It was hard to go on, sometimes. It was hard to just put one paw in front of the next, to keep a steady pace through wind and rain.
She was tired of running, but if she stopped, she might get hurt.
Or hurt someone else.
The life of a wanderer was lonely and terribly depressing. Perhaps that's why she was going insane; a rogue on neutral territory that attacked for no reason. Someone to keep an eye on.
Sure, packs were recruiting. They always were. But they were recruiting spies and assassins and pup-sitters. They weren't recruiting crazy omegas with a deathwish. If they were, she'd no longer be a loner.
The sun glared down on her, angry and hot for June, and though her back was a saddle of brilliant pink, the purple fur underneath was nearly black and absorbed heat like a leaf absorbed water.
Her nose rose up and she caught the scent of water -- a river -- not too far from there. And so she was up and moving again. To swim would be a luxury...and perhaps the river might cool off the attitude thrown upon her so randomly.
Her name was Bipolar, afterall.

Shego ran with a vitality and sparkle of a young female, but she was not young, or at least not very young. Once she had run in the sparkling light of day with a smile, a laugh, and her brothers at her side. They stopped to help other wolves, lavishing their time and attention, good deeds on those in need. That was long ago, now Shego ran alone, and ran not to help, but to hurt.
The radioactive green female ran half in shadow, half in light with a twisted smirk on her face and only a cruel biting laugh. Her eyes flicked to the trees above her. "Catch up Lorcan or I'll leave you!" She smirked cruelly, but skidded to a sudden halt as she came near the river. She had come for a bath and a drink, but it seemed she would find sport instead.
Her nose twitched, a female, alone. A cruel smirk twisted her muzzle as her lynx companion slunk down from the branches behind her. "Think she can swim?"
The lynx grinned "With me on her back?"
Shego stifled a laugh, the sight would be an amusing one.

The violet wolfess waded through the river, unaware of the predators sulking in the shadows around her. She heard a branch crack, probably from the lynx and her head shot up, only to lower back down.
"It's just a bird," she growled at herself. She was naturally paranoid. She just told herself that this was a time of paranoia. She'd met too many nice wolves compared to ones that were out to get her... Perhaps it was all just in her head.
Or perhaps her stalkers would prove all of her past fears correct.

Lorcan lay low and quiet only a grin conveying his thoughts, his eyes moved over to Shego as they shared their silent amusement.
The radioactive green and black female slipped low and watched her wildly colored target, she might have let her be but she heard the female muttering to herself. She was amused that the omega thought only birds made such sounds, this would prove most amusing. Perhaps once she had dragged the little sopping violet from the river she would spare her any further pains.

Bipolar ducked her muzzle under the surface, careful not to breathe in the water as she snapped at a brave fish...and missed.
She was completely oblivious to the two pairs of eyes locked on her violet form. For once since she'd met Kato, she was at ease.

The violent pair moved in on the unsuspecting wolf both grinning, both amused by their own actions.
Lorcan moved first he lunged and soon his lynx curved claws were embedded in the females sides and he was on her. The lynx held on as if he were some type of rodeo rider, and Bipolar was the buckin' bronco.
Shego moved then to the river a slow steady trot before she sat down to cheer on her feline companion. "Don't let go now Lorcan!" She called out cheerfully before turning her cruel emerald gaze on the purple female.
"And you, best keep your head above the water, or you'll be sleeping with the fish you failed to catch."

Bipolar's ears flicked back as the lynx lunged but she could do nothing. Claws dug into flesh and the she-wolf gave a scream of fear and pain.
She fell to the side, flailing underneath the beast. Her fangs snapped at air, vocals never pausing until her head went under the surface.
Her legs thrashed underneath, inhaling water and bleeding, her muzzle thrust right back up to take a deep breath of air and snarl at the lynx.
And she noticed Shego...
Who just watched...

Shego gave a cruel laugh of amusement and sat there watching still, she wouldn't let Lorcan kill the female, but this sport would keep her entertained for a while. She wasn't fully thinking on it though, which perhaps made her all the more cruel, after all there was a female struggling for her life and her mind was wandering to other things.
Shego was wondering how close she was to a pack who she had heard of, said to be ruled by a harsh alpha who recruited only those who showed some promise. Shego had always known that she was not as wholly wicked as some wolves, she felt guilt often enough after her cruel acts, she even had a soft spot sometimes for pups.
Lorcan hissed and thumped his claws against the female who's back he was on holding on with a triumphant grin. He was showing off for Shego unaware that her thoughts were elsewhere. The scream had amused him, the water cutting off the sound. Finally tired of the water he leapt from her back to the shore and shook off with a chuckle.

The wolf was panicked. There was a bigass cat riding her like a horse and a green and black wolfess on shore who was merely watching.
Bipolar wanted to cry for help, to yowl in pain, but her mouth felt glued shut. And she knew better. By the look in Shego's eyes, she was enjoying Bipolar's anguish.
Finally, with one push downwards, the lynx leapt to the shore, letting the wolf spiral back up to the surface and drag herself out of the pond.
Blood mixed with water from where jagged claws had ripped her skin. She stood, lips rippling up in a snarl and her body shaking.
"What the ********>

Shego chuckled as Lorcan shook off, "Well done, I think that may be a new record my friend." Her gaze remained on the purple female as she dragged herself out.
Lorcan grinned proudly and finished shaking the water from his coat. He was ready to leap at the female again if she tried anything, but most weren't foolish enough to take such bad odds. He flexed his blood tipped claws.
Shego smirked at Bipolar and continued in a calm manner. "What's your name? You managed much better then some others you know? Most of them just pass out, no fun. No fun at all."

Most might not be foolish enough, but Bipolar was hardly most. The green wolf turned to the lynx, congradulating him on a job well done, and she felt her blood turn to acid, spitting out bile to the ground.
The she-wolf didnt't bother to answer Shego's question. Instead, the mood she was suffering intensified greatly.
"You've got a lynx for a boyfriend?" she snarled out, padding forth with a raised tail and eager snarl. "To do your dirtywork, wolf? Disgusting."

Lorcan snarled at Bipolar and rushed her, he stopped inches from her face his paw raised, claws dangerously close to the females face. "Watch your tone female, or you'll end up dead in that river today."
Shego chuckled and shook her head. "Now now Lorcan she was brave, tough, lets not upset the poor thing further." The green and black she wolf moved closer to the purple omega.
"Lorcan is more my partner in crime, he's quite useful and entertaining, but he hardly does MY dirty work. When I want a job done I do it myself, but see my playful kitten needs entertainment every once in a while, and you were the days proud provider.

The wolf returned the lynx's threat with a snarl, snapping her jaws at the air a few centimeters from the raised paw of the wild cat.
As Shego neared her, Bipolar swung to the side, ears flattened in anger. The wound on her side throbbed and as she dried, it tightened, blood beginning to coagulate.
"I hardly see why a wolf such as yourself should help provide a...kitten...entertainment." She glared at the lynx. "Shouldn't you be maiming a mouse, little kitty?"

Shego smirked softly and glanced at Lorcan "Why DO I help you again Lorcan?" She chuckled and watched the purple omega with eyes sparked by amusement. There was little purpose to Shego's cruelty except to prove that she was not a help but a hinderance, she had he own reasons to prove that.
Lorcan huffed "Because I'm lovable and you love me." The lynx knew it wasn't true, at least not that the wolf loved him, but she would one day, he hoped. He turned to hiss at the pink and purple and, what wild colors! "Mice don't provide the same amount of fun as you did my little rat."

She threw her head back in a laugh. "A wolf? Loving a cat? Lorca, is it? Grow up. She's using you. Even a pathetic omega such as myself can see that!" Her ears pricked up as she smirked. "Rat? I'm hardly a rat. Why not go play cat-and-mouse with someone willing, eh?"
With her attention back on Shego, she recalled what the green wolfess had said before. That she'd done better than most, floundering in the river with no breath. With a dry snarl, she huffed out her name. "Bipolar. The pleasure's all yours, I'm sure, because it's not mine."
