The Wills of the Two Girls Clash Again! Albireo + Prince vs. Daybreak + Twilight! BEGIN!

WE BE RANDOMIZING UP OUR FIELD NAO ;O
A large screen towered over the stadium. A spinner with twelve different battle field locations displayed on the screen, waiting to be choosen. One of the trainers jumps to the control room and presses a big green button to start up the spinner. The screenshots of each battlefield light up as they are passed by the spinner. Finally, the light stops on a picture of a cactus...
THE DESERT FIELD
Powerful heat lamps, with the addition of the stadium air conditioners set on “hot”, create the authentic heat wave needed for this particular territory. Heated sand stretches from trainer platform to trainer platform. There is very little to no shelter areas in this field, the only things truly to hide behind is a single cacti standing tall near the eastern end of the field and the large boulder of sandstone that lays centerfield. Various chunks of rock and desert plants (far too small to hide behind) are scattered randomly in the sand. On very random occasions, if this field is selected, the scenery will change to a monsoon setting. The ceiling will be closed and the temperature will drop several degrees to a much colder level. Harsh rain-like settings will rain down on the two battling pokemon, causing the sand to turn to mud and the field will slowly start to flood. Movement is very difficult and visually is poor.

Luna nearly bounced to her trainer platform, she was very excited about the prospect of a new battle field. Of course, the sun wasn't being too nice right now...The trainer wiped some sweat off her brow and pulled her straw hat from its position around her neck to over her head to offer some shade.
This was also a two on two battle...meaning she got to use two of her pokemon. Her first two on two was a big failure, but she believed that her team had worked hard to improve from that point. Now, who to use for her first pokemon? Luna paused her thinking for a moment to look up at the other side of the field.
"Hi Piney!" She shouted as she spotted the other trainer enter. She felt her tongue shrivle up. Oops, better not talk too much.

Piney walked up to the platform, still fully dressed in her police uniform. She was going to go back on duty after this battle, and didn't want to waste energy changing. But now, with the stadium revealing the desert field, she wish she had.
Unclipping two Pokeballs from her belt, she was eager for some action. The officer hasn't had a fight here in a while, and was glad she was starting anew with a familiar face. A couple months away resulted in stronger Pokemon and some new tactics you want to try out.
"Hi Luna! Are you ready?" Piney replied back.

"Of course~!" Luna said with a smile, clenching two of her own pokeballs in her hand. Both were shaking with excitement and she was as well. Albireo's pokeball was more of a cheerful wiggle while Prince's ball vibrated. He must be practicing his battle yell.
She waited for bouncy to start off. She was starting to sweat. A lot. The black haired battler prayed she brought some water with her. She would definately need it later on.

Glancing down at the two orbs she held in each hand, Piney debated which one to choose. She took a moment or two before deciding the first Pokemon to be sent out.
"Let's go Daybreak!" She cried while hurling the Pokeball into the air. Out with a red flash came an Espeon, who landed in the soft sand on her feet.
Daybreak was a bit in her region here, with the intense light giving her strength. But it wouldn't be any help to her if Piney didn't manage this battle right.
"Calm Mind!" She commanded. She didn't know what Pokemon Luna was going to send out, so it was best to boost her stats first to prepare for anything.
Daybreak's gem flashed from the light glaring in all direction and from the concentration of psychic power. She sat motionless on the sandy arena, focusing her energy into muscles.

"Okay~! You're up! Prince!" Luna threw out a pokeball, enlarging it just before it left her hand. The ball opened to unleash a white beam of light that eventually formed into the shape of a pidgeot, proudly soaring the skies.
Prince was smart enough to know to keep silent. He needed to reserve as much water as possible.
"Mirror move Prince!"
Prince's eyes glowed as he stared at Daybreak's attack. Soon, he was hovering in the air, boosting his own power.

Piney drummed her fingers on the railing, almost smiling. The last time Daybreak fought Prince, he was Pidgeotto back then. There would be no HP advantage for her now. But seeing how he still wasn't ready to attack, it was up to her to inflict the first damage after all.
"Ok, give him a full blown psychic!"
Daybreak stood back up, stretching her limbs and gathering her energy for a devistating attack. She eyed the large bird Pokemon hovering above her, and with a flick of her tail, released a burst of raw psychic energy.

"Dodge and use feather dance!"
Prince flew upwards into the sky to miss the brunt of the attack, only getting a few tail feathers torn. But that was damage enough for him. He hated the espeon enough from his pidgeotto days and now she was back to ruin his feathers again!
Prince soared over Daybreak, releasing down glowing down feathers. The beautiful sight caused anyone witnessing it to lose some of their battle will.

Daybreak smirked as the Psychic knocked some feathers loose. But when more of them became swirling down in a pretty display, they almost sapped some of her fighting energy...
Hissing, she knocked one of the feathers out of the air, claws outstretched. She wasn't going to lose like that!
Piney was at first confused as to what a shower of feathers could do. But then seeing Daybreak doze off like that, she knew she couldn't even underestimate a molting Pidgeot.
"Use a Calm Mind again!" She called out, pleased that she still had some spirit left.
Clawing some more feathers to the ground, she regained her focus and sat still. Her gem gleamed again as she focused on enchancing her strength, and ultimately her attack power.

'Well...that was a waste of moves...' Luna thought to herself, chuckling a bit. Oh well. She was still adapting to the stat boosting moves, it was good practice.
"Prince! U-turn!"
Prince dove down from the sky at the espeon while it was charging its calm mind. He quickly dove in and pecked quickly at the pink blob before returning back up into the air, not knowing if he had hit or not.
((Note I'm only using it for attack, not switching :3

Daybreak jumped backwards as she saw the Pidgeot diving towards her. She narrowly avoided getting pecked at, and managed to create a safe distance between her and him.
Piney cheered silently as she dodged the attack, and was in a good striking position. "Now, attack with Swift!"
The Espeon summoned her energy again to form phantom-like stars with razor sharp edges. Quickly, before Prince flew out of range, she launched the stars at his wings.

"Prince! Go up, quickly!" Luna shouted, knowing that it was hard for Prince to look backwards while flying. The windspeed would have twisted his neck and killed him.
Prince managed to avoid the stars using his speed in the air. The waves of warm air pushing him upwards helped a lot as well.
"U-Turn!"
The large pidgeot dove down towards Daybreak again. In a blink of an eye, he he passed her and made his way up back into the sky.

Daybreak was focused on the Swift stars, even as they soared past the intended target. Once she saw Prince's shadow loom over her again, it was too late to dodge. She swerved to the right, but still got a solid peck on the shoulder.
Piney started to worry about the U-turn, being super effective against both her Pokemon. Though Daybreak might last a while, the opponent still had the edge.
"Ok, let's try another Swift!"
Daybreak, instead of conjuring new stars, make the old ones that still were floating around to dive at the Pidgeot. A attack from behind would hopefully be less avoidable.

Luna, having a better view than her pokemon, saw the swift attack reflect against the harsh sun of the desert before Prince. She needed to warn Prince to move, it was the least she could do as his partner in battle. "Prince! Behind you! Dive down again!"
Prince ducked down into a dive once more, preventing the stars from digging straight into his back. He did, however, get some pesky stars passing his tail feathers, cutting some of them. Darn, tail feathers would take WEEKS to heal.
Needless to say, Prince was angry. He dove down again for another U-turn.
