June 22, 2008 is the official release date for the new toyline. At least here in the States. How many of us are ready for that date? I have been saving my cash for that date to get as much as I can, and just possibly have some to spare now. According to Teletran-1 there are set waves of toys to come out. Wave 1 involves four Deluxe class (typically $10 or so), three Voyager class (about $20), and one multipack ($40?). I can't wait!

I've seen Waves 1, 2, & 3 of the deluxes around here. Only seen Wave 1 of the voyagers.
So far, there's only 2 figures I plan on getting left. Deluxe Ratchet and deluxe Blackaracnia. Voyager Prime, Grimlock, and Lugnut are on my list as well, but they're not out here yet.
Haven't seen the 2-pack yet.

Maybe your area is the one place in North America that's honouring the release date? That'd suck.

I found a whole bunch of the Animated stuff at my local Walmart about a week ago. I picked up Lockdown, Ratchet, Blackarachnia, Prowl, Optimus Prime, and Starscream.

After driving to the next town over, I managed to get the two-pack (dvd not worth it, but toys are), Ratchet (whos tools need storage in vehicle mode), and Blackarachnia. I would have gotten more, but that was literally all they had.

I was thinking about the 2-pack, but I think I am going to wait for the Voyager Optimus Prime and the Leader Class Megatron.

2-pack megs isn't bad at all, but the Prime in it is worth the cost all alone in my opinion. He is well molded, his axe is awesome, and frankly, I am enjoying them very much!

I've seen all of them in Wal*Mart and Target around here. Sadly, though, I'm broke. crying I'd love the Megatron, though.

Hi guys,
I wanted to post this earlier, but I've been busy the last couple of months sweatdrop . Anyway, I saw the new Animated Soundwave, and I must say, I was VERY disappointed they turned him into a vehicle. Being a fan of the transforming gadgets, I was hoping they would make him into something along the line of the Real Gear stuff. On the other hand, I guess if he was just a gadget, he wouldn't be very animated or mobile.

well i happen to agree. Soundwave is one of my favorite characters and they could have at least made him into an i-pod or something! But if you think about it he was something like that at first so i guess we'll let it slide. I do however like the fact that it came with a laserbeak, that was a nice nod towards the G-1 series.

In the series, he was a musical bot that upgraded himself to become that vehicle. By the end of the episode, he was shattered and ended up looking eerily like his G1 counterpart in alt mode. Perhaps there is hope yet?
