A guide sat at the waters edge, her nimble feet dipped into the cool fluid; shoeless of course. She had her small black hat removed and sitting next to her on the grass where she placed her footwear. Her long straw hair was flowing loosely down her shoulders, nimble fingers twisting her locks into braids; one after the other. A song filled the air around her, for she sang a song to herself.

"I see the flowers floating upon the waters curve
The swirling waters spin the round~"
She sang pleasantly. She paused, leaning foreward to gaze down into the darkness of the river.

Tortie

PostPosted: Sat Jan 15, 2005 10:13 am

Tortie wandered aimlessly around the unfamiliar territory of the Talaye Meadow. Her tightly wrapped arms held a small Talaye basket, it's plush pink blanket brushing softly against Tortie's skin. She smiled down at it, a feeling of security gleaming from within. She heard the faint sound of rushing water and decided to move towards it. Before long, she comes to a hault infront of a gorgeous river. She looks around and to her knowledge, she is the only one for quite some way. She sits down by the edge of the water, places her basket close next to her body, and runs her hands through the clear, peaceful tide. She takes a deep breath and looks down to her basket. Again, smiling at it's beauty. She lays down on the delicate grass and shifts her basket to her side. She falls fast asleep under the warmth of the sun.

Apothecary walked along the riverbank. Tired from a day of walking and looking at all the hills in the meadow. She is holding her basket on her right arm. The blanket inside felt nice on her skin. She has been walking all day and was looking for a nice spot to rest. As she was walking she saw something in the distance. With the basket in hand, She ran towards the object. She did not care if it was friendly or not. As she was running she could get a better picture of the object. It appeared to be a person with a basket. Apoth starts to slow down. The person was sleeping and she did not want to wake them. She finally came up to the person and noticed it was a girl. Apoth sat a few feet away and put her basket down. She took a sip of the water. It was the best she had ever tasted. It was clear and cool. She sat there looking at the sky until the person woke up.

Even though she didn't hear Apothecary, subconciously her body awoke her. She was startled for a moment, and her muscles became tense. After letting her eyes become acustomed to the light, she loosened and sat up. Quickly she checked for her basket and knowing it was there, she calmly caught the other girl's eye.
"Hello," Tortie said in a steady medium-pitched voice. Her manner was friendly and she looked over at what Apothecary was carrying. Another Talaye basket she smiled warmly.

Hello. My name is Apothecary... Or Apoth for short." She said with a friendly voice. She noticed that the girl also had a basket. "don't you love these baskets? I love mine." Apoth cuddled her basket. "Today is a wounder-ful day. The sun is shining but it is not to hot," She said. "What is your name if I may ask?" She smiled and then rose to her feet. With a couple of quick streches, She was ready to walk again.

Tortie liked the warm attitude of Apothecary. She picked up her basket and rose to her feet herself.
"My name's Tortie," she looked down at her basket, "Yes, I love them! I can't wait until I can see my little bundle of fluff." A giggle developed inside before emerging into a slight laugh.
"Were you headed anywhere in particular?" she asked, wondering if maybe she could go along for the company.

"I know. I can't wait until I get to see mine also" She said. "I'm not heading anywhere really. You can come if you want." Apoth began walking aimlessly. "You know. I have always thought this place was wounderful." She said. Looking at the sky she pointed at a cloud. "That one looks like a cake." She giggled while saying it. "Don't you think this place is great?"

((I have to go for the night. I was up until 3 this morning... And then I woke at 7 and staied up for another hour. Good Night!))

She was glad her newly made friend invited her to walk with her. She was usually alone and being with someone else made her feel warm.
"Thank you for allowing me to come with you," she said, almost sounding cheesy.
"This place is wonderful," she nodded in complete agreement. Looking around, she felt a sense of realism, of a wild that was tamed. She giggled as she looked at the same cloud. "I think it looks more like a cupcake," she turned her head slightly to watch it from another angle. The clouds were moving fairly fast for clouds, and they quickly changed to other figures. She breathed deeply, letting her lunges fill up with the beauty of the Silent River. "It's so peaceful here," she added.

(( That's fine. I have to be going too. Aw, you need your sleep! heart Thanks for RPing! G'night! ))

"No problem," She said friendly. "It is better to walk with a friend then to walk alone." Apoth looked at the cloud again and saw the cupcake Tortie saw. "Now I see it." She laughed as she said it. A brust of wind came and pushed against them. "So the wind kicked up, eh?" She said in a funny voice. "Yes it is peaceful here. I love this place. So friendly and loving." She tried to hide the dorky-ness of that statement. She contined to walk until she stoped. She looked at the ground and picked up a rock. "This rock looks like a shark tooth." She pointed out. "Don't you think so?"

(( xp Anytime. I lvoe RPing. 3nodding ))

"Definitely," she added to Apothecary's statement about walking with a friend. She gave another glance at the clouds; the gracefully swirling white movements.
"Looks like it," she wasn't very fond of wind. Her hair was quite long and light and with every slight breeze, it blew into her face. She giggled to herself as a strand covered her eyes. She placed it behind her ears, hoping it would stay. "I haven't been here long, but from what I've seen this place is friendly and loving. I took a brisk walk from the meadow and saw a bunch of owners with their Talaye playing. It's so sweet to watch," she smiled at the image in her mind. She checked down at her basket, in a motherly way, and looked over at her friend again. She stared at the rock for a moment and agreed.
"Yeah, it does look like a shark's tooth," she nods, "or an arrowhead." She giggled as she took a breath.
She decided to take the conversation back to their baskets. She thought about it for a split second. "So what are you hoping for?" She freed a hand of her own basket and motioned toward Apothecary's.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 16, 2005 9:27 am

"Well... I'm hoping for a boy. But if I get a girl it ok." She said with a smile. "I love all the Talas." She nodded with that statement. She looked down at the rock again. Then she put the rock back on the ground for another person to look at it. "I'm just glad I got a basket." Referring to the other coment about the basket! "I can't wait for them to hatch. She smiled with that statement. "What are you hoping for?" She asked.

(okay, Lornala is now gone. I want to roleplay with my basket too. Ish that ookay with you guys?)

Split Personality, dressed in her cat uniform, was walking quietly with a stern look on her face. In her frail arms lay a basket, heart shaped blanket wrapped tightly around something. Sp didn't dare open it forcefully. She lifted the basket to her ear, listeneing. She could hear something that reminded her of breathing, but the voices of others filled the air. She smiled, hurrying her desent to where the two were. She smiled up at them. "Hiya's. Can I join ya's?" She asked, not wanting to interupt anything. Her face now had the expression of happiness for she saw they had baskets too. "I see's ya's got's a basket too."
