. something good was bound to happen! If she stayed positive, and kept her spirits up, something WOULD happen!
Flickering her ears at the sound of squawking, Halili looked up to the tree above her. Was that.. some kind of bird? Squinting slightly, she attempted to get a better view of the animal, tail wagging the entire time.
"H..hello?" She called tenatively, voice light and airy. Maybe.. she could talk to it?

Being as Kiongozi was looking for a decidedly dark-furred critter that had run off on her, she didn't exactly pay any attention to the small white critter that was prancing merrily towards her tree. Not until it spoke to her anyway, and the little bird was forced to turn her attention from her search to the pup.
"Hello," she said, looking the pup from nose to tail thoughtfully, staying where she was, "You! Have you seen a honey badger? He's small, grey, not very smart.. answers to the name Kunda." Usually.
