Kabichi was curled up, sleeping snugly in her den as the boys were out with Shin. It was a nice reprieve, relaxing, and otherwise comfortable.
She liked the quiet-- no siblings or anyone trying to wake her up. Alas, it wasn't to last; but she didn't know that.
Not yet.

Chaka was bored that day. She had noone to play with for the moment, and had decided to cross the plains to visit the lioness she'd met the other day. It wasn't a hard trek-- just follow the scent, although others had definitely muddled it at times. Not that it'd proven a challenge, and Chaka stretched out, yawning, before padding into the den-- other animals be damned. She knew her friend wouldn't be so dull. The leopardess deftly moved close, and then sat on Kabichi.
"Heya!"

Kabichi jerked awake with a squeal, eyes shooting open and she wiggled away before eying the leopardess grinning away at her.
Her jaw dropped. She didn't. But, she had. The nut had FOUND her.
"I.. Uh.... How did you find my DEN?" The lioness was astounded.
The other female grinned.

Chaka grinned for a few minutes before twitching her nose.
"I used my nose. Really, you should have guessed. So, what do you wanna do?"
The leopardess ignored the females look of absolute confusion and slight disgust.
"Come oooon, there's gotta be something--OH, I KNOW!"
Chaka grabbed the other by the ear, dragging her along.

Kabichi squealed, batting to get her ear free before grudgingly following the other female. Where they were going, she had no idea, but clearly "No" wasn't an answer. Still, it seemed the leopardess had decided she was friend.
Kabichi hoped this was a good thing.

Chaka soon led the lioness to a cliff overlooking the grasslands, and laid down. Kabichi moved nearby and laid down, looking.
The view was impressive; sprawling grasses, and rivers were in sight, and prey occasionally danced about. It seemed to calm the otherwise hyper leopardess, who sighed.
"I love this spot. It's peaceful." She confessed. "I brought my sister here once, too. But it doesn't always seem to have others."
She looked over.
"Sorry if I'm a pest, I just hate sitting idle." She shrugged. Kabichi nodded.
"It's fine."
After all, friends shared some things.
Like a view.
