The howl escaped his ruby-hued maw as the wind blew, the breeze carrying the cry through the clouds like a scent on the wind. If he had wings, this would would surely take off.
But that wasn't the case with Chronos. Perhaps at one time, a long time ago, he had wings. He had been a god, or so he assumed. An "Aesir". One of the Great.
Now he was Chronos...the golden timeclock wolf with an hourglass around his neck and no memories to his name.
Chronos, ever searching, but never expecting anyone to recieve his call.

[Insert Amaranth here]
Her body was the ruby color, almost crimson with the hint of purple.. Her pelt soft and luscious, as she kept herself very tidy.. The sage green vine that trailed her neck was merely a pattern, and she had made sure to let everyone know..
She had blue eyes that matched the sky, yet they were maddening, as true insanity lie behind them. She was a Darker soul, yet not bad.. She had her days where she was unpredictable..But didnt everyone?
Her black nose sniffed.
She wasnt alone.

As she sniffed the air, he tasted it. His ears swiveled around to zoom in on the other wolf -- female and not perhaps friendly... -- and he stood. And he moved forwards on steady paws, bracelets clinking together with soft 'shhing' noises every footstep dropped.
Chronos saw her...and waited.
