---Introduction---

For as long as there has been life there have been diseases to taint and steal it away. But what happens when a disease that gives birth to new life plagues humanity? What happens when it changes you against your will or with it, when it creates a whole new race of superbeasts fueled by the most basic of instincts?



No one is quite sure where it started, but among the Diseased there is a legend that the Demon of the Moon and the Demon of the Shadows battled for centuries over who was the strongest. When humanity was created the Demon of Shadows quickly sought out who he thought was the race’s most dark and beautiful member and bit her, bestowing upon her the power to defeat the Moon Demon. But the Moon demon was cunning and found his own human, one who was strong and bestial. He bit the man, giving him the power to transform into a monster that could defeat the Shadow Demon and his creation. But the Diseased could not kill each other. Their powers remained equal, just as their creators. Outraged, they sought to form armies, and for centuries the sides flourished as their anger did. A great war swept across the land…Until Earth herself had had enough. She took two of her own children and gave them the gift of the cure. The first was lured into a trap by the beautiful Diseased Shadow and destroyed. The Earth hid away the soul of the second, awaiting the right time to give her life again. She gave instructions to her followers of how to use the cure and how to find her when the time came. If they failed the Shadow and Moon would swallow up all that was living into the vortex of their unending war.

---Setting---

New York. January 1st, 2012. The city is a shadow of its former self. Only the most fortunate of beings manage to escape poverty. There are busses but cars are rare, and most people don’t bother with either and just walk. Crime, however, is at its peak. People go missing every day and the police themselves have become corrupt or to afraid to interfere.
The Diseased have parted into two sides: those seeking the Cure, called the Cursed, and those wanting to destroy the Cure, called the Rouges (or Gifted, depending what side you are on). There is still some tension between the Shadow Children (Vampires) and the Moon Children (Lycans), but they have united under the common goal of kill or cure.

A small band of Cursed has taken up residence in an abandoned warehouse.
The first floor is a sort of living room where everyone spends most of their time. To the left it has a black and white TV with no cable and some old video game console that doesn’t really work, and four large couches that are used as beds at night. To the right is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, a freezer big enough to hide two bodies, a stove, and a countertop, along with a dining area that consists of a broken table with a taped leg built for six and three chairs.
In the back are some metal stairs that lead to the second floor. Up there are a pair of bunk-beds shoved in the right corner, and to the left are two bathrooms. Each bathroom has a hand-drawn stick figure of the gender that is allowed in. The men’s bathroom has a shower, sink, and a toilet. The women have the same, but are also graced with a tub. Boys must ask nicely if they want to use it.

There is a group of Rouges to rival those Cursed. They are lead by the richest man in the city who also happens to own the largest building. He lets his most trusted followers live there, but they are not allowed to disturb the servants, workers, or guests of the building. The leader has the top floor to himself, while the followers stay in rooms underground.

-----Shadow Children-----
Vampires. Contrary to popular belief, vampires do not live forever, and they can go out in the sun (Sorry, no withering away into ashes here). They do live to be about double the average age of humans, however, and the sun makes them feel sick and drains their energy if they remain in it for too long. Their disease requires that they feed off of blood to survive, but as they are still partially human, normal food will hold them over for at least a week or two, unless they have lost blood from an injury. Severing of the spine or head can kill them, as well as a complete loss of blood, wound to the heart, or asphyxiation (yes they breathe!). Oh, and they laugh at crosses and many rather like garlic.

-----Moon Children-----
Lycans or werewolves as some know them. They too live a bit longer than humans, maybe thirty or forty years or so. It is common knowledge that some compound in pure silver hurts them and causes burning, but only in large doses can it cause any real damage. They have a high tolerance to pain and it takes some serious wounds to kill them, but most things considered deadly to humans is deadly to them. When they transform, Lycans look like huge wolves. The transformation process consist of shedding an outer layer of skin, much like being flayed alive, and the rearrangement of the bones, muscles, and other inside to match the wolfs form. The pain is immense during the process, but an experienced Lycan can change within seconds.

---Cursed---
Our little group was formed two years ago by Logan. They are all outcasts for one reason or another. Logan found them all and personally invited them to be a part of his “team.” All members live in the warehouse, but a few might have a place somewhere else that they sometimes stay at. Can be human, Vampire, or Lycan.

---Rogues---
This group has been working together for different periods of time. Only a few have managed to stick with Alec for long, and they are his most trusted followers. Either they came to Alec or he found them. Can be Vampire or Lycan. If you want to be a human, give a good reason why he would keep you alive.

1.) Read all of the rules…yeah. Oh, and the bio subject is “Doodleberries.”

2.) Do what the GMs (Me, BellaTheDevious, My Pearl Angel) say, pretty please. We can be quite cuddly if you stay on our good side. (>O.o)>

3.) While this is a pretty serious RP, don’t be afraid to throw in a ton of comic relief. We would all really appreciate it.

4.) Of course, follow the Gaia ToS and such.

5.) No cyber. You can get close to those scenes, but when things start getting spicy you should leave the rest to imagination.

6.) Try to give me at least 2 paragraphs a post, and use detail. I do forgive writers block, but not for your first post.

7.) Please don’t leave. Oh, and I changed my mind. The bio subject is Rock Salt. That really sucks.

8.) No godmoding, unless you have permission. Just ask to GM my character if you really need to.

Name: Logan Gray (EndOfDawn)
Age: 35 , but looks to be in his late 20’s
Race: Lycan
Side: Leader of the Cursed
Personality: Logan was born a leader. Even at a young age he had trouble following orders but would easily rally his peers into stealing cookies or throwing water balloons at girl scouts. He is contemplative and often quiet, but when you do get him talking he is sarcastic. Logan is kind at heart and does what he can to keep everyone he takes in happy but his solid nature makes him seem intimidating to newcomers.
Appearance: His eyes are amber, not blue. His left shoulder is scarred from the bite that infected him and a series of other scars run along his chest, back, and arms from his difficult years working under Alec. He is very tall, standing at 6’3, with compact muscles and long arms and legs.
History: Logan was human for eighteen years. This was the time in a person’s life when they were tossed into the real world, when they really became an adult. Logan was sure he was ready. He had his bags packed and a plane ticket that would take him to Europe, where he would be studying for a major in literature and a minor in the “food arts,” though he would never admit the latter to any of the Cursed that brought it up now. But the night before he was to leave he took a visit to his parent’s apartment, only to find that they had been murdered. Logan saw a dark shape leaving the scene and followed it. He trailed them a half a mile until he cornered them in an ally way. Logan had been prepared to fight the person with a knife he had grabbed, but when the man revealed himself from the shadows and transformed into a wolf before his very eyes, he was forgivably caught off guard. The beast dove at him, biting him in the left shoulder. Logan somehow managed to stab it in the eye while it was attached to him. It screamed and left him for a moment, only to turn and charge once more. But the creature never made it. A shot rang out and it fell to the ground, motionless. Logan blacked out, and when he woke up he was in a clean white room. A man stepped forward and introduced himself as Alec, explaining that Logan’s parents had been killed by a werewolf that was working for a group called the Rogues. He explained the legend of the demons and the search for the Cure. Alec told Logan that he was a Vampire, and that Logan himself would soon be a Lycan. He also explained that he was a part of the group called the Cursed who were searching for that Cure. Alec stayed with Logan during his first few changes and even got a more experienced Lycan to help him through it. After Logan had gained control of himself, Alec offered him the position of assassin for the Cursed. For seven years Logan worked next to Alec, until one day the truth was revealed to him: He had been deceived by Alec, and that he had been killing for the Rogues all along. Feeling betrayed, Logan tried to kill Alec but barely escaped with his life. He roamed New York on his own for a few more years until he realized he needed help. He formed his own group and now they fight Alec together.
Skills: Logan is a good leader and negotiator. His is also an excellent chef, but he never mentions that.
Extra: The Cursed know that Logan once worked for Alec, but not all of them believe he was tricked. Some don’t trust him.


Name: Syvra Siann (My Pearl Angel)
Age: 22 (bitten at age 17)
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Syvra is very angry most of the time. She doesn't have a problem saying what's on her mind, even if it's rude and uncalled for. She doesn't care what people think about her, but in truth, she's lonely. She occasionally goes to the rooftop of a brick apartment building she used to live in to cry. She goes there because she doesn't want anybody else to watch her. She yearns for affection, but she won't let anybody close enough to give her any.
Appearance: minus the wings and pointy ears
History: Syvra had been originally 17 and working on finishing high school so she could become a psychologist. However, when she was in school one day, a small group of vampires attacked the classroom and slaughtered her teacher and most of her classmates. A couple of them survived, including her. She couldn't go to school anymore and her family abandoned her and called her a monster. She drifted around on the streets, randomly killing any vampire she came along in the hopes she would kill the one who turned her into a monster and destroyed her future. She met Logan when she just finished killing one and decided to kill two birds with one stone and feed on him. At first, she got defensive, but when she saw Logan's superior skills, she tried to run but he caught her. He offered a chance to hone her skills and she accepted. Secretly, she likes Logan despite the fact that they're 'different species,' and she knows that he won't accept her, so she keeps her feelings stuffed away and acts angry and badass all the time to hide the fact that she's miserable inside.
Skills: She uses her knowledge of psychology to try and psyche out and manipulate the mind of the person she's fighting before any contact is made. She's extremely quick and can respond well to unexpected surprises in a fight.
Extra: 75% of her neck bears a huge scar. The vampire who bit her tore her throat out. It's a miracle she survived.


Name: Jessica Hawthorn (XoxoJess1)
Age: 65
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Jessica is a guarded individual who is kind to an extent but always does what she thinks needs to be done. She kills who she has to, when she has to, without hesitation or question as long as she thinks what she is doing is right. Jess can’t exactly be called loyal, but at least dependent; you can always count on her to get the job done. She doesn’t have many friends but will stick with a select few individuals that she likes and is generally good natured around them.
Appearance:
History: Jess had a good life. No, a great life. At nineteen she fell in love. Everyone told her that her love wasn’t real, that she was too young and things were going too fast, but she didn’t listen, nor did she care. Her boyfriend, Chris, who was also nineteen and had been with her for a year, asked Jess to marry him after her twentieth birthday. She happily agreed, and a few months later she found out she was pregnant with a girl. Everything seemed to be going perfect. Jess had never much liked her family or her past, and Chris had saved her from that. Her marriage would mark a whole new beginning for them and she could forget everything that had ever gone wrong before. But Jessica’s happiness was shattered when someone attacked her and her boyfriend in broad daylight. There were cops nearby, but none of them seemed to take any notice of the woman screaming for help as her fiancé was murdered before her eyes. She did all she could to stop the attack, leaping at the man who had somehow ripped out Chris’ throat. But the man was unbelievably strong and pushed her back like she was nothing. The man eventually bit her neck before leaving her. Jess recovered, only to discover that she had acquired the most terrible of diseases. Unfortunately her unborn child did not survive the disease, and Jess was left alone. Until Logan found her and offered her a chance at revenge and a cure.

Name: Alaric von Steitz (Hand Of Eru)
Age: 26
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed...sort of
Personality: Alaric would be a decent guy if it weren't for his arrogance and caustic distrust of those around him, especially turned humans. His saving grace is that he follows an odd form of vampiric chivalry.
Appearance:
History: Alaric is the heir of a long line of Vampires. As such he was brought up to see the battle as a sacred war between mighty beings, but recent events have disillusioned him. His parents were killed by a pack of humans turned Lycan while he was visiting Germany, and he realized that the war was not a noble conflict, but a crude slugging match where any tactic was acceptable. He began killing the Diseased. Anyone who was not true-born, Vampire and Lycan alike. Then he learned about the Cure. Immediately he began to search for it. After all, a cure would be more efficient than killing them all, and getting rid of the war was better than letting it continue in its current state. In time he drew attention from Alec, and his home was attacked. Outnumbered, he chose to escape, and has come to a certain Cursed safe house he'd heard about.
Skills: The hereditary power of the van Steitz family is the ability to shadow-walk: Teleportation over short distances between heavy shadows. This skill also confers an increased sensitivity to sunlight. The other family heirloom is a black silver longsword, which Alaric has been trained to wield with great skill.
Extra: You'll have to learn the rest as we go.


Name: Rosen Bluesummers (EndOfDawn)
Age: 19
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Rosen is a very quiet person. In fact, she hardly says more than a few words to anyone at any given time. As a child she was even a mute for the first ten years of her life. She is distant and observant and generally very kind.
Appearance:
History: Rosen was a very smart young girl, but not at all social. She graduated high school a year early and without incident. Her parents let her move out when she turned 17, and it was then, when she was walking home late from work to her new apartment that a woman called to her from the shadows. Rose was frightened, but the woman called again, saying she needed help, and her voice was so soft and full of sorrow that she could not help but go to her. Rosen walked quickly into the darkness but stopped when she saw the woman was standing only a few feet away. “Are you hurt?” Rose asked. “My apartment is just up these stairs. We can get you up there and-” The woman sprang suddenly and gripped Rose by the shoulders. Rose had only enough time to give a muffle cry before everything went dark. When she awoke she was slumped against the wall. She tried to move, but found that her whole body ached. Her neck burned, but when she managed to lift a shaking hand to it there was no blood, only a gaping wound. And there was the thirst… Rose had no idea how long she waited there until someone found her. A man walking by noticed her, and Rosen, without knowing exactly why, did what the other vampire had done to her, and called the man over. He came rushing to her side and started to pick her up, but she sank her new fangs into his neck. She did not kill him, but waited for him to turn as well. The two of them hunted together the following day, and after that became companions. When Rose was 18 he was killed, so for a year she was on her own again. Sometime after her 19th birthday Logan found her.
Skills: While Rose is not good with weapons like many of the other members, she is quite skilled with technology and strategy.
Extra: Rosen is the newest member of our group of Cursed. She has only been with them for about a week.


Name: Alice Darkguard (BellaTheDevious)
Age: 21
Race: The Cure
Personality: Alice is energetic and has been known for her spontaneity. She tries to keep an optimistic look even in the times she lives in. She keeps hope for something better. She can be stubborn, but has quite a bit of patience and even more persistence. Though her will may be strong, she has a problem being indecisive. A lot of the times she is confused on what she wants or what she thinks she should do. But when she finally makes a decision she sticks with it.
Appearance:
History: Alice doesn't remember much of her real parents. All she remembers is a large black dog standing over the body of her mother, and her mother screaming for her to run. It was then she was rescued and taken in by a man named Luke. Luke raised her like she was his own. She had been living with him until he too was killed, leaving Alice to fend for her own. After Luke died she moved into a different part of the city and got a job at a local pool bar.
Skills: When Alice was 12 her adoptive father taught her the arts of Brazilian jujitsu as well as Mai Ti (kick boxing)

Name: Jasper Hallows (EndOfDawn)
Age: 48, looks to be around 25
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: To those that don't know Jasper, they think that he's cold-hearted, uncaring, and unfaithful. However, to those few that he's allowed to get close enough to get to know him, they know he's the complete opposite. He's very protective to himself and the people that he cares about.
Appearance:
History: He learned at a young age that he couldn't trust everybody, so he pulled himself away from everybody. That is, everybody but his little sister, Maria. As they grew older, they became really close--she was in her mid-teens, he in his mid-twenties. One day he was walking her home from school when they were attacked. The pack of vampires got to his sister before he could, to protect her, and she didn't survive. Then they came after him, but he survived, just barely. Since then, he's been wandering trying to seek revenge on those that killed his sister. Years had passed, and that's when Logan found him and Jasper joined the cause for the Cursed.


Name: Felicia Drake (Dragonxx5)
Age: 21 and looks it
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Usually cold and untrusting, it's very hard to get near her or form a real friendship with her. Despite this Felicia is surprisingly caring and protective even to those she doesn't like. She does have a nasty temper, if you know how to get to her, and is very dangerous. After so many years of chaos she has started to crack and is practically uncontrollable if her mind is set on something.
Appearance: Except without the ears or wings, many horrible scars under her clothing and piercings including her lower lip, all down both ears and the cartalige done, nose and her right eyebrow to take eyes away from the scar under her left eye.
History: Felicia's parents were murdered brutally before her eyes when she was five. The killer was a vampire named Zeak, who attempted to take her life as well. But her father managed to shoot him in the gut, driving the beast off and saving his young daughter. Felicia survived her minor wounds but her father died before the ambulance could get him to the hospital. Felicia lived on the streets for a couple years before a man named Max picked her up off the street. His wife Karin died in an accident when Felicia was eight. In his misery Max turned to alcohol and abuse towards both himself and Felicia to ease the pain, leaving horrible scars all over her body. Such a betrayal broke her; she stopped going to school, she lived off the streets, she drank and contstantly got into fights. At the age of thirteen one of her friends was attacked by a vampire and Felicia stayed by her to try and treat her wounds. But when her friend changed she attacked Felicia. In order to save her own life and keep her friend from suffering such a horrible one, she killed her. Felicia ended up turning and eventually killed Zeak when she was nineteen, her powers permantly turning her brown hair black and her eyes grey. Felicia struggles with alcoholism and mental issues. Felicia doesn't really remember how she met Logan; she had been severly injured in a fight with a Rough and Logan took her in and patched her up. She believes Logan's story and listens to his instructions. Most of the time.
Skills: Felicia has trained herself to use practically anything as a weapon, including her body. She can be completely silent and is unusually strong. She's very good at drawing as well. Last but not least she's pretty good at stitching you up if you blow yourself to pieces. (which is an exaggeration, of course)
Extra: Felicia thinks that most people are bad, but she loves animals. The only thing she has a whole lot of confidence in his her skills in combat.


Name: Iriai Yume (Sunset Dream)
Age: 89
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Dark and quiet Iriai cares aboutonly one person. And that person is her only sister Mitsukai. Always in the shadows Iriai feels that all is lost and wants to stay a vampire but she dosen't see why they shouldn't find the cure. After all if people want to take the cure then they should be aloud to.
Having been alone for years she dosen't trust anyone with anything and works for everything she has. She dosen't see any reason in why she should be alive and only lives for her sister. Her sister is the only one she cares about and she would die a million times over for her.
Appearance:
History: Born in a small slum down home to two Vampire parents Iriai was happy and lived the best life possible for someone born in her situation.
When she was seven her mom had another daughter Mitsukai Yume and on that day she promised her dad that she would protect her sister at all times.
That promise was put to the test when five years later a 12 year old Iriai held her five year old sister to her chest and watched as her mother and father were killed by two humans that thought they had been the ones that attacked there son.
As her mother layed dieing her father dragged his body closert o her and said his final words.
"Remember you promise."
From that day forth Iriai was there for Mitsukai. She sometimes goes with out food, (regular or blood) just to make sure her sister had what she needed.
At 10 Mitsukai asked Iriai what happened to there parents and she told her. At which point Mitsukai stopped wanting to live. After all being a vampire was the reason why her parents died and she dosen't want to be one anymore. At 20 when Iriai was 27 she had to lock her sister up to stop her from dieing. Wanting to save hersister and just see her happy. Iriai began searching for the cure, not for herself but for her sister. And dosen't plan on stopping till she has found it.
Skills: She's a hacker and a tracker. Her fighting skills are mainly hand to hand and she dose use a small sword.
Extra: She keeps her sister locked up in a bomb shelter in the middle a of the forest. There she is kept so that she wont try to kill herself or harm herself.
Iriai visits her atleast ounce a week to make sure she's eating and is ok.

Name Mitsukai Yume (Angel Dream)
Age: 82
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed, but not really on one
Personality: Mitsukai is depressed. She sees no reason to live, after all what she is is the reason why her parents are dead. She knows Iriai risks her life all the time searching for the cure so she can be human but it only makes her more depressed.
Always trying to kill herself she hates the taste of blood oand has hersister inject it into her.
Appearance:
History: Born two a great pair of vampire parents she has an older sister that always protects her.
Mitsukai dosen't remember her parents death but her sister told her it happened when she was five. What she dose remember is that her sister has always been there for her and loves her dearly.
After her fifth attempt at killing herself Mitsukai (20) woke up in a bomb shelter that she couldn't escape. There she lives off bagged blood that her sister forces into her blood stream and and watches as her sister looks more and more sick but promises to bring her the cure so she can be happy.

Extra: She is always in her bomb shelter and barely spoken to

Name: Nathaniel Grace
Age: 25, but appears as 15
Race: Vampire
Side: Cursed
Personality: Nathan doesn't like tension or dark feelings such as frustration, sadness, anger, etc. So, he tries to keep things light by making jokes and trying to always look at the silver lining (good thing he's vampire and not lycan (; ). He can be very serious when he has to, but usually is only when he's in the midst of a dangerous battle. He's smart, loveable, caring, fun, and kinda cuddley. He isn't the type to be all dark, big and badass, but he can be. And he can be harsh.
Appearance:

History: Nathan was "infected" when he was young, around the age of 9, by Alec himself. He was to be a great warrior for the rouges, but was lost in the middle of a battle, at the age of 18. Scared and lost, Nathan was founded by Logan, who took him in as one of his own. He had felt like he was betrayed by the rouge, so he decided to get the best revenge on Alec he could think of, being a warrior of his greatest enemies. Nathan has been with Logan for the past 2 years as one of Logan's most trusted warriors.
Skills: Nathan's left eye is covered because it gives Nathan the ability to see into the very depths of a person, allowing him to control them. And the skeleton staff he has is enchanted. The man who use to be the owner of the bones used to make the staff, was cursed to be imprisoned in the staff for all eternity. The man in the staff talks to Nathan and can be used as a weapon. The man can also posses and control anything that Nathan wants him, whether its alive, dead, animated, or not.
Extra: Nathan doesn't like taking control of others, so he rarely does so. He's also gay.

Name: Alec Bane (EndOfDawn)
Age: 120
Race: Vampire
Side: Leader of the Rouges
Personality: Alec is cold and manipulative. He will give you what you think you want but make you wish you never had it. He is cruel and will use whatever method works best to extract information. He always gets what he wants, and on the odd occasion that he doesn’t there will be hell to pay. Oh, and he is quite out of his mind, but those afraid of him, which is almost everyone, prefer to just call him “eccentric.”
Appearance:
History: Not much is known about Alec’s past, except that he was committed to a mental institution but never made it, instead disappearing for ten years. Sometime during that absence he was Turned. Alec went drunk with the power. His business had always been flourishing, but with his new capabilities and the shear terror of his opponents put him at the top. Even humans that don’t believe in vampires know that something isn’t right with him and are smart enough to stay out of his way. Alec was so in love with his disease that he vowed to kill anyone who threatened to take it away, soon after forming his own small group of Rogues. When Alec found Logan he saw potential in the boy but knew he wouldn’t work for him if he knew what he was really doing, so he took him in and for seven years lied to him about the organizations purpose. He had Logan killing the very people he thought he was protecting. Finally after seven years Alec told him the truth, hoping the boy would accept his fate and work for him. But Logan tried to kill him, and so Alec in turn could not let him live. But Logan did escape, and as Alec hates to loose, he uses all of his power to hunt him and his group down.

Personality: Okay I think my best attribute is my sense of humor. Come on seriously, the world is whacked out enough as it is and the only think you can do is laugh! You think I'm kidding? Well then try it, I swear it's like body armor- everything goes straight through me and right back into the cosmic junk called the universe....believe me, it's the only way to stay sane some times. So I try to see the bright side of everything.

History: Let see, of all the screwed up members of our Brady bunch, I'm probably one of those whose been with his royal psychoness- I mean Alec the longest. I think it's cos I'm probably the only person who can stand his mood swings- I tell you he's worse than a girl with PMS! Believe me, being in that privileged position ain't all it's cracked up to be; I got into this simply because I was at the wrong place at the WRONG time. There I was, on my usual alley, turning the tricks and doing what I do for a living and Bam, Jack number four goes all Kujo on me. I was about to be bat food and bam number two, here's captain tighty pants. So yeah he saves my life but with all the carnage and collateral damage, sometimes I think I'd have been better off letting the vamp have his way with me. No I'm just kidding. After that I officially entered the most wanted list right next to Alec...and the rest is history.
Skills: Not to toot my own horn but I'm mad with the knives...seriously, even Alec gives me props on that. I may not look like a heavy weight but I throw a mean punch and my martial arts? Yeah don't try to figure it out, it's a mix of everything. I'm also pretty good at what the boss man calls , 'a confounded ability make myself conveniently unavailable at the wrong time," And I translate as, you'll never see me coming. Oh another thing, I'm pretty good with the ladies too. What? I'm a nice guy!
Extra: So...after having said all that, I feel obligated to throw this out there. D-dont ever hope to walk into me after dark. It's nothing personal okay...so no hard feelings or anything. Oh the eye? Yeah, there's some guy with a serious Vendetta on Alec and I just happened to get in the way. Oh it's all good, I got a pretty good memory.


Name: Neasa Connor (Klepto_Kit)

Personality: Neasa is a little bit of a hot head under her normally sweet temperment, she has a short fuse that can be set off by the oddest things; and she's stubborn and determined enough to never back down or admit she's wrong unless she really means it. She's normally a very nice person to be around, though her sense of humor is often of the sarcastic side of life. She's always been a bit egnigmatic in other areas, however, because one moment she can be loud and acting as though she could strut naked before the world and not care, and the next moment she can seem uncomfortable in her own skin.
Appearance: Neasa comes from mostly Irish heritage, so she has the naturally pale Irish skin and the heart shaped face that's most often associated with those of Irish descent. While fairly tall she's also slender and lithe, the muscles of her body packed into a smaller frame; she doesn't even really have curves. With her bright chocolate colored brown eyes and her rich brown hair to go along with her delicate face and fragile looking for you'd think she would be quite pretty, except that Neasa is an extreame tomboy. She wears he hair boy short and dresses only in ratty old boys clothes that are too big for her, and she likes to flirt with girls for the fun of it.
History: Neasa was born a lycan, her parents having both been turned before her conception. Her mother, however, died not long after her birth, and it was set upon her father to raise her. Her mothers family was quite violent, and any time they got near her they showed her just how much they hated her. So Neasa grew up distrustful of others and raised to act as a boy, her only real escape from her world came in the form of her wolf form. She doesn't want to lose that, and while she might not be quite willing to kill for it, she will struggle to her mightest to remain that way. Because of the way she was treated by her family, when she wasn't "escaping", Neasa sought a kind of revenge on the world by stealing, and this soon grew to a profession. It was during one of her trickier hiests she ran into Alec, and every team needs a thief.
Skills: Stealth is a major one, her instincts are extreamly strong, even for a lycan. and she has a sixth sense for danger, she has amazing acting skills, but what gets in the way of ever being able to seriously hurt others on purpose is an empathy she has for how they feel.
Extra: Neasa isn't bisexual, but because of how she was raised she only knows how to flirt with girls, so instead of flirting with a boy she thinks is cute she'll find an equally cute girl and flirt up a storm.


Name: Ronin Karusuma
Age: 42 (21)
Race: Vampire
Side: Rouge
Personality: Calm, emotionless, almost robotic. Ronin doesn't react to much and mostly keeps to himself, speaking only when he has to or if he has something important to say. One might say he's serverly depressed, but the truth is that he's merely lost all reason to really live besides stopping the Cure. He drifts through life like an empty shell, taking in information but not really effecting the world.
Appearance: Ronin is half Japanese, so he has the slightly yellowish tinted skin and the tilted eyes. He's ghostly pale having avoided the sun his entire life due to the strange silver color of his eyes, they can't stand sunlight at all even behind his classic sunglasses. He wears his black hair long, having stopped cutting it long ago, and he doesn't care too much about his appearance unless it makes him uncomfortable.
History: Ronin was changed into a vampire at the age of one and a half in an accident that left only himself and his two older sisters alive. Still human, they raised and took care of him, scraping out a living selling useless junk or stealing what they needed. He never knew his sisters weren't like him, and because of his pale eyes he could never follow him into the sun, so when the day came that a drunk human started to kill them when he was eight he was trapped in the shadows watching and wondering why his sisters weren't winning. In a fit of rage when he realized they were dead Ronin charged blindly, litterally, into the sun and killed the man. For the rest of his life up until six years ago he continued this pattern, killing any human he deemed "unworthy". By the time Alec found him Ronin had died inside a long time ago. All he really knew was that the humans weren't deserving of life and that if he stayed with Alec he would have the means to see to it that no more humans would ever exist.
Skills: Physically Ronin is very strong, and years of living on the streets have made him very clever and handy at many things. Perhaps his observational skills are the best, however; because of his silence he sees and hears everything the others miss.
Extra: He isn't completely ruthless, he has a soft spot for any female or young child.

Name: Josiah S Hemingway (Anabel Sinclair)
Age: 19
Race: Human
Side: Rogues (what? he's a freelancer!)
Personality: Cool and collected, with a hint of razz on the side. He doesn't try to play the hero- they always end up dead anyway- but does his part and knows that the big guys always overlook the underdogs...it's their fatal flaw.
Appearance:
History: This average looking high school grad by day, quick silver hacker by night barked up the wrong tree the day he decided to hack and steal one quirky werewolf's identity. Luckily for him said werewolf has a sense of humor and an appreciation for Jo's skills. He took the boy in, set him up in a vantage nook in town and has him doing all the dirty tech work for him....as well as setting up fake web subscriptions to *ahem* some websites.
Skills: IQ of 156, wicked hacker skills and the blessed human ability of appearing as unassuming as possible. But thanks to his benefactor, Jo has been packing up the muscles and learning some useful self defense tips against the things that go bump in the night.
Extra: He may work with the Rogues, but Jo's loyalty lies solely with his benefactor- Sky. He trusts no one else and thanks to their deliberately tenuous line of liaison, has successfully stayed under the radar...for now.


Name: Ebony Sansom
Age: 40
Race: Lycan
Side: Rogue
Personality: Ebony has an obsessive nature, which has turned into a strong loyalty to Alec and pride as a lycan. Ebony is cruel and enjoys tormenting others (especially The Cursed) and she is also rather snappy in social situations and has a rather nasty black humour and is underhand in just about everything she does.
Appearance:

History: Ebony, a 28-year-old business-woman who was dead bored with her corporate life. To cure her boredom Ebony looked to the darker side of human nature to find her entertainment, and soon found her passions in developing skills with weapons. Ebony fell in love with the assassins tool of the garroting wire, and as such became enmeshed in underground business politics knocking off rival CEO’s and learning trade secrets through means of interrogation. One day however, became more exciting than even Ebony had hoped for, when a victim ‘got out of hand’ Ebony was bitten by a lycan and as such was turned. With her new and ‘improved’ lifestyle Ebony heard about the two opposing forces of the Rogues and the Cursed, and immediately turned her affections and loyalties to the Rogues. Due to this Ebony sought out Alec and has been with Alec and the Rogues since.
Skills: Ebony is a masterful but cruel interrogator, and is specialised in using a 2 metre long garrotting wire with a small weight on the end. When using her weapon Ebony wears specialised gauntlets for protection. ‘The wire’ also ‘aids’ in interrogations and the procuring of the desired victim. Due to this weapon Ebony is also proficient in long distance combat.

Name: Astraelle Yukiren
Age: 22
Race: vampire
Side: Rouge
Personality: Distant. Astraelle is utterly detached and her mind wanders frequently. She is highly intelligent and prizes logic above emotions. Her loyalties lie with none but herself; however she recognises Alec’s power and finds him intriguing.
Appearance:
History: Astraelle was a vampire by birthright. However instead of inheriting the family bloodline gift of controlling fire, she is a seer. Her visions were violent and often caused her pain, meaning she was often detached and her family treated her like an outcast. She left soon after her ‘awakening’ (where she received her powers) She learnt a custom blend of martial arts when she was younger and trains often to distract from the pain of her visions.
Skills: She is a seer and is trained in a customized blend of martial arts.
Extra: Wants revenge on her family for treating her the way they did. Their treatment made Astraelle even more determined to be herself and this is why she hates the cure, something that threatens to take away her uniqueness.

Humans

Name: Lila Li
Age: 15
Race: Human
Side: Clueless pathetic human (for now at least)
Personality: She daydreams for most of her time and catches as much rest as she can. She can't help herself at looking at guys who she consider cute or hot or any of that such. She is extremely paranoid at times and acts moody when so. She does not care when people are killed in front of her, instead, she is in some short of daze. When she kills another, she has no resentment or sympathy for the victim. She cares not much for the crumbling society and only cares that her alone lives. Though she does shows mothering sides of herself to the vampire kid she found on the streets, which she named Dwain. (p.s. she gets grumpy at times when she is tired)
Appearance: She also wears very thick black leggings underneath her skirt, and black fingerless gloves with a scarlet stained knuckle plates. She wears a black zip-up hoodie instead of the khaki brown jacket shown above. Another note is that she often ties up her hair in a high ponytail. She dyed her jet black hair to bloody crimson for the convenience when she doesn't feel like washing the blood out of them.
History: She lived her life normally as a regular human, minus all the blood shed in the world you see now. She had two loving parents and an older sister. She was at the age of ten when her and her family returned from a summer vacation in China. Her family sent her to visit an uncle's house alone in New York. When she arrived, no evidence of his existence was there. She tried contacting her family, but it did not work. She raised her self with no help from another party, five years on her own, a cruddy job at a restaurant and a cruddy apartment complex with only one bathroom and a room combination of a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. She watches boringly from her window, lycans and vampires alike, killing and forming new brothers and sisters. Her cooking skills are much admire in the restaurant and earns her raises, giving her enough money to waste on needs and luxury. She buy's a sword for self defense early on when she received her first pay. She killed all who tries attacking her. She wakes middle of the night at the sound of a mouse or roach, often causing her to be grumpy from the lack of sleep. One day, on her way back home from work, a child lied lifelessly on the curb. She inspected the kid who looked around the age of ten and the first thing that caught her attention were the two sharp, pointy fangs on his beaten lip. She took him back home and used a medical needle to take blood from her own veins and ejected it back out to a bowl and feed it the boy. He woken up and they lived together afterwards. She never faint or felt weak from the blood lost, and instead seem to have unnecessary and unnaturally amounts of blood being generated. After she is given the highest position as top chief in the restaurant, she runs home to tell Dwain, the child she had saved from the streets. But he was no where to be found in their two room apartment complex. Just disappeared and gone, she never did see him again. She came to the habit of taking blood from her self and when she doesn't she gets gushers of a nose bleed. She rids the blood by pouring it into her indoor plants instead of water. To her amazement, the plants thrived and bloomed flowers stained in scarlet. She has admires a man from her window for a long period during her free time. He had beautiful flaming hair and facial features. But he was a lycan and not just any lycan either. She daydreams often during work of what it might be like to be turned into one of them. Other than day dreaming and working, she practices her swordsman skills over her katana. Developing her own unique style and coming up with cliché names to go with it.
(The above is what she knows of) Her family found there hometown invaded and turn into a battleground and as an attempt to save the youngest, they sent her to an uncle that lived in New York, hoping he would keep her safe. While the youngest knew of nothing and went to New York by herself, her family stayed behind to gather things they deemed important before leaving. But before they took a step out of their home, they were slaughter by a vampire. In New York, the uncle had long lost his life to the non-humans, leaving the girl by herself. Her family had shorts of connections in their past generations as hunters of the non-humans had some how granted the present lone girl excessive amounts of blood. The family deemed the girl as their treasure and had given her a blessed jade necklace when she was born to protect her from tainted spirits. As the jade ages its powers were suppose to grow stronger but due to another reason, it grew weaker. When the lone girl came around the age of twelve, the jade's power gave in and that was when she had to learn how to protect herself from the tainted.
Dwain, the vampire boy Lila had found had left because he was afraid one day he would suck Lila dry from the neck when his will gives way. He had not once sucked from a neck thanks to Lila always providing him with fresh blood. But he was scared. So he left and got caught up in a battle between the Rouges and a business enemy. He was injured and vanished, his whereabouts are unknown.
Skills: Mastery over her katana, agility fit for a ninja ninja , cooking, and extreme amounts of blood?
Extra: Uh, she likes to draw and read lots and lots of romance novels... and reading manga. She'd much rather watch it but television and cable is a tad bit expensive to maintain.
