 Jaha was having a pretty good time talking to Sura. She seemed pretty fun to talk to. She wasn't exactly like the other lionesses he had met. Most of the other lions or lionesses seemed to try to avoid him for some reason. It was probably because he actually had a very cub-like personality. He seemed rather oblivious to their taunting or flirting, if they were female, as he generally thought that it was a type of game they had made up for them to play. The only reason he wasn't acting so immature right now was he didn't have enough energy. He had never really learned to grow up because he hadn't really had anyone to teach him. He was lucky to have survived. But now he seemed to be having some trouble surviving. He now needed to stay with Sura for awhile. At least until he was able to get himself to somewhere he could stay alive.
"So, Sura, do you think maybe we should get moving?" He wasn't exactly happy about the pain in his paws but he would rather get his favorite place; anyplace with water. His body was debating against itself. The nerves in his paws wanted him to stay put but his stomach wanted him to get anywhere with food. Well, his belly wanted to do the talking.

The sun was beginning to angle down toward the horizon. Though it was still well into the middle of the day, she knew that sooner or later, the light would begin to fade. Later, she presumed. She loved this time of day, when the sky was bluer than blue, and there was hardly a cloud in sight.
Sura watched as the wind chased a fluffy white cloud across the sky, with a small smile on her muzzle as the wind caressed the grass around her.
The sound of Jaha's voice brought her out of her reverie, and she turned her head toward him. She watched him wordlessly for a moment, her turquoise eyes half glaring at him and half gently watching.
"You," She said, her brow creasing into a slight frown. "Your paws are never going to get better if you move around so much, you know." She lowered her gaze down to his paws, watching them with a critical eye.
Those things were what had brought Jaha here in the first place. She supposed, though, that his staying was doing her a world of good. Sura had never been particularly close with any of her siblings, and that made for quite a lonely life. She tended to find herself wandering the Kusini lands on her own.
Until she had met Jaha, that was. His injured paws had meant she had opted to stay with him until he got better, and she had recently come to find that having the company was not half bad.

"Yeah, I suppose your right.", he said noticing how she seemed to want to make sure his paws healed. Not so sure of what to do in the meantime, he plopped his butt on the ground. He really needed some sort of authority figure that would tell him what he should do. He never actually had anyone that would tell him to do something in his best interest. He sort of liked it. Sometimes, it was nice to have someone make decisions for you. But since he would have to stay put for a while, he would have to find something to do. Normally, he would have simply gone into the river and swam around, but seeing as there was not a single drop of water in sight, he would have to find something else.
Hmm. This was very irksome for Jaha. He wasn't used to being bored. This deserted area had nothing to mess around with. At least nothing that wouldn't hurt his paws. He tapped his tail on the ground in frustration. Lets see what to do, what to do. Ah ha! He turned his head towards his tail and playfully started batting at it. It wasn't the most fun he had ever had but it was something to do. Not quite being able to reach it, he turned a little bit. But as he turned, so did his tail. He began following it in hopes of reaching it. But his tail moved just as fast as he did. He spun faster and faster until he was thoroughly dizzy. He watched as the world seemed to swirl around him and fell on his back. "You win this round tail!", he mumbled, sounding completely disoriented.

Sura sat, watching in amusement as Jaha chased his own tail. It couldn't be that boring, could it?
But then again, there was nothing at all nearby that wouldn't do his paws more harm than good, and he couldn't very well be expected to simply sit where he was and sleep the day away.
"You silly thing," She said with a small shake of her head. Sometimes, it seemed rather like he was a huge cub that she had run across that never grew up. Still, she supposed it was better than the solitary lifestyle she had been leading. If not for her mother, she probably would have left the pride long ago for a life out in the rogue lands.
She stood, and went over to him, pawing at him once. "Okay, if you're that bored, let's just go find someplace with water."

Jaha was completely oblivious to Sura's amusement at his wild behavior. That was ok though because his childlike actions would not cease as it was his true personality. At least he would be keeping Sura entertained, even if he didn't know it.
He watched the savanna swirl around him dizzyingly. He knew that he had simply spun too much but he hadn't really been so dizzy since he was a cub. As he gazed into the sky, his head rotated in small circles, an indication of how disoriented he truly was. Instead of just the plain blue of the sky spinning, he saw a small white cloud in the mix. "What a pretty cloud...", he mumbled, reaching his paw to the sky as his eyes began to regain focus.
He saw Sura's black paw gently move over him as she suggested they go find some water. Needless to say, Jaha was thrilled! As soon as he heard this, he quickly rolled onto his stomach and violently shook the dirt off him. "Water?! Where?!"
